Thanks for those grass clippings cough cough 😳🤣…great job helping out a buddy Mitch 👍🏻. Have a great one 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
I love the smell of fresh cut grass don’t you😂 I enjoy tractor stuff even if it’s not orange 🍊 Thanks for checking out the video and you have a great one too😁👍🚜💨🍳🙋🏻♂️
This was SO HELPFUL! Thank you! I wish you were my neighbor.
Your welcome 😁 glad it was helpful. Happy mowing. 🚜💨🍳
Tractor Time with Mitch did a great job getting the green machine mowing again 😀
HA! 🤣👍Yep and it still works! Thanks for checking out the video 🚜💨🍳
Good evening Sir, Sorry but I'm a firm believer about greasing PTO connection or oiling it to avoid rust 👌👍🧐 Keep up your OUTSTANDING Work Sir Cheers 🍻🍻
I like to grease everything to but for some weird reasons I have heard from other channels that they say not to and my neighbor said the same so we didn’t grease the auto correct part. Thanks for checking out the video and leaving a comment. Have a good week 😁👍🚜💨🍳
I don't use grease on the auto-connect. I think over time that would attract dust, grass clippings etc and cause more trouble than good. I do however spray the male connector with some silicone from time to time for a bit of "lube".
Thanks for sharing your experience. On my Kubota I use grease and every season I have to clean it off to make it easier to put on the PTO shaft. It gets messy Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Nice video Mitch and it's good seeing you in front of the camera again.
Thanks Mike😁👍 I will be putting out more content soon. Still pretty busy finishing and setting up the pole barn/shop. Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Sometimes it's a simple little thing that causes problems. Thanks for sharing. - Rick
Yep 👍 I noticed that as I get older I tend to overthink things 😂Thanks for checking out the video Have a great week😁👍🚜💨🍳
good to know, got a 1025r tlb in november with 60 inch deck, learning what i can before spring on the mower deck
The 1025r is a lot easier to setup than climbing under to connect the mid PTO on my B2601. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Great advice. It really makes a difference getting everything leveled including the tire pressure. I learned another place to check are the set screws on the gear spline on the shaft coming out of the gearbox. I had one that was backed out enough that it stopped the quick connection from fully engaging thus the pins wouldn't fully engage into those lower hooks either. I knew the alignment was off somewhere because I had to take the bolts out of the pivoting locking mechanism just to get the mower unhooked on my new to me 1025r that the fella I brought it from had told me he had never taken it off. It sure does a good job cutting when it's leveled out and the blades are new or freshly sharpened.
Thanks 😁Also thanks for leaving a comment with your experience it will help someone I’m sure. Have a great weekend Happy Father’s Day if you’re a Dad😁👍🚜💨🍳
Really nice video! I was just telling Colleen that I hadn’t seen a new video in a while so it was nice to get the notification that this one was out. Keep up the good work Mitch maybe I’ll see you at the equip expo next year?
Thanks Edward I am a little rust 😂things have been busy around here with finish up the pole barn on top off work had to prioritize my time. The equip expo looks like fun I will have to check in with Jamie and see if we can go😁Thanks for checking out the video.🚜💨🐓
Sorry Mitch....for a minute there I thought you had a Greene tractor on your channel. What could I have been thinking!?!?
😉🤣👍
Ha! Good one Chris😂 I had nothing to fix on my Kubota so I worked on a John Deere for a change. Thanks for checking out the video😁👍🚜💨🍳
It was good content Mitch. As you know, I own some Greene as well as Orange!
Glad I found this video, got my tractor back from the dealer and the mid mount pto for the underbelly mower was angled upward so I couldn’t align the deck. Now I think I know how to adjust it down to get it back right. 🤞🏻
I am glad we could help thanks for the positive comment 😁👍🚜💨🍳
@@MJADoingStuff on second look, and after some trial and error that didn’t work. Wondering if there is anything else that might work.
@@pjs5191 Did you put the PTO lever in rear PTO position so the shaft for the mid PTO will move freely?
