Hello, and welcome to the Warbonds channel! My name is Eric, and I am thrilled that you have stopped by! My channel is small at the moment, but 98% of it is all about railroading. I started uploading videos from the 1990s when I was very young in my railroad career. Much of that footage was sitting in VHS cassettes that were stored in my basement., However, it’s been wonderful to share this footage with so many people who have found interest. I have also uploaded videos from the occasional railfan outing that I do on rare occasions.
As of late, I am starting a video podcast format, having to do with model railroading, mostly in 1” scale. I hope you will like, subscribe and stick around for what’s in store! 😁

Riding The Santa Fe Super Chief through Texas in 2024
During my trip to Texas in late April, 2024, I was privileged to visit a railroad in Central Texas called the Comanche and Indian Gap Railroad.
This particular railroad club runs 1.5 inch scale model trains, which is a little bit bigger than the 1 inch scale in which I model. Thanks to my friend Charles, he took me down there to attend the last day of their spring meet. This also gave me a chance to finally meet in person a gentleman named Danny who owns a 1.5 inch GP60M. By me reaching out to him a few years ago, this led to him talking with Charles who ended up reaching out to me. Charles has become a wonderful friend and a major influence in helping me with my project.
Danny also owns an ABBA set of
F7s that he uses to pull his beautiful Santa Fe Super Chief! What a cool experience it was for me to finally get a chance to ride a train that I have admired in videos posted on CZcams and Facebook for a few years! It is now my pleasure to be able to share this joyful experience with you, and I hope you find it as exciting as I did!

Hello everyone, it’s been about seven months since I last made a video on the work on my Santa Fe 1 inch scale GP60M locomotive. I’m very excited to bring this project back to the front burner and share with you how this project came back to the forefront, and I even share some very recent work that’s been done on it!

Hello everyone! I’m sorry it’s been a while since I put out a video. Unfortunately, between work and family, time has not been on my side to produce videos. However, I hope you’ll enjoy the content for today which is the construction of a Burlington Northern wide vision caboose. I’ve actually had to switch subjects by necessity, but I’ll explain that as you watch the video. The video is actuall...

Hello, everyone, Has your creative mind ever allowed you to start a project, but when the going gets tough you quit for a while. The hiatus could be a few weeks, a few months, or even a few years. If you can relate, I’m right there with you! This is part 1 of a boxcar build that I started a couple years ago. I ended up putting it aside due to some difficulties and loss of enthusiasm. However, a...
BNSF Rotary Snowplow In Action!

Hello everyone. Today, we take a slight break from the model railroading as I document probably what will be a once in a lifetime event for myself. Due to heavy snowfall in Nebraska, BNSF activated two rotary snowplows. Both the Lincoln, Nebraska and Alliance Nebraska rotaries were activated to clear snow from various subdivisions in Nebraska. Join us as we brave the sub zero temperatures to wi...

Hello everyone in this video I’ve changed things up from the part 1 video which was titled, Building a 1” Santa Fe 10-6 sleeper. Though the titles are different between parts 1 and 2, its still the same car that's now being constructed differently than originally planned. Instead of making a regular sleeper, I decided to go in the direction of making this a business car. It will either be const...
Building a Scratchbuilt G scale Flatcar with Combine Load

Hello everyone! Several of my viewers have commented on some of my work in G scale that I used as an example in one of my previous videos. Since this channel is primarily about model railroading and railroading in general, I figured I would do a short documentary on this project despite the fact that most of the work I do nowadays is 1 inch scale. I hope you enjoy this presentation.

Well please stick around as I give a G rated and humorous explanation with some interesting facts and entertainment as I continue this little 1" scale freight car series.
Building a Vintage 1" Scale Rock Island Caboose

In 2021 a customer approached me about building a Rock Island outside brace caboose, which was a product from the 1930s. As a modern guy, this was definitely out of my comfort zone, but in this video, I talk about how I came to build this car, I show you in-progress photos and the finished product as well as comparing and contrasting it to prototype photos. So come along with me on this journey...
Building Airliner Tails

Hello everyone, normally, this channel is all about railroading, however, I also have a lifelong secondary interest in aviation. Most everything I show on my channel revolves around building train models, however, I have made a little video to showcase my side gig, which is making airliner tails. For any other aviation enthusiast, that may be a part of my audience, I hope you enjoy the content.

