Oh My Goddess! I love the backs and also the book - that is what sold me on it, I had a quick read of some of the book while you were showing it Simon and they were very good definitions. Bought it on those two things alone. Love it and cant wait to have it delivered. Thank you again for your time and walkthroughs! Fantastic!

I’ve been done buying decks for a while now…not worth asking me how that’s going as you probably can guess the answer 😆

I love the Majors in this deck and my favourite card has to be the Devil. It’s a shame the Minors are a bit pipish but to be fair it’s not too bad, I think I could still read with it. For me with pip decks it’s not even about not being able to read it, just when I see basic pips my brain just goes ‘boring’ and switches off 😆 this is a lovely deck though, really nice use of colour too 😍❤️

Love it!! So much! Did you notice in the seven of cups the question mark… the cups make like a question mark design ..💛?

I’m not a huge fan of pip decks but this one doesn’t look too bad, I think I could work with it anyway and I really like the majors. It’s on my list but I’ll probably get the Old Style Tarot first

Absolutely LOVE this deck. I know I love a deck when I buy a new Tarot wrap for it hahaha 🤣. Thanks for the walkthrough and your opinions Simon 😊🥰

Where do you get your tarot wraps, Moran, if you don’t mind me asking?

@@the_hermits_cave I get them from a small UK shop, the lady is called Marie, she’s absolutely lovely and her wraps are very good quality. I’ll send you a link, her Etsy shop is called Ginkgo&thecrone I believe.

I'm loving the old style but this would make a fantastic transition deck. I think that the Strength card was originally going to be after the Wheel in the Justice position and I wonder if the change was made and then altering the text was forgotten. Would be interesting to know if any clues in the text for the Justice card...

I love that artstyle and colouring! However, there is something I can't unsee, and asked on other channels, but never got an answer... I would like to know about the Star card, if it's just my eyes, maybe I look at it in a weird way....can you see an additional creepy little hand coming out of one ellbow, and an extra (third) wing on the same side? Or do I need to look at it differently? And if it's not my "weird view", do you know if that is supposed to mean something special? Is there a traditional 3 handed- 3 winged Archangel or something?
Thanks for reviewing, apart from that thing in the Star, I think it is a really cool "modern - traditional" design, that maybe would also make a good pocket size deck.

I don’t see that at all. I took a picture and expanded it. There are just stars at the sides of the elbows

@@the_hermits_cave Thank you so much! Funny...but I'm glad it's just me, so I'll watch a flipthrough every now and then and try to learn to unsee it, and if I succeed, this will come on my wishlist. Thanks for your effort!

@@the_hermits_cave SOmeone answered on another channel I asked the same question, and they explained that what I saw as a creepy hand is actually the claw of an eagle, being behind the star. I didn't see the eagle's head before, so I thought it's the woman's wings and that claw was just strange! I'm a bit embarrassed, as I looked at that part of the card so closely to figure it out, and totally missed the bird's head.

There it is! I saw a picture of this Star card somewhere and didn't know what deck it was from. Definitely will buy this deck. The Star is what makes or brakes a deck for me 😊

I, too, prefer the Old Style although the smaller cards in this deck definitely appeal to me and the backs are really beautiful. It's a very nice deck, as you say, feels like Fyodor Pavlov's art style overall. I think the Minor Arcana would make a great teaching tool for pip and eventually TdM readings. Thank you for sharing, Simon.
