- Many Beautiful Murals can be found in Budapest. It's difficult to show you them all, but in this video, we wanted to show some of our favorite Street Art in Budapest and tell the stories behind them, so that perhaps you'll also take the time to explore the city on foot and visit these beautiful artworks yourselves!
Budapest is constantly evolving, buildings may be torn down and spaces may be left empty or the new buildings may not fill the same void. This may leave firewalls empty and exposed, however there are some artists and groups who wish to use these spaces for art!
Thanks to sponsors and local governments, some of the firewalls have been turned into wonderful murals! Join us in this video and seek some of them out with us, and learn about them!
Below is a list of some of the Murals, their address and the group who made it:

Love This!❤️Thanks for sharing!!!!
Have your videos and I loved this one how you went to go get coffee and snacks and stuff
The vízipók-csodapók mural is right outside my balcony and that is the first thing I see every morning when I open my curtains. And I love it everytime. Thanks for another awesome video Akos ! 🤜🏾🤛🏾
The murals were one of the first things we marvelled at the first time we came to Budapest, particularly the contrast with some of the worn looking exteriors in district 7. There was even one in our hotel (the Zara on Dohány U.) which depicts an 19th century city scene. It looks like there are a lot more to find now since our last visit 5 years ago. Thanks for the video!
Im Italian and we’ve got here many incredible cities. But when I was in Budapest last August I really was impressed how much beautiful, enjoyable, and magic Budapest is. Very happy to have been here, and just counting when back. Bellissima.
Indeed there are many fabulous cities and small towns in Italy, I have a few on my bucket list to visit one day 😊 but I'm also happy to hear that you enjoyed Budapest 😊
@@StuffedCabbageAdventures it has became one of my favourite capital in Europe. As I wrote, Budapest it’s beautiful and so enjoyable even for tourists. I had impression of a city made for humans, kids, young and old ppl. A city with a lot of things to do and see. the contrast between restored buildings and old is so romantic. Really really impressed. It exceed my expectations 👍
Those a great murals! I had my much-awaited day trip to Budapest recently. It wasn't nearly enough time to do justice to Budapest and I absolutely massacred my feet walking around the city all day. Still, it was a lovely experience and I'll continue to enjoy watching your videos to see what I didn't get to experience and what I might add to the list for my next trip. 😀
Thanks, glad to hear you enjoy this type of content too! And hopefully these can also convince you for a future re-visit of the city :)
How many days did you spend? I'd love some tips! mixed skeptical and excited on my upcoming trip 😂
@@user-ew6dv6is2p Unfortunately, I was only there for the day so I'm not the best person to give any tips. I took the train there from Bratislava in the early morning and was back by 11pm. One thing I will point out is that the machines for buying public transit tickets either don't take cash/coins at all or won't accept certain denominations, probably because of change availability. I was there with my mother and she refused to use her card (or let me use my card) for anything, so we wasted a bunch of time looking for a machine that would take the forints we had. So, I guess my tips are A) don't be afraid to either use your card or actually talk to the station attendant when buying transit tickets, and B) Don't try to do Budapest in a day.
@@mandyb11 Oh i see, will keep in mind, initially plan is like 3 days then move to Bratislava but more research im thinking a week now haha. could you share how did u go to Bratislava? Itinerary is Budapest- Bratislava- Vienna , I'd love to see Croatia but due to weather as it'll be Nov idk if there'll be sun lol
@user-ew6dv6is2p My itinerary was sort of opposite that. I flew in to Vienna, took the bus (through slovak lines) to Bratislava and the train (through zssk) to Budapest.
I’m studying abroad here this semester and these videos have been super helpful for me to get a better grasp of the city and surrounding areas. Thank you so much! Keep doing what you’re doing!!

Greetings from Southport North Carolina. Love your videos. Can’t wait to visit Budapest this summer. Will definitely watch and rewatch. I’m into photography so maybe a video on places to photograph that people may overlook? Thanks Dan
Thanks, glad you enjoy the content we make 😊 there are some nice places to take pictures, few less frequented and many popular, we'll think about a compilation video for the future to give ideas 😉
