In our inaugural PICK OF THE WEEK, we spotlight Two-Face Part 1 from Batman: The Animated Series, a showcase for the dearly departed Richard Moll.
Very special thanks to Pop Arena ( / poparena ) for providing the inspiration for this series. Please, check out his Nick Knacks series, it's fantastic!
When I make enough money, I'll certainly consider commissioning a review. You're doing a great job. Keep it up! Loving your series so far. 😎👍
The live-action character actor casting of the DCAU did give it a different feel and (literal) sound compared to most other cartoons of the time, though it did have the unintentional side-effect of leaving a good deal of roles that needed to be recast by the time of Justice League.
I digress, the episode looks interesting even if I've probably never seen it. Best of luck with your future videos.
Damn good tribute and analysis.
Interesting
As far as DCAU exposure, I've only seen a handful of episodes of Batman on The Hub, handful of episodes of Static Shock on Toon Disney of all places and watched ALL of Superman the Animated Series. Maybe at some point I'll binge Batman, Static and Justice League. Why has Wonder Woman never gotten her own cartoon?
Anyway, I actually watched the Night Court revival mainly because I've had a huge crush on Melissa Rauch and was hilarious on The Big Bang Theory (Young Sheldon is better, tho). The revival is surprisingly good although they are still finding their footing on some areas.
Edit: it sucks we lost this actor too soon. Would've loved to see him appear in the revival. John Larroquette (I probably spelled it wrong) is at least here and there's one other actor who made a cameo in the season finale. Haven't watched the season premiere yet, don't tell me what happens!
Glad this got sorted out!
Copyright blocks suck! :/
I hate that all representation of DID is a "stronger, evil side," but also... eh. They do something interesting with it, & at least it's not as bad as Split. I like Two Face for what he is! I just wish we had more DID rep that wasn't just Jekyll & Hyde. ... maybe I should commission Leo Luster as a pick of the week...
