    I tried this and its working well for shopping but doesn't work well in non-brand PPC. It's better to run max conversions on a low budget with your highest converting keywords and scale up on tCPA once you get some volume.

    These type of videos are great. Pmax is capturing existing demand and what the trend line could be showing is the decline of it for several external reasons (which John touched). But what I feel like he ignored is the fact Shopping campaigns are not spending any money. Pmax is clearly suffocating the shopping campaigns (as Google often does when you have both). Instead of removing T-roas and increasing brand search appearance. Turn off P-max entirely and put all that budget into shopping so you get generic search term hits and actual incrementally. The only reasons this wouldn't work would be: 1. No one searches for these products (lack of solution awareness) 2. The seller's solutions just aren't appealing enough for someone who's a complete stranger to the brand.

      Currently, this feature isn't available in GMC Next. To access feed rules, the only option is to switch back to GMC Classic or wait until Google adds feed rules to GMC Next, which is scheduled to happen sometime in 2024.

I don't understand, I though high roas means "scaling" but the way I understand from this video is, if you are having high roas, you are not scaling. and you should. please help me understand. Appreciated. -------- I ended watching this video while looking for the solution for: High target ROAS issue in my products. "Your target ROAS resulted in lower bids than those of your top competitors in the last 30 days. To be more competitive, try lowering your target ROAS in campaigns that include this product."

      I do'n't see analysing as much data as possible as over-management. I see it as being fastidious, and looking at all aspects of all data points, to see trends, correlations and causations. I know my clients appreciate the extra insights I present them to them each week. To each their own I suppose.

    Hi Glen, first of all, thank you for yet another very detailed video! Could you tell me what the benefit of Mike Rhodes script is for you in this case? The main thing you showed was comparing the asset group performance over several time ranges. But couldn't you just do that directly on the Google Ads platform under Campaign > Asset Groups in the table view? You could also open multiple browser tabs with different time range filters and in Google Ads you also have the compare feature. Thanks for your help!

    Small question. You said that tCPA shouldn't be on for situational scenarios-clients(Emergency plumbers, veterinarians etc) but how about something like, say a interior design company. Should you still not go for tCPA or is turning it on better?

    We do ok on PMax - My main gripe is Google in all its “smart signal” wisdom, seems to think people only buy our product during the day time - historic and. Current days from Shopify and other platforms ( Amazon / eBay / Etsy ) show us that the evenings are our peak time and always have been - yet even though we know evenings often saved the day and traffic is highest - PMax bids low in the evenings and Smart signals tell us that people are not likely to purchase in the evenings ? Madness !? We know traffic accelerates in the evenings and have always been strong sales performance in the evenings - yet PMax across various campaigns shuts the doors around 6pm and advises that is a “smart” signal ??

    You really know your stuff when it comes to lead gen ads! I recently started using DoYouMail and it is been fantastic for email campaigns. It is got everything you need for email deliverability without the hefty price tag. Their automatic SPF, DKIM, DMARC DNS configuration takes the hassle out of setup.
