Drones are super handy to have. Not just for getting cool shots but also property surveying. Anytime I hear equipment running behind me I send mine up to make sure nobody’s cutting my trees down. 😅

for tracking a tractor, use active track and then draw the box around yourself on the tractor. I have had the same issue. The roll bar will get it confused, so try and have it on the side or in front of you.

I have the Mini 2 Air and I learned the same lesson about the lack of an on-board mic on the drone! Oh well, guess that's what music tracks are for!

It sure is.😁 I have been playing with different way to trick it into following the tractor but it only works for a short period of time. I am hoping for a future firmware update that will fix it. Thanks for checking out the video😁👍🚜💨🍳

That is a beautiful property! And hill cranes are really pretty birds. At the state park by our house there were a couple there that were used to people and would basically walk right up to you. It was pretty cool. I look forward to seeing all the cool footage you guys get with the drone. Great stuff!

I had a Mavic Pro Platinum that one of my dogs absolutely hated. I had to put him up whenever I flew it or he'd try to kill it (and you can imagine what the props might do to a dog nose if they ever hit). Ended up putting it in a tree, then it got stolen (long story involving some contract labor). Replaced it with a Mini 2, and it's pretty good. The 3 looks much nicer.
I am happy with it much easier to fly then I thought. One of our dogs try’s to hide when she hears the beeps at start up but is fine once I fly off. I hope I don’t hit a trees.😂Thanks for checking out the video and leaving a comment 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Hey Mitch, I have the Mavic Air2 and same thing, won't really track the tractor 🤷♂... Also I like your controller, I have the standard one but thought about getting the one you have. Have a good weekend.
Morning Andrew thanks for letting me know I was thinking 🤔 I should have got the Mavic Air 2 because it may work with the tractor tracking better. I like the RC controller because I still use my phone to get footage. You have to great weekend too 😁👍🚜💨🍳

nice shots. how is the battery life?
Regular battery is used up fast but the extended battery’s that come in the fly more package last a lot longer. I have not measured the time but if I fly in Sport or FPV mode it uses up the batteries quickly. 😁👍🚜💨🍳 Hope you are having a great Labor Day weekend.
@@MJADoingStuff , I flew my drone again today . 3 flights for a total of just under 10 minutes and it was running out of battery life. The batteries were not at 100% charge, but they were low 90’s- high 80’s range. I think this cold damp weather really shortens the battery life
