Hi Focus Friends, I'm Aron! After graduating #1 and getting into Harvard, my life unraveled.
At 33 years old, I was broke, divorced, and earning just above minimum wage.
Shortly thereafter, I was diagnosed with ADHD (Inattentive type). In the years since then, I have built a thriving Fortune 500 career working with leading companies like Marriott, Deloitte, Johnson & Johnson, United Healthcare, McDonald's, KPMG, and more. I am happily remarried and finally feel in control of my life.
This channel is called "Hidden" ADHD because I was NOT hyperactive, so my ADHD went "under the radar." I believe there are many other adults that are living below their potential because of non-hyperactive ADD.
I am not a medical professional, but I've learned that ADHD is very manageable. In this channel, I share all of the tools, insights, and science-backed strategies I used to turn my life around. My earnest desire is for you to live the life of your dreams!
Warmly,
Aron

Why would anyone want to be with someone who has ADHD?
I soo relate, and I liked the video the moment you began with the ME Fit analogue. I left jobs and rejected others that promised huge salaries and prestige and settled for less because of this.
Productivity Rocks!
I am 32 and I am at the lowest point of my life. I can even manage to arrive on time to work. And working as a nanny being paid really low . I need to change everything now.
@@Franinthesky if you weren't nannying, what kind of work would you do
Yeah a lot of
The issue I have with Vyvanse is waiting too long for it to work. But giving a short acting Adderall in the am isn't something my doctor isn't familiar with.
Productivity rocks!
Similar to you I didn't find out what was going on with me until this past year at age 37. That diagnosis explained so much, and since I find myself needing to transfer to a new career your videos, resources, and knowledge have been priceless. Thank you! Hoping to get unstuck and headed in the right direction for once in my life.
Starting 30mg first time tomorrow. Free of charge, NHS baybay
Ritalin doesn't help me focus. It just makes me feel really really good. It makes me want to listen to music and get completely absorbed in it. It also makes me want to organize my space, but not focus on my work. It also has a really hard come down. I feel it wearing off and I become super cranky. So it's not for me. Adderall, sadly, did not help with focus. It made me want to lock eyes with people which was super weird, but it gave me mild psychosis. So I only took one or two doses and stopped. I haven't tried the other two. I would like to try Vyvanse but given how similar it is to Adderall I am hesitant as it may also produce mild psychosis symptoms.

I just recently in the last two years finally understand what ADHD tax is. I feel like We screw ourselves just like the government does LOL.
Productivity rocks lol
Thanks for the info. Plenty of points that reinforce the learning in my journey and a few to think about. Ps. You can blame her for cheating, there's a sequence of decision making and communicating to take place before it's a green light for a new relationship. Right v wrong is a choice whatever the justification.
How about jobs for introverted ADDers?
What is a rescue dose?
The first medication I was put on was vyvanse (I have combined type adhd and autism). For me it had next to no benefit, I felt nauseous the whole day, my crashes would leave me a crying mess and my sleep was screwed up due to it. I'm only now starting ritalin so we'll see how it goes.
Perfectionism is my downfall!
My concern is not motivation. My concern is being able to focus and concentrate. This is what I need help with as a teenager.
I have been on Vyvanse for about 4 months, at first it worked well but now it just makes me very scatterbrained and my focus is completely gone, sleep is out the window I am lucky if I can get 4 hours a night which creates another issue of the feeling exhausted. even when I do get a good night's sleep Vyvanse sometimes can make me very tired after taking it and leaves me feeling like I need to wake up 40mg of Vyvanse should keep you elevated not tired. My doctor is going to be switching me to concerta next appointment. He believes that my ADHD is more inattentive and distractable which Ritalin works better for. The one thing Vyvanse has done well for me is I no longer have disabling anxiety. I have tried Adderall to and that made me feel like I was disconnected from society my family and my friends it was horrible. I have been told that sometimes Stimulants don't work and the nonstimulant route may be the one I need. Hopefully, Concerta works for me.
You don’t even have ADD
I love a person who suffers from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and he has not confided in me his feelings yet, even though we have been working hard for a year with each other. My favorite person and I love him is he is active and he wants a lot, but he does not communicate with messages or calls because he is somewhat shy and fears rejection, but the partners’ comments are hyperactivity disorder. The movement and the increased interest in an issue is frustrating to find a positive comment on, and I love it very much and I fear that these interests will exhaust me in our connection with our cause. Since our relationship is something that was agreed upon and changed its depth and definition, I feel that he is a different person and I really love him and want him.I have symptoms of Asperger's Syndrome. I am very organized, I love planning, and I am punctual. He is very chaotic and does not know organization and is late for his appointments. He is my complete opposite, but I love him very much, and he knows that, but he is afraid to take a step forward in this relationship. He seems to have many fears about relationships, but he does not tell me that. I don't know what to do, but I am comfortable with his presence and I always wait for him
It definitely helps with impulsiveness and stay focused and complete tasks and i need to practice more mindfulness ❤ yes yes and yes .. without all the extra energy like Strattera gives you , like it gave more I'm on the more hyperactive side not in active 🤔 just my experience Definitely providing the amount of dopamine. Thanks be kind ❤🤗😊
You NAILED It!!!
Im prescribed 15 mg of Adderall one when in the morning and one in the afternoon thats 30 mg but i always to 75 because i work super long hours and i get up super early in ghe morning.
The first one gets me before I even get out of bed 😂😭
I love my wife but her ADHD makes life very difficult. Since she hit menopause it’s literally out of control. Her temper is horrendous
8 of 9. Sometimes the fake deadlines work, but inconsistent
I've done all of these except singing Eye the Tiger with air punches.
The clipboard manager is a built-in feature of Windows, you just have to enable it. Do that by pressing 'Windows-key'+'v' them click 'enable clipboard' Now 'ctrl'+'c/v' will work the same as before, _but it will save a history of why you cut/copied._ 'ctrl'+'v' will always paste the last thing that you pasted, but 'windows-key'+'v' will open a little window showing your clipped history.
Thanks. Can’t wait for part 2

