I think the fact that he is probably one of the worst champions to win it all when it comes to shear gifted ability, I think makes the fact that he won it all even more impressive. Especially considering his life from loosing his dad and watching so many of his father’s colleagues pass away (and other things he had to go thru) which massively contributed to his mental health deteriorating.

He is underrated by most F1 fans because he was Senna's arch-nemesis, didn't die young, isn't attractive to the eye and wasn't a dashing driver. Considering Senna was the opposite of all I listed and is still consider a god, it's no surprise no matter what documentary we do on Alain, F1 fans will still consider him a second-class F1 driver. People act on emotions not on facts. Prost is by far one of the best among deceased and living racers and had qualities that even the F1 god Senna lacked. But it is a "heresy" to say that among F1 fans.

Don't know how the call from '82 was not included. Although the battle started earlier as a result if pit stop timing, the last 10 laps were fantastic. Rick Mears was about 10-11 seconds behind Gordon Johncock. Mears gained a second a lap, pulled alongside Gordo as the white flag dropped. Gordo held off Mears for the win, by only 0.16 seconds. I attended that race.

Time penalties are kind of pointless for the teams far outside the points. if more team teams received points the time penalties would be more effective

If they dont want kmag and haas to do this then they should change the punishment, i don't believe the team see he's actions negatively, i feel they see it as him being an ultimate team player

Counter argument, Ricciardo is not in great form, Bottas is barely doing anything appreciable, Ocon leaving Alpine for HAAS seems unreasonable even in the current status of Alpine, Bearman did well, in a Ferrari threading water in a HAAS without the Ferrari infrastructure behind is not the same thing. Magnussen penalty for the first cut of the gicane has been eccessive and frankly not repeated in other circumstances in the same sprint race, the penalty in the race was given considering that sargeant got the worst end of the stick but he himself admitted that didn't even notice Magnussen on the inside that got the interior. Magnussen is performing consistently worse than hulkemberg during qualifying and that is evident and on him, however Hulkenberg is performing better exclusively in qualifying, even last year the only reason why hulkenberg overtook magnussen was Australia the only race were he scored and even there was not necessarily a Nico masterdrive was more an effect of the disaster caused by the restart. Overall I don't agree with this dunking on Magnussen, and these opportunistic criticism. There are clear rules, there is a penalty system, the pressure competitor are putting on the stewards to increase the penalty becasue they didn't foresee a case like this is the classic F1 lament.

To me the Sargeant crash looked a lot like the albon crash in jeddah, just with bigger consequences. Albon went halfway alongside kmag and got squeezed. Kmag went halfway alongside Sargeant and got squeezed.

I slightly disagree with your point on a rookie being in the team is risky at 11:17. Lando, George, and Albon worked because they were highly touted prospects, all of which had/have shots of becoming future world champions when they end up at the right team. At the same time I feel like Mick Schumacher had the Nyck De Vries vibe about him where F2 was as far as he needed to go in the F1 ladder, because he just didn't have "it". Ollie Bearman has "it", he can stack up to whoever you put him against at haas. Kimi Antonelli I think needs another year or two, but he has "it" as well.

What's funny is F1 fans seem to think every car on the grid is a RedBull... But they're not... Not just in speed, but how easy/hard they are to drive... Haas have always had bad cars, with long documented history of them being extremely unpredictable and with reliability in pieces, getting consistency out of the car is next to impossible. That's why NOBODY in haas has been able to do it. No lap is ever the same in horribly bad cars. The end of the Stella comment is the important bit that is being overlooked. He's not talking about Kevin driving badly, he's talking about Kevin driving AT ALL. He's talking about how the bottom end of the drivers are driving deliberately against cars they should not be, and in the manner that will always be damaging... Stella KNOWS that a bad car will always cause an issue, thats why when the McLarens are doing nothing at all, they stay purely out of the way, as not to cause an issue... Kevin is a very good driver, and if he was in say, that Alpine at the time, Or Checo's RedBull against Lewis in 2021, we wouldn't see these mistakes... Because those cars were reliable... Haas is not... He was told by the team to defend for Nico, and that's what he did... Despite knowing the car is bad, thats what he did... His calm demeanor about it shows that it was impossible for him to drive that car as clean as some would like, and accepts that it's part of the Haas game... And when the rules are set out the way they are, it's causing him and the lower grid teams even more issues..

There's an easy fix for this - if a driver is deliberately trying to ruin the other driver's race while creating dangerous circumstances you black flag them. Obviously, you can not solely trust FIA with this and there needs to be thorough discussion on what is or isn't deliberate/malicious but 3+ penalties in a single race should automatically retire you to the pits as you're no longer racing at that point.
