Do you plan on installing the weldtec lift yourself when you get it? I'm looking into one also but don't want to pay the 3500 for installation.
@@neptunepoolsserviceandrepa2529 Yes of course I will install it myself but still saving up the funds. So far the 2” inches is working out for me. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
With turf tires I don't think there is room for me to reach in from behind the way you did. It would be great to have two hands in there, though. Nice video using the loader. I use a chain and the arms of the auto shop lift for the same purpose. Be sure to use hooks, not a knot, as a knot can come undone and drop the tractor.
@@rodcros After you get the deck on maybe you can back up on some wood boards to get the tractor higher. Just an idea 💡 thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
@@MJADoingStuff This morning I reassembled the deck and installed it quite easily, thanks to the car hoist lifting the front of the B7510 on a chain, and especially because you provided the hint that I can use both hands on that devilish PTO hookup if I crawl in from behind. I'll be taking the deck off for maintenance much more frequently now.
Wow! Great job! Very impressive

Put the magnet in a plastic ziploc bag and you won't have metal shavings stuck in your "sock rag".
Great idea 💡 Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
OK, I am not sure that I understand what the concern is, as I don't see how the pins can fall through the hole. They have the cable attached for one thing. So what if the pin is moving side to side. I am all for simplicity, and I think your original idea is the best. You don't have to buy any washers, and you don't have to get your welder out IF YOU OWN ONE! Ross's idea is OK, and maybe fancier looking, BUT, does it do anything different than your original? And for what it is worth, I saw some Box Blade indexing pins on Amazon, and they DID NOT have any washers on them! They looked like your original ones too.
I did not have a problem with the pins and no washer falling in the whole just thought Ross had a good idea and tried it. And wanted to show that you can use different things to accomplish the same thing. Have a great week 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Great idea! I will be doing this for sure!!!
Thanks this was one of the best things I did to save time. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I have overheated engine, can the block itself go bad or not?
It depends how hot. But yes you would have to check if it cracked the block. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I think you need another pallet fork for the front with another IBC Tote. But could you put enough in it to counter the back and still lift it? Could wind up with too much total weight on the tractor, but you could get a lot of watering done in fewer trips!
I think you got a great point. I will try that. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
A great trick! I've been diagnosed with a chronic neck issue, we are trying to come up with work-arounds. I'll get me one.

Very nice find Mitch. I'm sure you will create more projects for us to watch. I can't wait!!! Was it my imagination or was your chuck turning backwards in this video ??? Dan 😊

Hey MJA - I like Mikes channel too and he's inspired many projects for me. You too bud. A question and a comment about something you might wanna try. I notice Mike used a 6" deep steam tray. You used a 4" deep tray. Does that seem deep enough that the last from your plasma torch has NO chance of water getting splashed back on the torch tip? That was my fear with 4" pans? You sure don't want any water to spash onto your torch. Ouch. Last I found a great way to collect those chips and shards from the Evolution chop saws and ports band saw tables. Use a magnet inside a plastic bag or latex glove. Pull bag or glove off magnet inside out to dump chips w/o getting them on the magnet. For a more elegant, but more $$, put a mag switch magnet on the bag or rubber glove. Then just turn it on or off. I'm very interested in whether your getting any smash back with only 4" deep water pan.
Great Idea about the magnet 🧲. I have not noticed any difference in how the torch works. I do think a deep pan would be better. But I do most of my cutting outside. I only use the small water table for quick cuts. Thanks for watching and the feedback. 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Hey man I just want to say this video was a life saver. I bought a 2007 honda pilot on Facebook marketplace at market value with a blown head gasket etc. i decided to not spend the 3500-4000 bucks with a mechanic and decided to watch your two videos to solve the problem myself. So thank you 🤙🏼
You’re welcome😁👍 Thanks for the kind words. My 2005 has been running great ever since the repair. It is my daily driver and a great all around vehicle. Thanks for watching both videos 🚜💨☀️
I also overheated engine replaced the front gasket of the head but it still does not run smoothly I will change the second one I want to ask the engine block and can suffer or not?
