In this video, we’re going to discuss iodine function and its many health benefits. The thyroid consumes about 6 milligrams of iodine daily, and the breast tissue consumes about 5 milligrams. The ovaries, brain, eyes, and the lining of your stomach all require significant amounts of iodine.
Iodine is highly antiestrogenic. Estrogen dominance increases the risk of cancer, especially in the breast, ovary, and uterus. Iodine causes cancer cells to self-destruct.
Iodine strengthens the thyroid, which improves your overall health. It also strengthens the immune system and reduces inflammation. Iodine is also vital for a healthy pregnancy.
Iodine is considered a halogen, so other halogens like bromide and fluoride compete with iodine in the body. Increasing your iodine intake can help detox these other halogens.
Try drinking water with unrefined sea salt for several days, then begin taking Lugol’s iodine solution-a mixture of two different types of iodine. Take this solution for about five days, then take two days off. Also, consume between 3 and 9 grams of vitamin C, 400 mg of magnesium, 100 mg of selenium, and the complete B-complex to detox these other halogens completely.
If you have hyperthyroidism, do not take iodine.
Just because you’re allergic to shellfish does not mean you are allergic to iodine. Goitrogenic foods like cruciferous vegetables and lima beans block iodine-but if you regularly consume sea kelp, it counters any bad effects. High amounts of iodine can be beneficial for respiratory viruses.
Iodine also binds with mercury and aluminum, helping rid the body of toxic metals.

    Great info.... But are we missing the low-grade, high-fat beef can cause just as much inflammation and we should make sure it is a leaner/higher-grade beef?     I started to have tremors/nervous where my arms, hands and legs would shake bad when I wake up. In which at times I couldn't stand or walk. But after about 3 hours it would stop. I stopped all medications in which some may caused the tremors, itching rash and so called bumps on my skin.

    Tomatoes and watermelons especially in men prevent prostate problems. I'd rather say eat Tomatoes in moderation. Please respond in this regard rather than completely cut on foods you are mentioning.

    I have a better remedy, and it's not an antacid, it's a cure. This will soothe the acid, coat the inside of the stomach and promote mucous production, preventing further damage and kill the heliobacter pylori that is eating the stomach lining. I used it to heal and cure my ulcers and they never came back. The soothing and coating agent is Slippery Elm Bark and what will kill the offending bacteria is Cayenne Pepper. Get the two herbs (powdered) and mix them 50/50 and put them into 00 capsules: Take one with or right after every meal until you can tolerate the cayenne and then go to two capsules with meals. Your ulcers will be CURED in one week. Your stool will feel warm as it passes, but it will not irritate hemorrhoids if you have them.

    He should be eating Araucana chicken eggs. They have significantly larger yolks. I always fed my Araucana chickens flaxseed so my eggs were high in omega fatty acids and sold my eggs in a health food store.

    I read the other day picking your nose or pulling nose hairs can cause bacteria to travel to the brain causing inflammation and increased risk of dementia. Also sinus infections can cause depression and possibly dementia for the same reason. Inflammation in that area seems to be a major issue. Bummer for me , sinuses are always an issue…

I have fluid retention in my feet and legs my Doctor prescribed Bumetanide 2 MG three times daily, i urinate like a horse but the swelling in my feet and legs have not gone away at all, also i drink lipton tea every day along with water...The doctors just keep telling me to keep taking the Bumetanide which is obviously not working..Could you give me your advice on this problem?
