- Swapping the seats in my wifes 95 Bronco with a 40/20/40 set I found on car-part.com for SUPER cheap. They turned out great and I'm really impressed with the condition they are in. If you're thinking of replacing your buckets with a bench or split bench, this video is for you!

Subbed. Cool channel. What a score on the 40-20-40 seats. I have 2 OBS Fords, my 95 F150 4x4 is standard cab longbed, 351w with 223k miles.. and my 94 F250 is an extended cab longbed, 460 with 68k miles

Nice score on the seats! I looked a long time for a decent set of 40-20-40 seats to swap into my '96 XL and they weren't nearly as clean as those. Mine did come out of an extended cab truck, but the seat mounts were bent up pretty good so I swapped on the bases from the original vinyl buckets. I also had to repair the broken incline on the 40-20-40's driver's seat, again a swap from the original buckets. Ended up being more work than I'd planned but definitely worth it in the end.
Thanks, yeah it sounds like I really did luck out on these seats. I was scrolling through car-part.com and kept getting farther and farther from home and I saw this set of three seats listed with only a description of "LEFT" "CENTER" "RIGHT". I said... hmmm.. That sounds like it could be a 40/20/40 so I decided to call, not only a 40/20/40, color was right and the price was right! Thanks for watching.

Probably way too late, but i found a nickle in my seat belt latch preventing my latch from depressing. took some time to get it out but got it out, now it works.
Good stuff. I'm always on the lookout for spare parts. My '93 F150 supercab, longbed, flareside, 4X4, 5.0L is pretty cherry but we know the parts bin won't stay full for long, huh?
Im doing this seat swap within the next few days already have a set of Tan extended cab seats lined up going to buy them tomorrow! If anyone is interested in checking it out let me know I might post a video

Do you know the entire year range of F-150/250s, etc. you can use the seats from? I know you mentioned a small year range, but could you use seats from a newer truck? Anyone else know? We have been looking at replacing ours, as well and like the center seat idea. Thanks!

Do you think you could take measurements of the bracket for those seats? I’m considering fabricating the bracket if I can’t locate one that’s at least semi-local to me in central Virginia.