@@bogdantoysreviem7193 Maybe do a compression test before you take it apart to see what cylinder is having problems. Just a thought 😁👍
At what point did you remove the front motor mount I've been trying to figure out a quick and safe way to do that. I'm talking about the mount that is below the power stearing pump.
11:50 is when I removed the passenger side engine mount. Hope this helps and thanks for watching😁👍🚜💨☀️
Great explanation. I’ll be taking it to the tractor shop for install. lol.
Yep it’s a lot of work but it does end up teaching you how the system works in case it malfunctions in the future. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
5:00 oh brother..... just take the power steering pump off, its 2 bolts, and then take off the bolt for the knock sensor..... its also not hard to get the runner off once you do that And once the front runner is off, you have full access to that knock sensor anyway
03+ honda Js are all pretty much the same...
😂👍 I know now learn the hard way is my way of living. Thank for letting me know and watching. 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Thanks for demonstrating the pole saw attachment. I have been looking for someone to use that attachment with the bar not vertical and you did just that. I will probably have a look at the kombi system.
I have used it a lot around the property. It nice because it is easy to transport on a ATV or fit in a car 🚗 trunk or tractor 🚜. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I picked up a set of these a few years ago and use them like you do to install the 37” tires on my Jeep. At about 95 lbs per tire/wheel combo they do get cumbersome trying to install them the traditional way. These dollies make the tire swap laughably easy for this 60 year old man.
Great minds think alike!!! That is awesome we got to save the back for the fun stuff. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I just bought one today for the same reason. I'm right at the same weight with 265/70/18 E load-rated tires and I'm just a couple of years younger than you.
Hi MJA. I have the same tractor and belly Mower and my deck falls at times when mowing. Example I set cutting dial to 4 and after a few minutes going over some bumps the deck falls to 3 then 2 etc. I see at minute 5:59 your hydraulic 3 point lever is set to approx #6. I thought to set the cutting height you fully raise the hydraulics, then use the grass cutting height knob to set the cutting height (example 3 or 4 on the dial between your legs) then fully lower the hydraulics to the lowest positin? Am I doing this, Wrong? Is my deck slipping down since all the weight is on the cutting knob cam and your holding up your deck weight using the hydraulics? When you mow what is the cutting height knob set to and the hydraulic lever set to? Thanks Im going crazy trying to mow successfully with this brand new tractor
I have it at 6 on the 3 point lever so if I back up on the slopes the 3 point doesn’t dig into the ground. I set the nob at 3-4 depending on the weather. I would call the dealer about your mow deck not staying in the position you chose. I think when they put it on the trailer and drove it to deliver the tractor they didn’t have the mow deck down on the trailer deck so it bent the nob shaft or something when it hit a pit hole. Should be fixed under warranty. Good luck and thanks for watching. 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Yout mirror sticks out farther than your saw would.
That is true but I take them off when I go into the woods. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Great video. Love the humorous bits. Way to go the extra yard to show that switch engaging from below.
Thanks I appreciate you leaving a great comment . 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Great video's ! Watched them both. Did you put a new head on or find a used one ?
I had to find a used repairable one and went ahead and had both heads pressure tested and the valves redone with new valve stem seals. They came back from the machine shop looking like new. Thanks for watching both videos 😁👍🚜💨☀️
@@MJADoingStuff Thanks for the head's up. Looking at 2008 Pilot right now that has an overheating problem. Either a bad head gasket or a bad head. I can handle the head gasket(s) job , but if I have to find heads for it then it's not worth the investment for me.
Super helpful! Question? would you know where the Ass'y Safety Control unit module is located on a DK 4210? (I already looked under the seat) Thanks
Sorry but no I only have experience with the B2601. Have you checked under the hood? Good luck Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I don't use grease on the auto-connect. I think over time that would attract dust, grass clippings etc and cause more trouble than good. I do however spray the male connector with some silicone from time to time for a bit of "lube".
