Vevor are our favorite overseas company to buy tools from, we have always found them to be good. I think you are right, swapping the zip ties to something thicker would be the way to go
I am happy with there product too. I think 🤔 I’m going to add metal tarp grommets it’s a easy fix. Thanks for checking out the video Joseph. I have a question what brand of old lathe is good to purchase I am looking at a 1947 Leblond regal 15x30 1HP and every thing is working but it only goes to 1000 rpm is that high enough for metal work? Any thoughts would be helpful😁👍🚜💨🍳

That's cool Mitch. I've never seen one of those before. It looks plastic so I just assumed that it's purpose was to protect the eyes of folks not wearing a helmet that glance over while you were welding. Is it a strong enough material that it could actually block welding splatter without melting? Either way, looks like a nice thing to have around the shop!
Hey Chris Thanks for checking out the video. It is made out of flame 🔥 resistant vinyl and blocks UV light. I have been using it a lot lately and seems to work at blocking spatter because it bounces off it with no visible damage. I guess if it was on the ground it might melt if a hot bb stayed in one place long enough. So far so good only time will tell. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳

Nice screen! Is a shop really ever clean and organized? lol Is that screen spark resistant? I need a screen that oi can set up to catch sparks when I'm grinding. Take care!
I have been welding and grinding a lot lately and use it to block the sparks. It seems to be holding up. I also like how it contains the metal dust on the side I am grinding on. Hope that helps Have a great week Justin 😁👍🚜💨🍳

Is that vinyl actually fire resistant? Looks like it's intended to be more of a vision protection screen for bystanders.
