I traveled 10 HOURS to try THIS RAMEN | KrakĂłw, Poland Vlog
I traveled to KrakĂłw, Poland and my dear friend who was born and raised in KrakĂłw told me that I must try... a Ramen. I was really confused but also curious why I was recommended this Ramen place from a Poland native... perhaps because he knows I love Ramen? And while I had the opportunity to one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, I also wanted to see the historic old town of it.
So in this video I am telling you the journey I took, the hotel I stayed at, the places I visited, my experience in Krakow Old Town and that Ramen that was hyped up so much to me..

Akos - my wife and I are coming to Budapest in September, and I'm loving all of your videos - really useful. However! - I am vegetarian and my wife is vegan - could you do a video showing what cafes and restaurants there are for us in Budapest? Before September if possible! :-) Thank you! :-)
Any vegetarian dish for suggestion?
Hey there! Most of the traditional food has an element of meat... we even have a pasta that is mixed with curd and we still put bacon into that đ There is a place called Vegan Garden restaurant in the city center, they have some of the traditional dishes made vegan style, the Forest Mushroom Paprikash is one of my favorite dishes that doesnt have meat :) They also have a version of Ghoulash that is Vegan. Other than this, I hear a lot of people praise the "Happy Cow" app, which helps with finding vegan, vegetarian and gluten/lactose free places. You should be fine with trying LĂĄngos or Chimney cake, those are considered vegetarian (although there can be meat toppings for LĂĄngos, but just don't order those :))
Good job,,,,but Budapest changed a lot since I left in 1983...It got more westernized....(it was not a good idea to do that)....Hungary should leave American ways out of E.Europe...
Fantastic
Hey Akos, just came back from Budapest last week! Love the food! But unfortunately I didnât find much friendly Hungarians like you. Most are uptight and not genuine đ
Hey there! Thanks for the kind message, happy you had good time with the food :) It's sad you only got to meet with the less positive people of my country, past few years with the inflation and economy didnt help with increasing positivity. I hope that if you come back another time, perhaps you'll encounter some of my fellow young enthusiastic countrymen and women too :)
Great video Ăkos, I love to see that you show tourists how colourful our country is. And it is not all about Budapest :â -â ) I would like to add a bit of a correction about the "Witness Hills", as you have called them. They are actually called this not because these mountains witnessed a lot of thing, but because, as you have said, they have a storng basalt core and so the natural forces cannot tear them down. So today they are the only standing testimonies of the former sea level. So geologists can learn a lot about pre-historic time by studying these mountains.
Thanks for the clarity, it makes the name of those Mountains even more interesting this way :)
That bowl should be illegal.
Very nice vidéo , I love Balaton . My favorite place Szent György hegy where you can by amazing wine. And Balatonmaria, fenyves quite places for family, children with beautiful sunset! Köszi!