Thanks for sharing your experience. On my Kubota I use grease and every season I have to clean it off to make it easier to put on the PTO shaft. It gets messy Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Thank you
You’re welcome 😁👍🚜💨☀️Thanks for watching!
Worked great even for a large tractor tire!!! Thanks !!!
That is awesome!!! Saving backs one day at a time 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Great video! Shows everyone some of the pita's they will run into. Your comment in the beginning was off putting. I've been a tech for a long time now and have many customers who bring their vehicles to me for service. A few of my customers are tradesmen and even though I consider myself a jack of all trades, my specialty being auto repair, often times I will call on them if I need anything beyond something simple like a switch or a faucet . My point being is that I trust they will do their job better than I would and not cut any corners. Also, It keeps me from having to research the internet's consensus on the "right way" to do a specific job. Plus it's a good thing to patronize each other's business. That statement also makes me wonder what it is you do for a living because, as they say, the people who are quick to point out others shortcomings usually do so in order to hide their own. Maybe you had some concrete done by the lowest bidder that was a bad experience? You seem like a decent dude so I may be wrong
Thanks! In response to the off putting comment. Yes I have had over the years had bad experiences with business that will take the easy way and quick to take your money. So I may be a little biased unfortunately. Up here in Minnesota in my opinion they charge way too much and take advantage of people. If it offends you I apologize. Just wanted to show my project and how it turned out. Have a great Mother’s Day 😁👍🚜💨☀️
@@MJADoingStuff I can see where that can be frustrating for sure. I’ve only been to a shop once in my life for anything but tires so I can’t say I’ve had many bad experiences.
I have a B2601 as well and I was considering an IBC tote on 3 point forks for watering my trees but my land is hilly and your front end definitely looked light with 100 gallons, would make me nervous on my hills. Have you tried pallet forks on the FEL? Are you able to carry any more weight that way?
In my opinion if I had a bucket of dirt for front ballast it would have been better. On the FEL I feel it sticks out to far and going down a hill would be sketchy. But you never know until you try it. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Dude, you moved a 2500lb concrete block with your tractor, why didn't you use that to lift/load the shed instead of the jack?
I wish the B2601 could lift 2500 pounds 😂 the loader is only rated for 950 lbs and I think the shed weighs 2000 lbs at least. I did try to lift and drag it but couldn’t get it off the ground. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Nice video. You got to the point. I didn't have to listen to some irrelevant story about how you use your tractor.
Thanks 😁 I sometimes get it right 😂 thanks for the feedback and watching. 🚜💨☀️
Nice video! I'm doing a 2003 Pilot. Looks like you are an electrician... I have 3 sets of those same blue handled Klein dikes. They are practically indestructible! Sub'd!
Thanks. I would consider myself a jack of all trades. I have done many main and sub panels in my time. All passed inspection. I am a believer of having the right tools for the job. And your right about the Klein dikes they’re awesome. Thanks for subscribing and watching. Have a great day 😁👍🚜💨☀️.
What tire pressures do you recommend when mowing with the front loader off?
I always run 22 psi front 10 psi rear year round works great for sandy soil and snow. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Thanks MJA. Your channel is very informative. My new bB2601 cutting height dial moves at times when mowing from 4 to 3.5 etc. I'm currently at 25 rear psi. I'll try reducing rear psi to minimize some deck bouncing which may hold the cutting dial cam in more securely.
@@user-bx3gy5di9g That is an interesting issue with the mow deck dial movement. I will look at mine and see if I can figure out what could be causing that. Thanks for the info and idea for a solution in a future video if I can figure it out 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Just realized you r14s are 4 ply. My 2024 model b2601 are 6 ply tires. So my psi rating in the years are 40 psi max 2760 lbs. Your Rears are 25 max psi. . My fronts are 34 max 1230lbs rated . Your fronts are 22 psi max.
@@user-bx3gy5di9g very interesting 🤔 I wonder why? Must be a supply thing. Well at least your tires are strong 💪.
