      But no worries, I essssplain to you what she means. Phone books are these big phat books about the same size as a massive dictionary or law books.
      These phone books used to be a common thing decades ago. They contained the phone numbers to the vast majority of businesses, government services andd, lpeople! Like us. Phone books had peoples house phone #’s listed, everybody.
      There was an option though to have your number taken off and be private if you so chose, but majority of people didn’t do that. How else were people supposed to contact each other…? There was no internet during these times like how it is today.

    Dr. Berg, I thank you so much. My son was diagnosed with dermhoid. A lump over his left collarbone. We went to 2 specialists and both said only surgery could be the solution. You could see and feel the lump. After using kelp and dulse with most of his food (we ended up using it in the family coz if one lacks it, we may all do since we eat the same food for the most part), it significantly went away in like a month or so. Now, we cant see nor feel it. Even the doctor who said it might not go away, was happy to inform us that he does not need to come for every 3 months visits and ultrasound. We are still told to com every 6 months just to get him checked and no ultrasound still is needed. GOD's purpose for your life to share awesome health information is working so well to many people. I myself fast (though currently in a plateau), and it works not just for losing weight but feeling healthy. Thank you. May GOD protect and bless you and your family!

The lady in the health food shop said when I asked where I could find the iodine in the store she said "there is a big problem getting any, nobody has any" the next pharmacist in the long established chemists looked at me like I was asking for the Holy Grail and finally I got the answer from the family chemists, she didn't have any, I asked what the issue was with getting iodine, she said "its been removed " my reply "why? it k!lls germs!" the answer "anything that is beneficial and works has been removed" she looked equally as frustrated. Imagine everyone on planet earth took this as a supplement! there woul be no illness or cancer and no p@andemics. .....

      @@JJ-jl1ge I had RAI ablation of the thyroid then took full replacement synthetic thyroid hormone for 12yrs. I felt lousy when I was on levothyroxine, so I titrated off over a 18-month period. Without the levothyroxine suppressing the release of TSH by the hypothalamus my body started producing thyroxine on its own. Instead of taking the synthetic hormone ingested iodine, selenium and zinc - what the body needs to produce thyroxine. It took many months but I got to the other side. I don't know if it's a journey for everyone, but I pray that your daughter finds what works for her.

    • @jusmecmp
      @jusmecmp Před 2 měsíci

      @@JJ-jl1ge I trusted an Endocrinologist in 2008, and was given two choices for the Grave's Disease I developed just nine months after my first flu shot (not sure if it's related but today's revelations about those shots; could be related as having weakened my immune system). I chose Radioactive Iodine over surgical removal. Either way; I'd be on thyroid hormone replacement for the rest of my life. I was foolhardy, to say the least. My trust in medical was misplaced. I should have sought-out a holistic/natural type doctor. 13 years later my niece would do just this after a diagnoses of Hashimotos. My niece through diet, vitamins, herbs, etc, was cured. Yes, cured. The Clinic had a protocol to follow which would lead to a lifetime of maintenance; enriching the Clinics, and Big Pharma. I regret my choice now that I know how our Medical System has been corrupted. Please do the leg-work for your daughter. Life is too short to let it become even shorter with their medical protocols that cure nothing and only prolong everything; eventually worsening. Just my opinion, and experience. May GOD bless you and your daughter, and I pray to Archangel Raphael for a healing to be found for your daughter. Added Note: I had the very fast heartbeat, too. I was given a serious drug called Methimazole that caused my thyroid to produce less hormone. The side effects were not good but I did this for nine months following the diagnosis - per the Endocrinologist Protocol. I then went for the Radioactive Iodine, per his suggestion that the Grave's antibodies wouldn't stop being produced which is why he went this other route for those nine months. Sometimes; the period of time on Methimazole will result in the Grave's going away, or so the doctor told me. The Methimazole did slow down my heartbeat. I was still, quite sick. The Radioactive Iodine burned my thyroid and pretty much killed it. Those antibodies then took-off for my shins (created scars that were truly scary - but no bleeding). The shin disease cleared up after a year. The antibodies also took-off for my eye sockets, which is painful. It did some damage, and bugged-my eyes out a bit. After a year of this, it went into remission which I went into an MRI Center to get an Orbital MRI to see how it was progressing, or if it'd gone into remission. It's hard to do the right thing but if you do research, and find a natural type doctor; there may be help, and a cure that is not surgical or Radioactive.

      It's the 'vegetable' oils and 'seed' oils that are the problem, sunflower, corn oil, rapeseed, nut oils. (Extra virgin cold pressed olive oil is ok in moderation)
      Natural animal fats are good for you. Trans fats, hydrogenated fats etc are very bad for you.

