Onboard ADC on the PDB: my Amp scale doesn't work, so I don't see MAH consumption while flying... (maybe I damaged it with excessive heat with my soldering?)
Esc telemetry is not supported by those ESCs
Will update this after Gal Kremer posted his review (to see if he has the same issue).
DJI O3: you need the 30 cm O3 cable!! (or at least the 20 cm one that I used here)
Watch out to use the right lenght on screws for the frame!

Great use of 3rd-person video perspective like at 0:40. Great way to show of the Aura10 in it's natural environment.
The question I had most of the video was why 10" vs. 7". Thanks for nice answer at 11:45. Typically I'm in the use just a big enough tool to get the job done camp, not the biggest, or most powerful tool camp. Thanks for the nice detail review.

Hehe, this is a big beast. But with the large props it's quite silent. Was able to fly it yesterday, had to try new props (HQ ones, instead of the cheap Dalprops that originally came with the copter). Biggest issue I have on the large quad, it has Jello when I throttle down... Looks like the new props worked a bit better.
I prefer the HQ Props to the Dalprops on my 7" too. Could the jello upon throttle down be a tuning issue? I'm sure you've already checked that all motor bolts are tight and ALL fasteners on the quad for that matter. I'm sure you have more quad building and tuning experience than I do so I doubt if I can make any suggestions that you haven't already explored... I hope you get it sorted. Happy flying amigo. 🍻
I love Foxeer! I just ordered this exact power system for use in a 9" GepRC Pulsar on 8S. I'd say your wire gauge is slightly overkill...probably only need 14ga at most to the escs and 12ga to the batteries....

In my experience, 10" is the best bang for buck for long range. You can strap on 2 big lipos and easily get 30+ minutes of flight. Or strap on a massive li-ion pack and go forever 😅
and do you use different PIDs if you have different battery weights? or are those quite forgiving in that size and weight category?

what a beasty, the real question is how many beers can it pick up from the shops?
Pure speculation, but it states somewhere it can lift 3kg, that's close to 5 bottles of beer ;) will have to try that, but imagine the tragedy if we waste that beer while trying ;)
Nice review. 👍 Big quads are a dream. I would like to build it and fly it but I don't really have the money and proper use.
Pretty cool unless you are a backpacker..... many enjoyable long range flying spots near me you can only get to by hiking, not driving, under that circumstance I wouldn't tolerate anything over 6 inch.
I agree, it's not nice to carry this on your back. Maybe if you take off the props, but even then it's large and heavy... that's why I prefer car accessible mountain spots ;)
My AOS 7 fits in my backpack with props on, and it's only a 23 litre one. I get your point about 10" though.
They need to release a Mega 10'' version to get rid of the frame in the FPV camera.

Ok so the aura 10" frame showed up. Still waiting on more parts.
I got a 150mm cable not relativo that's stock length and way too short. So i prefere a 200mm. Now that frame is here. It mais really close. So i just searched found a 300mm and ordering. Hopefully gets here
I have a 12aH 6s li-ion um turn into 18aH 6s for this drone i think.
Also upgrade energy dark lithium has P45B and 50S li-ion packs think 13.5aH & 15aH. I want to see about a 18aH & 20aH li-ion pack

hi, been actually flying this yesterday up to a mountain. not a long endurance flight, but actual dives (3 of them) so wasting a lot of battery. been flying 15mins with enough left in the 8000mah lion pack. on another flight (not so much alt) I got 18mins wit 6800mah used. so 20+ mins should be realistic witch calm flights, no payload.
I think about getting an 5000 or 6000mah LIPO for a bit more punch and I don't need extra long flighttimes...

@@RcschimI'm trying to find HQ 10x4.5x3 props. Thrust testing showing it's a lil more efficient.
1330g thrust difference in amps on 5S 13.3 vs 15.7amps
(He didn't run this motor on 6S)
3115 motor 1185g thrust 6s was 10.4a vs 12.1a
HQ prop is heavier but guess that tiny difference in pitch helps alot

@@dynashot1 I gotta make a negative review about Insta360 again to gain their attention and then they will send me the x4 next time ;)
X3 only has minor upgrades on video, massive MP upgrade on still fotos (which I dont care for)
I also fly 10 inches, with 6s3p battery that can carry a lot of payloads :) Also, sometimes those big props are unbalanced maybe that is the reason why it shake
which cells? I use on my 10 inch quad 6s2p 10000mah Samsung 21700 50s cells. 27 min flight time and 26 km travel distance
@chrismeyers9248 , because of payload it is 45A molicell, Samsung has fewer amps, weighs a little more and is more expensive, therefore, it is molicell, but it is molicell and 3p only because of 3kg payload.

Aura 10 was difficult - but now i flies kinda nice. The only thing I cant get rid of is JELLO - especially on mid to low throttle you always get huge shakes on the 10"ers.
I tried 3 different set's of props as well (Dalprop that came with it, HQ Macroquad and the Gemfan Macroquad 10" props that are used on the HELION from iflight).
No prop really worked well.
Gopro 11mini cannot hypersmooth the jello away.
O3 looks a bit better.
@@Rcschim like to see ur tune. I just started tuning. I did one pack. Started at uavtech preset which was way way too low. I had to bump master slider up alot. I'm P-D balancing right now. Then I'll bump master more. I took yaw off slider and double P on that. I'll have to test again later today.

Did you get yours flying ok? I'm having issues with vibrations with mine. Albeit I'm using 3115 1050kv motors
@@bentoogood I got it flying alot better on Betaflight 4.4 but then something weird happened out the blue with bad oscillation like prop wash at low throttle but would even do on ground if lift rear. I put INAV in it stopped. Not sure if im stay on INAV or go back to betaflight 4.5

Hi, I'm not really happy with the tune yet, but in the past weeks I didn't fly at all (tuning aint fun when it's cold).
You can look at my settings here: urlc.net/vaZB (but they are far from perfect - also there are jello issues - I've just taken the nicer scenes here from the insta360 x2. I'm still waiting for Gal Kremer to upload his video and see what settings he came up with...
Props are Dalprop that came with the set, don't have different ones yet. On 7" I had very good results with the HQ Prop v1s type. they were good against jello! Antennas: TrueRC Singularity (with pigtails inside)
i like this one has slightly bigger motors and on specs repports way more thrust than iflight helion.. just need me a 16aH to 24aH battery lmao
and thinking foxeer 5w vtx analog
bought an iflight fullsend 5200mah lipo now for it. weighs 800g and should have more punch than the 900g 8000mah LiIon. will see.
still struggle to remove the jello totally tho. but it's a nice beast - and it's really quiet with those large props. efficient as well (for it's size and weight)
@@RcschimI ended up ordering o3 for it. Tempted for the 10w analog but just really wanted decent video. And moonlight been out of stock for awhile.
@@Rcschim I spent 2 days balancing props. Very out of balance. HQ 10x4.5x3 wasn't as bad but still out of balance a decent amount.
