The passion of aviation has been with me since childchood, and it began with RC modeling. I'm aerospace engineer and I'm currently developing as a constructor of UAVs. Flightory is my attempt to share this passion and present it from my perspective. What size printer you need to make this? Interested to buy if I can easily make it with 200mm x 200mm x 200mm printer capability.
At least 220x220x240mm but you can do it with your printer as well. Most elements can be printed; it might be necessary to split one of the wing segments into two pieces.
Can this be done with 200mm x 200mm x 200mm printing capability?
Yes there are option for split parts in half. If you have 250x250mm you can print non split parts

And don’t forget to read up on the regulations on flying UAVs in your country. Might get hairy if you happens to collide with a manned airplane. Both for the passengers and crew onboard the airplane and your ass in court!

@@Omnipotent.72 It depends on what kind of RC link you have. With ELRS, you can even reach over 100 km.

What flight controller can be used for this vtol
@ashwin_fpv8200 Take a look at Matek 405-VTOL. That said, I'm building a similar tricopter VTOL using a MATEK 743.
Would it be better to mount 1x stubby DVR antenna below the aircraft for better video signal for long distance?

When you land that plane do you have to replace parts?
You've got to replace the skateboard if you land bad. Same for 3d printed planes.
