FPV Meet #5/2023 - this WAS the perfect spot to fly

- This is (was) probbably the best spot to fly together. It's a bit close to houses and locals are not happy about the aerial traffic - so we now abandoned this spot (I had to make a promise).
Flying the Dolphin in formation with Luigis Swordfish was really epic! Thorsten really tried hard to chase us with a drone - but the smaller 4" drone was too slow. Next time he will get out the big toy rather ;)
Let's hope for some more flyable days in this season - It's always great to meet likeminded people.

what an amazing day, this looked like so much fun, fantastic edit too. i'm so jelly of your weather, the scottish weather report for the past two weeks has been somebody appearing beside a map, looking at it, then looking into cam, and saying ''naaaahhhh''

Such a amazing scenic location Recognize the location from an earlier video, but the colours and lighting this day are make it seem more special. Really like the opening, particularly that well edited cinematic transition 0:30-0:59. Excellent video and entertaining edit with a good story.
BTW: The first plane was an ZOHD/Eachine Razor, now a collectors item. (1:28)
Thanks! The air3, whilst a bit boring to fly, is an excellent flying cam! Makes it easy to capture some broll. Many days of nice weather here almost too little time to sit at the computer for editing;) but I will not complain about this ;)
@@Rcschim Air3 is right tool for the task. Fly when can, edit later. No complaints if video like this is delayed ... even if till fall, or winter. :) I definitely will revisit this one in a couple months.

We could make something like this on our local flight field, as we already did a few times. Next thing there will be the sturmfliegen on 14. Oct. Let's just hope for good weather!

Whats a good fpv wing that jas detachable wings and fits in my backpack ?
My friends tell me the Hee Wing T1 Ranger is exactly that! Small but sturdy, detachable wings, can also go medium to longrange... I will see if I get one for review...
I wonder what the locals will think if some other group takes over this spot when you abandon it, and do much more intrusive activities, like riding motorbikes, dealing drugs, or so. Then they wish you'd still be there
I don't think drugs are a big deal here ;) maybe some relaxed pot smokers and bongo drums up there. Motorbikes have a real good route to ride not far from this spot (into the hells Valley left of the mountain we flew up there)
I got plenty other spots and actively try to get permission from as many locals as possible beforehand. Thanks and greets, Mario
@@Rcschim My comment was more intended as a joke, although it does happen that when a neighbourhood deems a certain group of hobbyists as undesirable, they get a different group taking up that spot, and one that causes way more trouble than the group they wanted to see move to a different location. But I guess that isn't the case here and the locals are safe, for now...