      @@fernandageller4626 I'm taking Lugol's 5% iodine in drops. Will you use it for fibroids as well? It worked great for me for the other reasons, but for the fibroids it didn't. It might be that my fibroids were already too big, so I did have to get them removed surgically. Still, I can recommend taking iodine. You'll have more energy, more balanced hormones, improved breast health, etc. I do recommend starting very slowly. I only took half a drop the first day (I basically put one drop and drank half the glass the first day and the other half the second day). Every person needs a different amount and the body needs to adjust. If you can find a good doctor who does iodine tests to check how deficient you are, that could also help a lot to determine how much you need. I also highly recommend Dr. Brownstein's book about iodine. I hope you'll have great results with it! :)

Two weeks ago my fibroids were removed because they were getting too big so I went back to 8 drops since I don’t think I need that much now that I no longer have fibroids.

    My 16 year old daughter has breast hypoplasia. I have just realised she likely had paediatric hypothyroidism (which I never heard of until yesterday), I have now put her on iodine drops but it may be too late, I hope not. It’s very distressing for her. There is virtually no information about this but I have collated as much as I can to arrive at a conclusion. I understand there are other breast issues but she physiologically does not fit into tubular breast or any of the other ones. It clearly looks like hypoplasia. She had a very refined carbs heavy diet (my fault!) and had a burst appendix as a child which I now see as having been a manifestation of poor gut health and insulin resistance. It’s hard to face up to these things, especially when there is a nasty upsetting and obvious physical manifestation where we might not be on time to save it, it depends on whether at 16 it works on her thyroid and if there is any growth left to happen. I will let you know! Thank you so much for your amazing videos!! This information has saved a generation!

    Dr. berg, I’m getting to the point where I am overdosing on supplements in the sense of just so many bottles. Is there a SINGLE multivitamin, liquid supplement, or whatever that contains all of what we need? I’ve read the ingredient list of several of them and they don’t have half of what you recommend. Ditto for the newer ones like Simple green, Kava, etc.

    I found this research out when I was looking into getting a hot tub. I learned how chlorine and bromine in excess are bad for your thyroid so i started taking iodine gradually up to 12.5 with cofactors. It's been a solid year now and my hot tub is coming next month so I hope I have prepped enough for the halides in the water. I think its important to slowly build your way up otherwise you can herx with sore throat and flu like symptoms.

      So I kinda just had to find out for myself.
      But what I do is mix in an old chlorine container with the safety lid,
      about 1part (cup) b o r ax
      2 parts (cup) Baking Soda
      4 parts (cup) Epsoms salts
      Shake together...
      Add a few drops of your fav essential oil eg tea tree, lavendar
      etc
      Then add about a tablespoon to hot tub each time you use it. More if there's lots of people..
      Gave the same recipe to my sister for her cold water pool in Queensland.. Absolutely no algae growth!

    I love your videos, but I would really like to see what methods you would suggest for taking these "supplements" I don't like that word lol. So, do you have a menu, an online guide, a book, recipes, anything we can follow directly? A comprehensive list would be awesome to mix with herbal and home remedies. What I guess I'm looking for is specific answers to specific scenarios, like I may have either leaky gut, and/or other inflammatory issues as well as a possible autoimmune issues from the gut issues. There's too much information for me to rally follow, even your videos are hard to really break down what I should do for these issues. If you come up with a regimen for something like that I would buy it in a heartbeat.

    A way to test for Iodine deficiency is simply to paint a small square of it (the disinfectant type) on your skin. If the stain is gone (absorbed) within 12 hours, you were lacking. If it's still there, you are getting enough from your diet. A cheap, safe and easy test at home.
    The skin method is also a way to ensure you do not take too much. I like Berg a lot - but there is definitely a thing as too much iodine. You may become very aggressive if a lot of T4 is converted to T3 in a short time. I've picked fights with people simply because so much active hormone was pumping - from hyperthyroid - which the iodine enabled.

      I just read that you will absorb it either way and the example that was used is that babies used to have it applied to the umbilical stub or whatever you call it and that they found out it was causing babies to have a thyroid problem for weeks. I would look more into this before I would rely on either way.

    • @zynski3451
      @zynski3451 Před 4 měsíci

      @@eckoart.erin.jerome I won't pretend to know everything about it. Sometimes I fast and the Iodine is absorbed within hours because there's no meat or fish in my diet. While on regular days, it'll last ~16 hours. But my thyroid is whacky.
      At the end of the day, medicine is always very personal.

      Try drinking water with unrefined sea salt for several days, then begin taking Lugol’s iodine solution-a mixture of two different types of iodine. Take this solution for about five days, then take two days off. Also, consume between 3 and 9 grams of vitamin C, 400 mg of magnesium, 100 mg of selenium, and the complete B-complex to detox these other halogens completely.
