This is great advice, I agree with everything you said. Although, I wouldn't offer a discount on the pilot. If the material is valuable, it's valuable. No need to devalue it or concede that it's going to be rough around the edges (even if it will be). If necessary, you can always gift credit towards future courses for the early adopters. You'll need all the capital you can get upfront, to build momentum.
