It looks like a really substantial deck, with the guidebook itself being a good old read!! The quality of it is what you’d expect from an indie deck! Not for me but very impressive xx

The art on this is STUNNING! I passed on it because I typically dont work with these kinds of decks and the few that I do have just sit... I may have to get this one though. I hope they do a Gods Deck in the same fashion! It would be great to have a set.

Ereshkigal is Sumerian and Inanna's sister. Badb and Macha are two aspects of the Morrigan, who is my patron and one of my patrons

Ereshkigal and Inanna are sisters. There is a mythos regarding them as the sisters of Heaven and the Earth and Hell and the Underworld. One of the most famous mythos is that of Inannas descent to the Underworld to go save her sister Ereshkigal whom she had condemned to be punished by being hung on a meat hook. The Journey to the Dark Goddess from this original mythos has echoed through many traditions in regards to working with dark goddesses in womb spaces (i.e., caves, underworld, any container of energy). Ereskigals Greek equivalent is Hekate.

The art work is beautiful! I wonder if the book goes into an explanation of the choices of symbolism. And I also wonder if there is a reason for the differentiation of maiden/mother/crone. I do wish the crones were represented as crones; that is, if they were older women, as all the goddesses are represented as relatively. young.

This deck sounds so interesting with two cards for each Goddess. The book looks so lovely and the cards are beautiful, such a well
presented set. Another one for the ever increasing wish list 😆 I also like that we have the other two aspects of the Morrigan in Badb and Macha and of course I love that Arianrohd is there and Blodeuwedd 😍❤️

I love the artwork, but am a little confused about the two cards for each goddess. Even so I am considering this deck for my collection.

Badb is the crone aspect of the Morrigan (; I pronounce it BAYVE. And Macha is the mother aspect of the Morrigan ❤

The Morrigan's triple aspects may be sisters or counterparts, she doesn't have Maiden, Mother & Crone functions as there is no reference to this in Irish tradition.

@@fern463 I know there are a lot of traditionalist and reconstruction style paths to the Celtic path and with the Morrigan specifically. I share what I know from my personal connection to her. There's a big division in the belief over a triple aspect, or sister aspect, but texts about her in mythos is hard to come by. Many work with her in a triple, and many do not. I respect how you see her and have a personal relationship with her, though (:
