I broke my mower deck after watching this video and doing exactly what you did, mechanical lift.

Very helpful video. Best that I’ve found yet. Took delivery of my 2025R yesterday. I now feel informed to remove the loader and mower deck. Thx

nice video but it would be even better if you showed up close the loader lever position and an up close picture of the attachment bar that is on the deck.

That little lock bar that you flip, mine won't flip. What am I doing wrong?

Was it necessary to remove the pin from underneath when taking off the grass cutter or can you accomplish the task by repositioning the metal hinges THANKS

If people think this video is good then they haven't watched many of the CZcams video's that many DIY and small shop mechanics have put up rebuilding car's engines etc, good camera angles and zoom of close ups for details, clip on mics for better sound and lighting excellent, and stills showing 1 2 3 sequence, this looks unprofessional and basic at best . Sorry guys but this could be a lot better.

Too fast! You need to zoom in and show what you are talking about.

Stay away from the poorly designed drive on deck. Just by a riding lawnmower and a Bush hog. You will waste time and money with the drive on deck.

You must be thinking about the Kubota drive over deck. That thing doesn’t work. The JD deck works very well.

@@flash1034 I skipped the drive over deck, takes less than 5 minutes to remove and reinstall the non-drive over deck on the Kubota, very easy.
Every video I have seen on any drive over deck always shows exactly like this video, they remove the deck, then immediately reinstall it...cute...but go do some chores with your tractor involving the PTO and 3 point, then come back and try hooking that drive over deck back up, its not that easy once everything is no longer aligned from actually being used. I've yet to find any drive over deck with auto connect that works as designed, and the JD is no exception...that's why I skipped that nonsense with my Kubota. I simply raise the deck turn the gauge wheels 90 degrees, lower the deck and disconnect the front mount, pull 2 pins and roll the deck out from under the tractor, takes less than a minute once you have done it a couple times.
The parking stand on the JD seems heavier built, on the Kubota it looks like the dang loader will topple over when its sitting there without the tractor LOL.
I originally wanted the 1025R, but after the way I was talked to at the JD dealer I won't do business with them ever. I initially went in at the time to look at a JD X758 as my Craftsman lawn/garden tractor decided to cease operation after a connecting rod parted ways...I figured the heck with those box store mowers that don't last I want a JD...They had one in stock, test drove it and loved it, then thought ok for that kind of money I may as well step up to a compact tractor so I asked if they had the 1025 available to test...the salesman looks at me and says "Why you can't afford one"...I got off the X758 and left. They lost a tractor, loader, tiller, box blade, grading blade, rotary cutter, and mid mount mower sale that day as well as I never recommend them to anyone...I'd tell someone to buy a Mahindra, or Kioti before I'd ever tell anyone to buy anything from JD. I ended up with a Kubota BX2680 sub-compact. For my acre of property it does everything I need a tractor for, and always impresses me with its capabilities. I ended up getting a set of pallet forks as well, and have found those things to be indispensable around my property.
