HBO Family and Starz Kids and Family were two of my childhood mainstays but I didn't visit Showtime Family as much as those two. I'm looking it up now; it's called Showtime Family Zone. I don't remember what shows they played but I did watch the Nickelodeon movies there.

This broadcast must be from February 19, 2001 because they mention that Dale Earnhart died the day before 1:16, which was February 18, 2001.

Fox 54 in Augusta, Georgia didn't until 1991 which is probably why I don't remember Piggsburg Pigs. In any case going up against TMNT seemed like a recipe for disaster.

Forgive the spam comments. I just wanted to point out that Quackers is the Bacon Brothers' pet. You know how Scooby Doo was Shaggy's pet? The inhabitants of Piggsburg have ducks and chickens like humans have cats and dogs. Also, Tara Strong was a teenager when she voiced Dotty, so naturally, she'd go by her maiden name. And you've gotta admit, Piggsburg Pigs is a better concept than Turbo Teen!

This show was a favorite of mine when I was eight years old. I still enjoy it. It isn't a bad show, but I wouldn't call it great, either. I found it interesting that it was darker and creepier than your average Funny Animal show, which is why I thought it stood out. I normally don't go for things like that, so who knows what attracted me to Piggsburg Pigs to begin with! I honestly think Fox didn't have much faith in it, considering they put it up against Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You put anything up against a juggernaut, and it's doomed. EDIT: Just wanted to add that this is pretty much normal for me. My favorite shows are more likely to be disliked by the masses, and what I don't care for is loved by the masses (for example, I love Piggsburg Pigs, but I don't care for TMNT.)

To me, that joke at 22:21 sums up why Double Dare came out as the true winner: it didn’t talk down to kids and put them on a fairly equal level with the adults on screen in terms of humor. Fun House may have been bigger and messier, but if it and DD were divorced parents, the former feels like it’s showering you with gifts to win your affection.

Child me felt annoyed and betrayed how the Killer Tomatoes movies were not really anything like the cartoon. No faces on the tomatoes, for example.

Is the vidoe image original Fox, or photoshop? My memory is hazy, but I thought FOX Carmen Sandiego was made like, almost a decade after Bobby's World aired.

Using the novel 4th network, Fox Broadcasting Company arrived in 1987, but it wasn't long until a key war against a splinter group of federal communication commission employees that gave birth to Fox Kids later Fox Family Worldwide after purchasing International Family Entertainment and merging with Saban Entertainment which the first channel would later be succeeded sooner rather than later with Jetix and then after Disney bought Jetix Europe VN it was converted into Disney Extra Dimensional meanwhile Disney Toons premiered in 1998 until 2006 when the European versions of Disney Toons became Disney Cinemagic with 2 blocks 1 on Sky Italy and other on Disney Latin America until shutting down in different ways and being succeeded by different Disney channels from Movistar to being succeeded by Disney Plus Sky then Plus again and eventually Sky New Zealand Saint Television with Sky UK.

I have no idea who sounds worse right now, knowing Charlie Van Dyke, since this recording, has had a really bad deterioration with his voice in recent years. Jeff Kaye definitely sounds bad with this recording, his years of smoking definitely caught up with him by the time this was recorded.
