Repairing the damaged seat frame on my 94 bronco
The seat started leaning back on me, farther than I was comfortable. I take things apart to investigate and find some damage to the seat frame. I had help welding it back together and she's good as new right now!

New seats in the wifes 95 Ford Bronco, road trip to get them!
zhlédnutí 21KPřed 7 lety
Swapping the seats in my wifes 95 Bronco with a 40/20/40 set I found on car-part.com for SUPER cheap. They turned out great and I'm really impressed with the condition they are in. If you're thinking of replacing your buckets with a bench or split bench, this video is for you!
Proper configuration of clutch packs ford 8.8 posi / trac lok
zhlédnutí 54KPřed 7 lety
During a rebuild of my 8.8 Traction Lock rear on my 94 Bronco, I discovered that 1) The rear has been worked on before and 2) it was rebuilt improperly. I'll show you the proper, recommended, configuration of the clutch packs for the Ford 8.8 rear. I'll also share a great technique for compressing and installing the spring that compresses the clutch packs. Ford Performance Parts M-4700-B amzn.t...
Repinning ignition in the 95 bronco, new rear for the 94 bronco!
zhlédnutí 2,4KPřed 7 lety
Learn how to repin your ignition cylinder so you can keep the same key if you have to replace your ignition. I needed to replace the ignition in my wife’s 95 bronco, and I didn’t want there to be three keys (rear glass, doors, ignition). So in this video I’ll show you how to save the pins in the old ignition and put them in your newly acquired one. This procedure is probably VERY similar for ot...
94 Bronco replacing the side mirrors
zhlédnutí 9KPřed 7 lety
This procedure is the same for all 92-96 F-Series and Bronco with power mirrors, as well as the 97 F250. It's really a piece of cake to swap these out. You can get a great deal on a used mirror at the local pick a part!
94 Bronco, remove and replace headlamps (Sylvania ZXE 9007)
zhlédnutí 16KPřed 7 lety
Replacing the headlights in my 1994 Ford Bronco. This procedure should be identical for any 92-96 Bronco of F150/F250/F350 and the 97 F250/F350. You'll learn how to remove and replace the grille, bezels, headlamps, and header panel. Using DEPO brand headlamp housing from rock auto, part # FO2505102. Tag along as I install the spare tire carrier onto my 94 Bronco that the previous owner removed. After installing, I clean, prime, and paint it back to factory new!
"P'ing" the PSOM - Programming the 92-96 F-Series and Bronco PSOM
zhlédnutí 88KPřed 7 lety
In this video, I'll show you how to calculate the conversion constant needed to program the PSOM in you 92-96 F-Series/Bronco, this should also apply to the 97 F250/F350. For a ton of detailed information, and how to figure out your RevsPerMile manually, please visit Steve83's supermotors page: www.supermotors.net/registry/media/76023 "What is a PSOM and how do I P it?" at fullsizebronco.com: w...
Pressure testing my Ford Bronco 5.8 - COOLANT LEAK!
zhlédnutí 11KPřed 7 lety
Quick video on using a pressure tester to locate a coolant leak. Dodged a bullet on this one and it ending up being a loose hose clamp! I was prepared with a new thermostat housing and gasket just in case.
WARN 9790 Manual Locking Hub Teardown and Rebuild
zhlédnutí 17KPřed 7 lety
Watch as I show you how to teardown and rebuild a WARN 9790 Manual Locking Hub. The WARN 9790 manual locking hubs are primarily for 1/2 ton trucks. The application chart below will help you determine which set fits your vehicle. If you're looking for a used set at the junkyard, check the application chart for other vehicles that you may not have considered that share the same style locking hub....
Tightening the tailgate hinges on a 94 Bronco
zhlédnutí 2,6KPřed 7 lety
This should apply to most Full Size broncos 80-96, maybe more. Looks like a nut for the tailgate hinge worked it's way off or a previous owner just didn't put it back on for whatever reason. The hinge eventually worked its way loose.
94 Ford Bronco, stripped idler pulley bolt
zhlédnutí 9KPřed 7 lety
Stripped my idler pulley bolt, watch me solve the problem and replace it along with a new idler pulley. This is a 94 Ford Bronco with the 351w engine. I couldn't find exact torque specs for this bolt, but similar engines say 15-22 foot lbs is where it should be.
Which shim with gear goes to which side.
Which side gets washer with gear that bottoms out on gear. I only have one the came out like that
The program worked, just like in the video. But still didn’t fix my problem. Needle still bouncing and I am not sure the Bronco is shifting into overdrive. Thanks.
So if I add thicker shims, will it help lock up both axels better? And, can you add too much shim?
I have the same identical crack
I've come to a conclusion about factory Ford 8.8 trac lock differentials no matter what you do no matter what clutches you use no matter how you stack them or how tight if one wheel is on mud the other one has good traction it might as well be an open differential since first commenting here 5 years ago I've stacked them several different ways including like this video shows and the like factory Ford manual says it just doesn't matter they're junk of course if you're on a good surface they will lay down 2 nice patches of rubber I don't know about the rest of you but I need mine for mud and snow where they're useless BTW my F 150 now has an Auburn and it works so much better like night and Day and that's not a plug for Auburn I figure an Eaton or Yukon would just as good if not better
Great information. Thank you.
