    Good advice to load from the left. I’ve been wacked a few times using my WC68 and always on the right. Also agree with the Dewalt battery saw for easily removing side branches. Enjoying your videos. Keep them coming.

    Looking good, Mitch! Glad to see you back and healthy. Good advice about cleaning out the leaves with a non-leafy branch. I had a lot of wet leaves in my last outing and it eventually clogged the shoot. Take care my friend!

    Good tip on clearing the chute. I do that too but we have a tremendous amount of spruce and fir to get rid of that jam the chipper no matter what I do even with the strike plate adjusted properly. My solution is to cut off the needle heavy tops and do a quick sweep of the needle heavy branches and throw them into a separate pile. Later on, I’ll run over that pile with my bush hog and quickly grind them to near nothing.

      Thanks 😁Yeah spruce and pine needles are the worst. I like your idea of using the brush hog👍Thanks for watching and have a great Sunday 😁👍🚜💨🍳

    What do you do with the chips once they're in that container? How do you spread them/get them out? I imagine it would get heavy fairly quickly.
    My plan is to recycle the chips onto my trails in the woods but I haven't come up with a good way to store/move/spread yet. I have a Ranger with a dump bed but it's pretty small.

    • @MJADoingStuff
      @MJADoingStuff  Před 10 měsíci

      I used the chips in the video for the garden and used the door on the side of the IBC Tote to dump it out with the pallet forks. Normally I use them on the trail. Thanks for asking Have a great week 😁👍🚜💨🍳
