This deck looks beautiful.I noticed it when it first appeared on the pre release listings as it immediately appealed. I also like the faceless images very much. Bit disappointed that so few of the images represented the older, crone aspects ..the only one that obviously depicted an older woman was ( predictably) the Hermit. I’m now on the fence because of this and probably won’t buy it ( as I’ve already over spent on decks recently). But thanks for sharing it.

I find those editions a bit expensive. £33.00, so I'm waiting for it to go on sale or reduce in price 😂

I was impressed with the majors and I liked the aces and the courts. Not sure about the minors, I feel like they missed some chances there. Very RWS cloned, and also a bit inconsistent with the art style.

I'm intrigued but so many images but honestly I'm not sure I can get past that Strength card. It just bothers me so much.

That has really surprised me! Not the kind of deck I would usually go for *at all*, but it's gorgeous. Gives me real Powell and Pressburger vibes with the highly stylised takes on historical imagery. LOVE it! Sometimes the decks we're drawn to can end up being variations on a theme so it makes me wonder if/how this might change my readings which make me very, very tempted to get it...hmm... Thank you, wouldn't have been on my radar without this walk-through! 👍

I love the knight of cups on the seahorse 🩵 I like it but I wish someone else had made it because like you said there’s not enough space in their guidebooks. It would be better for me to have info about why those choices were made or what the idea behind them are. Still a nice looking I might add it to the wishlist

I once saw a rendition of a RWS based tarot deck in which the point of view of the imagery was shown. The moon card was card with a hand dipping in the water I believe, the tower card in the pov of the people falling down... Do you have any idea about which deck I am talking about?

Sorry, this is such a tangental question...but, what is the "bog" referring to in the Brits phrase "bog standard"? Is it like, a quagmire bog, like "every town has a bog"? Is it an anachronym, maybe Business Office Grade? Just not getting this phrase, but love the interview. Thanks, from the states.

Love the Earth Moon and Shadow, but unfortunately out of print and while there is supposed to be a printing in 2025 we have to wait for the newsletter from them. I missed out on both printings :(

I started with the indie version of Samhain which I gifted because it was so hard to read. I collected the first three and then stopped. But the change in artist has opened up the series for me again and I will complete the set. I display them on my seasonal altar and pull cards daily or weekly. Thanks for the walk thru.

Hi SIMON and CHRIS I have this Beautiful Llewellyn deck now for 10 yrs now , I just Love Throwback Thursdays it allows me to dig out my oldies but goodies put them back on my Tarot table again. I was listening to Chris speak about 8 of Cups and the 2 Cups just sitting on Water as she’s is walking Away. I always interpreted as going back to The 2 of Cups actually representing romantic relationships and Water Emotions and She’s walking away from it all that’s how I see the placement of the cups and this card . Thank you both for bringing back these past decks there like old forgotten friends. Hugs Caroline 😘❤️

I love the whole SOTW series, this Lammas deck is simply gorgeous! I can’t wait for the Ostara deck! It’s set to be published on February 4th, 2025 in the U.S. based on Amazon and it’s already available to pre-order which I did! Ostara is my favorite sabbat of all and I’m super excited! 🌸🐰🌿🌷🐣 Can you please make a video of the Ostara deck once it comes out? 🌼

Thank you for posting this lovely review! 😊 Lammas has always been my favorite sabbat. It’s super underrated and I have read so many times that it’s witches’ least favorite sabbat in general. This deck definitely has a great potential of helping one connecting to the energy of Lammas. It’s a warm, abundant, inviting energy. I love the gratefulness theme about it too. It also has a feeling of coziness. It’s still summer but by Lammas it’s noticeable that the days are already getting shorter and we are entering the darker half of the year as summer solstice is long gone and fall is approaching. My favorite card from the deck is “Coming of fall”. It depicts the energy of Lammas wonderfully. I have this deck, and also the Mabon, Samhain, and Yule decks. I connect with the darker half of the year more when the days are shortening. So with buying the Lammas deck, I completed my collection. 💚

I absolutely adore this deck series, I have all of them except the ones published this year but I will have them next year! I use them whenever I'm called to, but I pull from them on their holiday too😊
