You'r explanation was awesome.. by watching ur vedio.. my concept is now cleared. Thank you so much
Awesome ! 👍 Great effort has been utilized to produce this theoretical Explanation 🙏 appreciate very much all your videos , looking forward to more , thank you mate ! May Almighty God bless and guide you Always 🙏
Awesome! Thank you for sharing.
This was by far your best video ...
you are a blessing to our community
Everlasting doubts cleared sir, thank u so much
Awesome video bro, hard to find officers like you in our field which can explain any hard topic with so much ease. Keep making videos
''amazing'' is the word for your work
Too good man... Keep it up. Great way of teaching.
Very helpful.Thanks mate.
maja aa giyo bhaai kith h tu mai aaya💛
that was actually awesome presentation ...tbh ..i was struggling from past 2 mnths in this chapt ...keep growing ....
Awsmm explanation sir...... 😃😃😃😃
thank u sir well explained 👌
briefly explained as much required
Very Good Explanation
Great explaination sir
amazing video sir! thankyou so much
that was vey useful. could you please throw some light on that 57.3 degress what you said for finding intial GM. IS IT EVERYTIME WE NEED TO TAKE 57.3 ONLY.?
good presentation..very informative.. thank you..
Grt explanation
Thank you Nihal, your videos were useful for the preparation.

Thank You Bhai ❤💜💙🧡💚💛
very useful for exam sir
why did u choose one radian for finding the initial GM??
the angle at which deck immersion takes place with subsequent ingress of water is the angle of downflooding and not angle of contraflexure.
please clarify!
angle of contraflexure is the angle at which the rate of increase of GZ starts to reduce. GZ can still keep increasing beyond this point but the rate of increase keeps reducing till the point (Max GZ) where it eventually starts to reduce.
Point of contraflexure on the curve of a graph is the location at which no curvature occurs. It is where the curve changes its gradient and represents the angle of deck edge immersion.

Sir, Why initial GM is taken at an angle of heel of 57.3 degree(1 radian)
From where we can find the kg value intially...because hydrostatic curve doesnt have kg value....pls answer
Thank you sir, so nice explanation. Please make a video for reserve dynamic stability and damage stability

Why at 57.3…for initial gm
very nicely explained

one question is the angle of vanishing stability can also be angle of LOL

From hydrostatic table, youd find current disp using hydrostatic draft, but how do I find current KG of the ship ?
You can get the current KG of the ship also from the same Hydrostatic table against your Hydrostatic draft.
where to find angle of flooding angke
just assume that, we have 0 trim and 0 heel with a certain water line. then someone ask what is the gz when ship heel 20 degree, how can you solve that withou calculations programs ? where is the point makes the ship heel 20 degree ? İs it center of gravity or center of buoyancy or center of first waterline intersect with KM line ? No one knows the answer ? Where is the first point where the ship heeled ? As a result, turning 20 degrees from the extreme end of the portside will be different from turning 20 degrees from point G.
thank you sir for sharing this knowlege
but it will be great if you do for us FEM analyse , with CATIA 3D or with abaqus
I need to Learn CATIA 3D . Let's see this is something new. Thanks for your valuable suggestions.
Nihal Gupta you're welcome friend
Wat correction we apply to find out the hydrostatic draught

Sir why do we draw vertical at 1Rad only to find initial GM?

Hi bro, thanks for nice videos. They are really helpful.
But i would like to suggest you to buy a cellphone stand to record videos. All the videos are shaky and they really leave stress on the viewer's eyes.
Thanks again and keep posting :) Good luck
Hi jaswinder, I'll surely see what I can do to reduce the shaky videos.
Basically it needs image stabilisation which is lacking. I'll rectify this soon. I don't want my viewers to be stressed 😁

You said kg and displace ment we will get from hydraustatic table , how come kg from hydraustatic table
In this how on y axis... GZ = GM?????
It is just a representation. GZ is not equal to GM on Y axis. We are just using the similar scale for representation. We are just deriving the initial metacenter (GM) of the vessel with respect to the tangent which is drawn from the GZ initial curve where it intersects the vertical through the angle of heel of 57.3°.

At 1 min 44 sec of the Video you said we will get Displacement and KG from the Hydrostatic Draft..
Would you be Kind Enough to explain how can we possible get the KG of the ship Via Hydrostatic Draft????