@@MJADoingStuff believe so, didn’t do anything differently than I ever have.
I am not a fan of the drive over decks. At least with both Kubota and John Deere, it looks to me like they have had to sacrifice some beefiness to the deck in order to accommodate the equipment and materials needed to make all of that come together.
My Dad wanted that when he was still alive and both the dealer and I were able to talk him into 4wd instead of the drive over deck. We seldom remove the decks. I usually change the blades with the deck on the tractor . It is harder to do but that is my preferred method.
Thanks for sharing Mitch. I am sitting here laughing because we have snow on the way and here I am watching a lawn mower video. I am pretty sure I am done mowing until spring 🤣
I am on the fence myself about MMM. I have learned to live with it. Less maintenance than a separate machine I guess was what made me go this route. We have lots of snow today so it gave me a chance to put together a video from summer!😂👍🚜💨🍳
Thos was very good info!
Thanks 😁 my neighbor used to hate putting his mower deck on but now it’s not a big deal anymore. Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Wow. I've seen deere mechanics that can't get it right and its not even your color tractor. Good job. 👍
Thanks😁👍Any tractor time is fun time to me. Thanks for checking out the video and leaving a comment Have a great week. Just went over to your channel and subscribed you got great content.🚜💨🐓
Hey, glad you're back! I thought the 'Tube was filtering you out for whatever reason. I do NOT have a simple deck to install on the B2650. I think they forgot that part of the design for my deck.
How do you like the B2650? I was on the fence between B2601 and B2650. Now I wish I could lift more. The hardest part for me is that PTO drive shaft. We have been crazy busy trying to get the building finished up so I had to put CZcams aside till I got more time. Almost there😁thanks for checking out the video 👍🚜💨🍳
@@MJADoingStuff Hey Mitch. I figured you were busy with a) playing with all your toys out in your play area (property with all the trees and lake) or b) playing in your new playhouse which stores all those things. 🙂 My B2650 HSDC (with a cab) is definitely an enjoybable beast for the lawn mowing. The tradeoffs being that it probably would be damaged all the time if used in the woods and it is a bit heavy for soggy places. It also comes in handy if/when I get snow (in OH) which is not so much. I only put the forks and grapple to use a few times when doing brush and small tree removal duty. It has handled a couple tall tress that fell down from root rot, so I know where it has limits. I definitely don't have all the tasks you do with playland. 🚜
@@jifi-0178Thanks for the info and feedback a cab would be nice. Sounds like you made the right choice. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Nice easy work. That seems like an odd pto set-up on JD...
Thanks Ross 😁👍 I still don’t know why no grease??? But that is what they say on CZcams😂 Thanks for checking out the video🚜💨🍳
Gotta love those quick fixes. How's that new shop working for you? I'm really excited to see some things getting built in there! Hope all is going well!
Quick fixes are my favorite!😁The pole barn shop is pretty much done for now. Today I did my last project in the garage and will be moving my shop to the shed shop this week. I still have to set up everything and build a pallet rack/shelf but I can’t wait to start some tractor 🚜 projects parts are stacking up. 😁👍🚜💨🍳
@@MJADoingStuff that’s really exciting!
It always feels good to help someone. Later
Sure is Mech😁 Marv is a pretty cool dude for helping me out with content for the channel. Thanks for checking out the video😁👍🚜💨🍳
It seems that system is built light, but I guess if it works it works.
I was thinking 🤔 the same but it works pretty good once everything is set up and not bent. I was thinking of reinforcing the hooks so they can take a hit and not bend. Have a great weekend Jason. 😁👍🚜💨🍳
How to raise the hook on the deck?
🤔
So the measurement are from the ground to the bottom of the pin?
Yes and make sure they are the same on both sides. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨🍳
You are handier than a pocket in a shirt Mitch.
Ha!! That was a good one Gary🤣👍Thanks for checking out the video 🚜💨🍳
Sorry...I saw the answer
😁👍
Problem solved!
Thanks Derk!!! Have a great week Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
