I've got a couple of High Sheriffs in my ancestry and I hope they weren't the villains that the Sheriff of Nottingham was! Very pretty art in this deck.

Stunning, stunning artwork, but personally I think a mistake to just use sepia for the places - we want the 'place' to be evocative, to immerse in the 'greenness' of the wild. For the same reason I found the colour palette of the other cards lovely but could have been so much more. I love everything about the idea of this deck but there are so many other aspects to the concept and the legend that could have involved more cards. I do think this could have been spectacular...

These are lovely cards. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people who don't even read oracle cards yet buy this deck. A lot of us out here feel a connection to Sherwood Forest because we were raised on The Adventures of Robin Hood, starring Richard Greene, which was filmed on location in Sherwood Forest. It's such a beautiful deck! I was lucky enough to see John and Mark at an event at Atlantis Bookshop in London and there is so much detail in the cards... for example, each card also has a tree associated with it.
I've only been doing single card pulls so far but it's a great deck to work with. Unexpectedly, I've valued the challenges from the adversary cards. When I get time I'm going to explore the reading layouts.

Neither had I until I spotted it in a Nisa store. On the back of the bottle it reads.
Be taken through Nottinghamshire pines of Sherwood Forest. Feel balanced through the earthy notes of Cedar, Mandarin and Juniper.
Morrisons, Asda Co-op, Tesco, and ocado also sell it.
