  • Stripped my idler pulley bolt, watch me solve the problem and replace it along with a new idler pulley. This is a 94 Ford Bronco with the 351w engine.
I couldn't find exact torque specs for this bolt, but similar engines say 15-22 foot lbs is where it should be.

I used blaster about 10 times over a couple hours to loosen a tight pulley bolt on my 95 bronco, even in the back of the pulley.
I see how you can strip it as the T-50 doesn't quite fit all the way in nicely. Used a long pipe as a breaker bar. The blaster can also clean the bolt up after removal.

Is it plastic or metal? Should break easily if plastic. If metal maybe the nut welding trick would work?