Hello everyone , This is video number 9 of the series, entitled, Building A 1” Scale Santa Fe GP60M. In this video, I start doing bodywork on the cab by smoothing out the rough edges and corners, and I show you how I prepare the cab for placing a cab interior inside as well. The work may look somewhat boring, but this is the nature and reality of bodywork.

Hello everyone! Contrary to popular belief, I am still alive and projects are still being completed off my workbench. I decided to jump off of the GP60M project for a video or two in order to showcase something different. The GP60M project is still going strong, but as I have said, in other videos, there are times that I get bored, even as the content creator. Unfortunately, extensive and compl...

Making a Run To Fruitland, Iowa on IMRL Train 694 March 1999!
This is the best railroad content I’ve seen on CZcams! Please upload more of these if you have them. What ever happened to conductor Rust? The camaraderie between you two was amazing! This was such a different perspective, two people relaxing and railroading at the same time. I won’t look at another railroad video the same way now.
This is soo amazing!! Thank you so much for sharing. I instantly subbed to your channel. It’s about time we see in can action instead of so much trackside.
Wish id been out there back then. The RR definitely aint what it was back when my uncle did his 30 years. But its where im gonna be til i either retire or die since i decided this was gonna be my career before i was even in school, and refused to consider doing anything else when i had the option.
❤❤❤
Brilliant ❤️❤️❤️🙏🇮🇳🙏
I was thinking of these videos, having seen part , and just now picking back up the idea of doing 1" scale, and after an hour or so trying to find it, and finally I did, and was greeted by a whole ton of updates!
I want one! 🚂🚃🚃
Great footage
If you have anymore of the videos you recorded from back in the day would love to see more. Glad I just found your channel 🚂🔥🔥🔥🎯👍✊
Love these old school videos 🚂🔥🔥✊🎯
I knew, as commented in a previous video, that you’d enjoy meeting up with Danny. Thanks for filming it from a riding perspective.
At about 14:10 y'all just about had a jackpot with 2 non-clearing trains. Hiball!
Good video. This place is about 100 miles away from where I live.
I cant wait to visit and see your clubs setup!
Awesome video Eric! I’m sure that was fun
NICE 💯💯💯
Looks like the Super Chief got down-sized...😂 Nice setup; thanks for the ride.

Its gonna look great!
Making good progress! Your attention to detail is incredible
Eric, it’s been too long. More vids, more builds!

Great videos, like the project Gp 60. And the BN CABEESE
Definitely will be following this build. Thanks for sharing.
AWESOME video and enjoyed watching. Thank you very much for sharing and have a wonderful upcoming weekend.(Steve)
WOW! You are a true artist!
Wow, just heard you say 300 plus lbs!
Not sure about 1" scale, but in 1.5" some larger steam locomotives can easily weigh over 1 ton, it's amazing
Excellent job! How much does this thing weigh? Looks like it will be 100 plus pounds when complete.
Thanks for uploading this! Had a good chuckle especially around 12:00 about showing people what happens when you don't reset the alerter (while going up a hill) "Yeah were not going to do that" lol Sorry to hear about Jon's passing. He seemed like a great guy to be around.
Women were cool back then nowadays what he said to her would've been sexual harassment
John 15:13 “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. John 3:18 “He that believeth in Him is not condemned; but He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Eric, Super excited to see you start the new project! Look forward to continued updates!
Always look forward to your videos and the great content that you provide. Thanks for all the time and effort that you put into each session.
A BELIEVER! I love it!

AWESOME WORK. Can't wait to see finished project!
Liking the music, reminded me of Spyro Gyra, the Jazz group. Their music was a regular afternoon feature in the late 90's on what used to be the Jazz FM radio station here in London UK;
Hey Eric! Great to have you back on CZcams.

Can you interview Mike Rowe and see who sounds like each other???
Very nice! I don't envy you for pounding in the hundreds of "rivets" - I built a flat car (inch & a half scale) which used brass brads to represent rivets -- it need about the same number of "rivets" for my entire car as one side of your car. That's a lot of hammering, but the end justifies the means. I look forward to seeing your boxcar as it progresses. Your cushion underframe is very clever. This may even inspire me to build or paint a box car in a similar red ATSF paint scheme. Mostly I model SP&S which, ultimately, evolved into BNSF. I do have some Santa Fe and Burlington Northern to keep it company. And CABOOSES!
