I used to work for a tree company owned by a young Scientologist couple. It basically shut down in the same way Braille did. One of brailles biggest problems is that arron wasn't the main draw in its peak. People liked the braille team at that time, enjoyed watching those personalities being creative together. When they all left he audience felt that something was wrong behind the scenes and/or that the draw to watch the videos was gone.

Not supporting Braille here but it is pretty rich the freestyle illuminati that control / own most of the skateboard industry take issue with competition that has far less inbred PR resources at its disposal that was doing the same insular thing. Lets face reality it comes down to not giving customers the best value products by removing competition and free choice

Considering the origins date back to the nose hook impossible from freestyle, with the first ollie variations being set up with the front foot on the very nose of the board, I --- as someone who routinely does this trick (see the shorts on my channel) as well as 360 flat pop shoveits -- would have to say that both a foot wrap and a vertical axis are required for a proper impossible. The best examples to come to mind would be Mullen, Ed Templeton and Dylan Rieder. In the context of the front foot Damien Carabajal and Ocean Howell both showcase a distinct foot wrap that is integral to this trick being what it is. It is no surprise that the pressure flip generation of the early nineties directly succeeded the generation that coined Street ollie impossibles --- both of these tricks utilize the exact same technique. Furthermore an impossible late flip is not a pop shuvit late varial flip!!! The Impossible late flip/"Ollie Imposter" cannot be executed unless the impossible is wrapped on the y-axis around the back foot so the underflip can be initiated!!! They are two separate tricks, both completely valid and wonderful in their own right, but nonetheless they are very different tricks with very different foot placements and rotations.