This is me & these coping skills are ON POINT! I wouldnt necessarily say we are "people pleasers" tho....just an idea, but what if we learn to please people not because we care about being liked or accepted, but as a way to protect ourselves. I know I have RSD and I feel like ive learned all these coping skills to prevent situstions that trigger my rsd and leave me feeling down. I dont even like most NT people, I dont want to be in their group or hang out too long, but being rejected by NT people in general makes me question myself....so i use these coping skills in order to avoid my emotional response to their rejection bc I know I am unable to process these feelings of rejection. Maybe this is my adhd brain thinking too much into it.
LOL. All of 9 of them!! Wow, you're the first one to nail my processes that don't work.
Yup it is
Listened to this podcast based on this Short and it delivered. I especially appreciated when you fielded the unexpected question about how the 4P ME model applies to NON-entrepreneurs too, your answer showed real thoughtfulness and vulnerability. Listen to this podcast episode if you even have a some elements of ADHD and are starting a business, this is gold, could easily save you years of struggle.
This is a seriously awesome, much needed video for me 🙏💯🙌. I'm a much older, newly diagnosed female so there is a lot I need to catch up on and considering how moving forward. Boy does your insider perspective and information make it so much easier. Thank you. 💯👏
I'm about to make this same switch so this video is so helpful as I'm naturally a little nervous taking this step. Fantastic, informative video. So many thoughts and questions I have are covered. I thank you more than I can say. 🙌🙏👏💡
Careless mistakes at work. I would do my utmost best to follow all the instructions to a T and still commit most glaring blunders, despite the instructions telling me SPECIFICALLY not to do that. It's like my brain doesn't see certain things.
OMG we are so similar, I am so analytical, and I am sure that hypnosis will work for me too.
I cant stop being a people pleaser
I m starting vyvanse next week....I m so excited to finally start treatment
Have u seen my desk
Can you imagine being a type A go getter and being diagnosed with ADHD. Talk about a one legged race.
First time I remember having an RSD episode I was five. I was trying to learn a skill that they would test me on to let me into kindergarten. I struggled with it. I already hated that I couldn't get it the first time I tried. Then I reached a point where I gave up, thought that it was evidence that I was stupid and unlovable, and started crying. I was down for the count for at least an hour. I think it was the next day when I was feeling calmer that I tried again, and I got the skill right. This pattern has continued my whole life. Once I started puberty, the episodes came with suicidal ideations. I'm 43 now, still not diagnosed, still don't know how to deal with it, and still feeling like a failure.
Its crazy yall pay so much, here in germany its for free on prescription 😅
ADHD?
I was hoping to see myself in this video. I do about the procrastion and chores. Otherwise my husband is the one with the bad temper. I believe he is ASD-Very routine oriented. Otherwise I didn't see much similarity.
I suffered severe depression and mental disorder years ago as a teenage. Got diagnosed with ADHD. Spent my whole life fighting ADHD. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
Congrats on your recovery. Most persons never realizes psilocybin can be used as a miracle medication to save lives. Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death bud, lets be honest here.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Germany. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them
YES very sure of Dr.benfungi. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
I would like to know from those who have solved PTSD and anxiety, if they have solved it definitively and how to understand what quantity of psilocybin to take and when, for how long. And can you really heal without having an addiction? Thanks to everyone for helping me understand, I want to understand if it's something that can help me solve the problem (I have c-ptsd)
I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.
I am actually the ADD partner... but when I hear those things I see myself in the non ADD partner. I guess my partner is just even worse at these things and I have to invest energy that I don't have to compensate for me AND for him 🤔
don't put your vyvanse into orange juice its counter productive, vitamin c lowers the amount of vyvanse in your blood making it less effective
