    just a question, does the nose of your Stingray wing partially obstruct the view of the fpv camera?

    What size of print bed would this plane need? Would it print on a Prusa Mini?

    Hi, first of all good job and nice work. But i got one concern, what about the thin Layers of PLA on the wings if the sun ist shining and its a lil hotter?
    I mean PLA deforms quite fast in the sun.

      @mrantssfpv Před rokem +1

      If it’s heat you’re worried about go fast, the airflow the wing experiences is far more efficient at cooling than most cooling systems.

      you should've been more concerned about the ESC heating instead of the sun. But like all flying things go, they experience good cooling. That's why ESCs for flying stuffs can go rated up to 50A without ever coming with a heatsink and 4 of them in a board, and if you look at ground crawlers ESC they all come with some cooling even with the smaller amp rated ones. Looking at this guy's design, there's a whole lot of ducting going on so you don't have to worry about internals heating up either.

    What size printer you need to make this? Interested to buy if I can easily make it with 200mm x 200mm x 200mm printer capability.

    • @FLIGHTORY
      @FLIGHTORY  Před měsícem

      At least 220x220x240mm but you can do it with your printer as well. Most elements can be printed; it might be necessary to split one of the wing segments into two pieces.

    When you land that plane do you have to replace parts?

    • @abhijithsaimandava8574
      @abhijithsaimandava8574 Před 3 měsíci +1

      You've got to replace the skateboard if you land bad. Same for 3d printed planes.
