I just added chapters to the video. Now it's easier to view what the video consists of or skip to a specific section. Soon there will be new video dedicated to the 3D printed version of this aircraft. See you soon!
Really appreciate the video of this, not enough designers do this. It's great to understand the design philosophy and flight performance of a model.
Well done. I look forward to seeing the 3D printed version
Samolot prezentuje się świetnie, widać że ktoś nie żałuje kapitału na swoje dzieła 😁
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Hope your weekend was great, our weather is finally warming up to be nicer flying weather. Have a great week.👍👍👍💯💯💯
Great build. Congrats.
Came for the wing build and stayed for the foam cutter video. Would be great to have chapter markers in the videos.
You're right, I just added chapters to the video
I'll reapect the language change on the channel. Great video, waiting for the next one!
mega materiał !
Amazing!
You're brilliant mate thank you!
Good job I love it
Nice design flies great. Glad the hot wire software worked well. I'm learning XFLR5 a challenge for an old man like me but I think I'm getting there. Would be great to see a more in-depth video of XFRL5 and how you calculated the centre of gravity👌
ganz große klasse, super
Are you planning add to shop foam kit? Would be great
Verry nice 🎉
Very nice! Link is broken, page not found
can you please share the dxf drawings?
Lovely project and thanks for sharing but I worry that all the small FPV Nanogoblin style drives have forgotten all their basic aerdynamics ce lectures : drag is proportional to frontal area so the thinnest strongest walls should be used on the fuselage. Expanded polystyrene is not smooth like a sailplane surface
i mean this is basically strix nano goblin, those fly so well and so efficient definitely one of the best rc planes for long range
Yea that’s what I’m thinking first thought i don’t see how he creating something that’s already been perfected ready made rc has these for sale ready to go $100
@@skyforce1983 yup and lets face it.. foam is 10 times better than 3d print and who’s gonna cut their own foam especially when the kit is so affordable
did you ever make the model available to buy ?
Awesome. Remembers me a little bit of the Strix Nano Goblin.
If it's about wing design (lift vs stability), maybe the Nasa Prandlt D wing could be interesting (free profile DL on the Nasa-Homepage). But I guess nobody scaled it down yet (and kept respecting the theory behind it).
eclipson-airplanes have a Prandtl wing in their 3dprintable airplane collection.
the Cm for the pw75 is around zero up to 10 degrees...surely optimal in terms of tailless considerations , yes...
Really cool plane, are there plans for this?
Hello, I liked the model very much. I follow you from Turkey. I could not access the dxf drawings. The site gives an error. Can you share the dxf drawings, thank you
realy nice OSD set up! what Font did u use?
Muy bueno felicitaciones, tienes los gcode para la cortadora de espuma? ya que los stl para imprimir en 3da ya te los compre!! gracias!!1
Great video. Would it be possible to scale this up to human carrying size? I see canards but not planks, wondering if there’s some reason for that.
The Link to the DXF files does give me a 404 error. 😞
hey hi the planes is great, where can i find the design files for the foam version
Where do you buy epp foam ?
I like to see how you make a fuselage. any video how you make it?
It is shown how I cut it out. I cut the top view from the epp block and then the side view. Then I hand rounded the edges and sanded. Also, I hand-cut the hatch and the equipment space inside fuselage. Unfortunately, I did not record all of this
Dude - great video but you need a pop screen for your mic or a 75hz high pass - my subwoofer just kicked a hole in the wall.
404 not found your link, man. Where can i find drawings?
Is this possible with foam boards?
just sad that the s4020 sucks at Lift, hmmm? which is not an issu with such a toy, but interetsing how useless all those fancy looking stuff is in comparison to a simple plank! 👍nicely done and explained, thanks a lot!
What kind of VTX do you use ?
Walksnail, as shown in the video
What is the diiference between ground speed and air speed ?
Ground speed is speed relative to the ground, and airspeed is speed relative to the air. In this aircraft, airspeed is only a value estimated by the flight controller because there is no pitot tube here
wind is the difference :)
which FPV hardware did you use?
Walksnail, as shown in the video
@@FLIGHTORY did not notice, thanks for the reply!!!
Looks professionally made! Btw your link to the plans is not working.
Whats the stall speed?
Below 25 km/h
@FLIGHTORY so in theory you could handlaunch and catch it?
What's the weight of the 3d printed version?
@@amoswolfe7122 Yes, you can try to catch it because the approaches are slow. I don't know yet what the weight of the printed version will be, but the print itself should weight about 120g, so I guess whole plane around 310-320g
in terms of Reynold numbers the surface is horribly rough, ...and the method surely beyond inconcrete i terms ofkeasurements, but far better than any sagging laminate or fabric between ribs...🤔nice stuff you use there, i.d just give the surface some very thin cover that does not sheink during curing, and use a better airfoil in term sof Cl , ..the Naca told some 70 yrs ago that tailless configurations always tilt the trailing edge contol surfaces upwards to compensate for the Cm. so basically the same rsults possibly as with the pw75,...
that basically leads to the question why we don,t use squares...a pancake with 3,6 m span is a biplane with 5,40 span and a high AR with 7,2-11 m ...depending how high you ho, but the square would just be around 2,5 m 👍🤣only issue is stability as it is so narrow that any small disbalance counts!
I'm sure this contains some positive feedback, but I'm getting a seizure trying to read it 🙈
