is this content enough for second mates exam ?
insanely good drawing and very informative details..love it👍💯💯
what an informative video ...thanks
Some vessels assumed kg is 0m but some vessels there is assumed example kg 9 or 10m. Tks
just assume that, we have 0 trim and 0 heel with a certain water line. then someone ask what is the gz when ship heel 20 degree, how can you solve that withou calculations programs ? where is the point makes the ship heel 20 degree ? İs it center of gravity or center of buoyancy or center of first waterline intersect with KM line ? No one knows the answer ? Where is the first point where the ship heeled ? As a result, turning 20 degrees from the extreme end of the portside will be different from turning 20 degrees from point G.

19:21 is the MAX RATE OF DESCENT not minimum. It should not go down faster than 5m/s for the reason for it to remain as max time in Air as possible for other vessels to spot it.
Well explained Nihal, Thank you 😊

Correction in 4 (b)
3:15 Why fire extinguishing table at the end???
11:46 dont you think we have to remove the weigths from the lower sid e since the g will move farther away from m in left most dowbword side which will tend to make ship upright UNLIKE what you said ,,, please confirm
Correction vessel more than 200m length The horizontal distance need to not be more than 100m.... So it can place if required Ie VLCC 300m L ....... The fwd mast is place more than 100m
What is correct can we discharge less than 3 Nn if through STP