Is it absolutely necessary to place the S spring. I heard in forums it only benefits when its extremely slippery like mud or rain. Is this true, what would happen if I leave it out. Thnks
Brother if you leave it out you will constantly slip. I know this because I took out the diff pin and removed the S spring, then I put the dif pin back in to mark the gears with a paint marker. When it didn't have the s spring I can easily turn the gears by hand. Then with the spring in I couldn't turn them at all. Which is what we want, zero slippage.
Good information
Hi, Hope all is well with everyone. Would a gear change have the same effect as tire size change?
This helps thanks for making the video.

Why should we care to do this? If you upsize the tire, your odometer will increment more slowly, helping the value of the truck. If you go from 29" to 32" just add 10% to the speedometer reading. While it's cool that it's possible to program it, I see no reason to actually do it
Great demonstration! You were straight to the point. Now to purchase new tires. Thank you!
Five minutes of him just driving across country. What the heck. Lol
Do you still have any bolts?
Does this effectively change the shift points?
Great video! I’ve been having issues with my trans it seems to happen when the something on the interior side warms up. It will then down shift or sometimes shift really hard into 3rd gear. I’ve also noticed that the cruise control doesn’t work when this starts to act up. I have a 1993 F 250 XLT HD. I was thinking it’s an issue with PSOM but I don’t know how to test. Thanks and keep on making great content!
Thanks for this. Was a tiny bit different on my 92 but matched what i read in some forums, it counts forward not backwards and didnt seam to have any limit to how often i could change it, it didnt even have a reset counter, n the psom port wasnt labeled but in the exact spot shown. Just got the tuck with a bad transmission but its been on 38s for 20 years n it was still factory tire size on the psom, this should help as i get ready to swap in a good transmission.
Thanks for vid, I have a 1990 Bronco with No LS. I was able to get a compatible 8.8 (H9) LS unit from a 2000 Expedition , for donor. The Ford kit no longer comes with friction Modifier. It now comes in the gear lube.
I bought the Motorsport clutches about 6 months ago and mine came with the friction modifier, you can smell it through the box (and the bottle was not leaking).
Whats the make and model of the coolant system pressure tester
PLEASE HELP I went through this video step by step, however when I hold the RESET button and turn the key to RUN, I get the code “E 03”. When I click RESET again, I get 1000CAL but it won’t let me change the calibration number no matter how many times I click SELECT. I have a wire running from the PSOM terminal to a ground while I’m doing this. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Are all the tone rings the same. 96 150 with 4.9 factory tires. 235/75r15. Thanks
My odometer and speedometer are completely off , flashing overdrive light and rough shift .
Thanks for the vid, got mine calibrated down to 864 running BFG A/T 33x12.5 R15 , working better! Everything worked like a champ
Hi My 1995 Ford E-350 the transmission shift early because the speedometer needs calibration the tire size 225/75/16 can anyone help me to get the conversion construction Thank you
I’m dumb how exactly do I get the tone ring teeth? This is my first time doin this so idk wtf I’m doin
I wonder if I could fit one of these to a 96 f150? Looks like the same body lines.
Excellant Video
Where can I get a new internal spider gear?
Where can I get a new internal spider gear?
you cn buy off line any where. call em parts kits. they sell em all types a ways brotha.
Gracias muchas Gracias. Ya me subscribí y ten tu like. God Bless you and your family.
Great job! Straight to the point without any fluff filler BS including being man enough to admit a mistake for the greater hood!!
thanks for sharing this info. 1 thing, makes more sense to run 2 steels up against the spider gear. this stiffens it up where it needs it most, the part hanging off the gear.
Thanks for showing the measurements. Also for showing how to get the spring back in. Many other videos show neither of those necessary little tidbits. Glad I found this.
Tengo una van econoline del 1995. El marcador (speedometer) no funciona. Le puse otro y no funcionó. Le compre el speedsensor y no hace nada. Los fusibles is ok. Cual será el problema? Saludos desde Puerto Rico👍
I f…. up my truck as soon as I did that. Now I can’t get my truck to go back to taking off on first gear !!
Awesome video, thank you for the info.
what if the thing reads E 03 and thats it
How do you take off hinge bolts? I took off retainer clip. Do you hammer hinge bolt up from bottom?
I'm pretty sure the psom in my 94 f150 needs to be replaced. The Speedometer does not work, the od light is flashing and the transmission won't downshift on it's own. Could it be the psom?
Same problem
I would have given this video multiple likes if I could have . I have been searching for so long on CZcams for a in depth video like this ...thanks for sharing
I agree. Glad I found this video.
I just bought a 95 F250 and the drivers seat is broken in exactly the same spot.
Do you have any WD-40? That squeak would drive me nuts. 🤣 Thanks for the video.
Do you still bave bronco parts?
If your counter reach to "0" calibrations left...I can help with that.
What can you do if you do reach 0 ? I am still trying to figure out my conversion constant
Hi Does that mirror fold in manually?
Why go to the trouble of removing the instrument cluster? You realize there is a single wire connector for the PSOM under the glove box right?!
My though too
You really think if he realized that, he would go through the effort of making this video?