Going in August and your videos are very insightful!
I like that You spend an awful lot of your videos eating and drinking. I'm looking forward to any updates about pubs in Budapest in the future :)
Thank you so much for the support! Some pub and bar visits are planned for later, so will surely have a video with some places in the future :)
Akos is so engaging. What a personality!
Hello! We will come to Budapest from Bucharest to celebrate my birthday in July. We are beer caps collectors and I was wondering if you have any recommendation for very nice beers? we prefer lager but we are open. Also, your content is great, entertaining and informative in the same time! đ Thank you!
Thank you so much! Most of the Beers are available in canned forms these days but you can still find some bottled ones of the major commercial brands like Dreher, Soproni, or Arany Ăszok, though I would only stick to Dreher and Soproni. While they are not remarkable, they are nice to have on a hot summer day, so if you are looking for some bottles for your cap collection, you can try those for example :)
@@StuffedCabbageAdventures Thank you very much! đș
Thank you so much for this nice video
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Nagyon érdekes köszi
I Like the skanzen near Szentendre too
I believe the Skanzen there deserves it's own video one day :)
Béla café and Auguszt are nice too
Auguszt indeed has a lot of nice confectionary items :) I am not familiar with Béla Café, are you refering to Béla Båcsi Cukråszdåja?
@@StuffedCabbageAdventures it s BĂ©la bar Ă©tterem , BartĂłk BĂ©la utca
Oh yes! I love that area, and BĂ©la bar there is really nice indeed :)
Budapest used to be nice and cheap. I just returned from Budapest and things have changed a lot!!! The single ticket rule where you spend 1,25 euros for a single ride is just ridiculous. Now, almost everyone is rude and doesn't speak English and clearly they don't want tourists. On the other hand they completely overcharge them. For example a normal Langos should cost 2,50 euros but in most places they charge you around 10 euros. The same goes with the chimney cakes. The simplest one is 5 euros where it should be 2. If you add ice cream the price goes up to 10 euros. Furthermore they now charge the entrance to the Basilica for almost 7 euros. Ridiculous. They even charge the view from the Buda castle to Pest. I couldn't find a place that didn't want to rip me off and eat at normal prices. Every dish was highly overpriced. They charge 15% service even if you take it away. Not to mention the water. It costs 1 euro even at super markets like Spar. Cappuccino for 4,5 euros take away and simple ice creams for 5 euros. They think they are actually Paris. I talked with a lot of locals on the roads (mainly young people) and everybody agreed with me on these topics. All these combined with the rudeness. I am never going back. Never.
Sad to hear the city has let you down... honestly I think that Overcharging tourists is not specific to Budapest, a lot of cities that are popular with visitors unfortunately do similar things :( However as this and other of our videos show, there are ways to avoid the "tourist tax". But yes, in general over the last few years prices have gone up, and salaries didn't follow :(
So how much spending cash would be reasonable if I stayed a week? 10,000$ US dollars?
I don't think you'll need that much :) And it all depends on the experience you are looking for, the places you'll visit and the kind of restaurants you'll be eating at. We have another video about prices of various things, though inflation further added about 10% on those numbers since we published it...
Thank you. Iâll check it out.

Cyber Rabbit is my favorite. Thank you for your recommendations about beer and and you beautiful city of Budapest. Salud!
Thank you and Salud to you too! :)
One of the most amazing buildings in Europe. I visited it and enjoyed its splendor
I will be there in three weeks for a month. I lived there for 4 years in the 90âs
I finally got to try these they are so good I wish I wouldâve brought more back home
you probably didnât like the lights coming on there because it was nothing like it is in Budapest where itâs phenomenal how they light up the bridges, the Parliament itâs just amazing itâs so gorgeous there at night I love your city Budapest!
I love your videos! So what do you do for work?
Hey there! Thanks for asking, I work in the field of IT đ
East Asian food in Europe is the best in Krakow. I suggest you try "The Tokio Tower" when in Krakow.
Thanks for the recommendation, will keep it in mind đ
I'm looking foward to seeing the Statue of Columbo. It's my favourite TV show in the 90's. It's one of those shows that I can watch over and over and never get tired of. Peter Falk is outstanding! Thank you @StuffedCabbageAdventures for this interesting video. See you Budapest in 2 weeks!
I never, ever go to Gerbeaud. Over rated, tourist trap and over prized. When I bought macarons that came out from their freezer, that showed they are not a proper high class cafĂ© any longer. Iâm surpised you didnât mentioned SzĂĄmos, which has been the winner of many prices. Ruszwurm, heard they unfortunately are struggling right now, with taxes đą
Szamos is excellent! The good thing with them is you can get a lot of their products elsewhere too not just at the Cafe they have at Vörösmarty đ
ćäș«çćŸć„œ ç»èź
Wouldn't it be easier for you to go to Krakow via the Czech Republic instead of Austria ????
Train would've been the easiest but there were no tickets available last minute for reclining seats and I'm really bad at sleeping while sitting (it's a night train)... The easiest and quickest was the flight with connection in Vienna... But coming home I had to go via Brussels đ
