For best possible quality I chose the flash. But over all I’d say the k1 max since it haha better build volume, better software, more reliable webcam and network (that’s driving me crazy on the flash).

Lucky us it is not cheap, very loud and has extremely limited range at high loads. People would have time to evacuate before it hits, the FBI would be on their asses as DJI sells info to them etc.

it's amazing to see that stuff using good spectran v6 - but at the same time quite complex and a lot to understand. my curiosity is still there for the spectran as a device - but modern RF is a rabbit hole ;) however I'm glad to be able to SEE RF if I need to - great diagnostic tool!

I agree, now I would probbably take a look at the Creality V3 plus (their newest bedslinger in 30x30 size) - or as I did - go for the K1 max. It's the allrounder I was looking for (decent buildvolume and OK quality, plenty of options since it's encased...)

You definitely will. I have over 100km on it and each ride is fun. Especially off-road in the woods and explore regions where I would be too lazy to hike to ;)

honestly: no ;) at least I saw it's not the one with "unicorn" nozzles. the firmware on it was from July 2023 - so maybe it was a V1?

I think it's difficult in Germany. But also here in Austria, we can only go 25kph. Else you need license plate, insurance... Worst case, police stops you an you get hefty fine. Ride it in the woods instead (which for sure is also not allowed, cause all things fun are illegal...

Sorry,I guess your a few month late for the giveaway;) So far I didn't have issues with this FC. On my old, large drone from 2014 (black snapper) I tried to revive it with speedybee FC and it crashed, maybe it was the fault of the esc? Never figured out the reason...

If you can afford the extra 130€, take the master. If you are 50-60kg or if you would just ride off-road without hills, you could go with the max. If I ride for groceries I like the max more, because of the key. Hope it helps. If you buy one please consider using my affiliate links, 🙏

That's a downside of the master, only one button to start, no key. You need a good anti theft lock... Shipping at geekbuying works fine for eu, mostly sent from Poland, Czech, or germany. No taxes or customs.

for wich part of the miniquad? for the arms? body? or just for gopromounts? I only printed TPU for the mounts on quads... So far I didnt print parts that were super rigid. I guess ASA or Nylon are quite stiff?

Hi, that's difficult for sure. Currently I'm testing the xTool S1 (40W) and it has samples. Will see how it works. On stainless steel, quite reflective, you need to apply some paint I guess. Best engraving on metal is, if it has some sort of paint coating which can be burnt away...

Thanks Adam! I guess I made this video too long and a bit too boring. Wanted to include the 2 offroad adventures with the lady. Next time I will cut such a video way shorter and maybe include a link to offroad video instead. But I totally agree, those scooters are so much fun! I will see over time how well they hold up - so far I have more than 100km on the Master and 60km now on the Max. And we demand quite a lot from the hardware ;)

nope, it should work with the usb stick you have! I guess you placed the files in the wrong directory. if you follow the guide, it's important to have the files in the dir "mainsail" (mind small / large letters) double check this...

@@Kcb_creations if you pay attention to the guide you see that you are supposed to move those 2 files not to the root but in the folder mainsail. Only then the Linux copy command will be correct. If they are in the root folder, you need to shorten the copy command… Just watch it again and it should be clear I guess….

haha, I also didn't see much laser - but then realized, these options are off per default ;) check in the settings, under camera, there are some LIDAR options (I have a screenshot in this video) but what I see from other reviews at least a few months ago it looked pretty half baked. Especially the motion advance calibration (where it prints a zig zag pattern and measures this with the lidar) is not really beneficial for print quality.

Yes, the screen works exactly as before. The only difference I guess is that he doesn't tell me each step (wipe nozzle, levelling,...) in detail.

Printed the orca vfa test today: from 80-300 in 20mm steps: Severe at 180mm/sec on 60degree 80,100mm on most directions On error on 300mm at 45 degree Overall quite nice results considering the speeds. More vfa to be seen on low speeds.

Thanks for the nice comment I also thought that ke is a bit weak for mainsail ... I think if you want to use pi as controller, you need to connect the printer via USB. That's what I did with the older ender 3s1pro, and a laptop.

@@Rcschim thanks a lot for the input. I will give USB a try tomorrow (it makes sense!) and will leave the update here for others. I have few crashes, especially when connecting remotely with octoeverywhere. In local it is kind of stable.

@Rcschim btw, did a bit of research on what was causing the crashes, and it appears that the OctoEverywhere plugin is consuming a lot of resources, especially when the camera is on. So I uninstalled everything not necessary to run Mainsail, and since then, it's been smooth sailing. I use the Creality Cloud (crap) app as a backup to check the camera (still uses resources but way less) and connect to a local PC using Splashtop to check Mainsail if necessary. Just leaving that info here to help others.
