As a football fan (not City), it annoys me intensely when idiots start talking about any clubs, especially clubs like City and Chelsea and claim 'there is no history.' Both clubs are well over a hundred years old and between them hold the highest attendance records (on a single day) at their respective grounds. Very many clubs have long and important histories, and just because they may not have won prestigious titles prior to a wealthy takeover, that does not mean they are any less significant than the speakers favourite club. Personally, when I think of clubs with a history I tend to go towards Notts County, Aston Villa and Arsenal. Arsenal, especially, have a special importance in the game - and again, I am not a Gooner.

But beyond those who seem to refuse to acknowledge the difference, there are many who, reasonably, find it irritating. It doesn't matter that the nature of City's possible misdemeanors are different, it must rackle if you are a team that is suffering as a result of being found guilty. And let's not forget that they are much poorer than City in the first place.
I don't like the slur that City is a manufactured club. You have to have a huge history in order to be accepted for your success? A huge part of City's success is based around their manager. That is fundamentally false. City were not proven guilty by UEFA, they were banned by UEFA for 2 years, that was later overturned at CAS, because they stopped cooperating, because UEFA were leaking the evidence City were giving them to the New York Times, so they banned City.
At CAS, the case covered 5 financial years, the evidence for the case was presented for all 5 years by City and UEFA and the CAS ruled that UEFA had no serious evidence, and City’s witnesses and accounts proved innocence.
In the CAS report it states there was no established evidence from UEFA on 9 different occasions.
The first 2 financial years of the case were time-barred, the latter 3 were not, but the evidence was the same for all 5 years and didn’t change year on year, as it was for general accounts.
CAS felt so strongly about it they overturned UEFA’s decision, UEFA then had the right of appeal and declined, because their evidence got hammered.
It’s all in the report, online, that is free, just google it and educate yourself.

Thats why we call United fans like Brad, The Scum, they have no respect.
Every club that has bought a player is a manufactured club.
City has its own history like every other club in the country, unique to their fans.
Brad the United fan is a disgrace for United. They don't like it when other teams mock their history, yet they go and give it out just as bad to other clubs.
I know lots of United fans, we have the rival banter, but we know what the lines we dont cross. At least we do in Manchester.
Maybe Brad is one of those Southerner United fans that has never even been to Old Trafford?

Once upon a time a seed was planted in an empty field called Anfield and with some careful watering a stadium grew out of the field organically. With some good manure the club was born. Players were also planted and were carefully grown out of the ground. Salah, Van Dyk, Allison etc were carefully picked from the ground. This is the way an organically grown club is built. Unlike other clubs with no history.

You really don't know your own clubs history. Liverpool were founded by John Houlding (former links to Everton and an Orange man of all things) Littlewoods money propelled them into superstars from late 60's. They could buy the best, and they did, even when mid table in div 2. That huge cash injection from dirty gambling money (let's have it right) saw them smash everyone in 70's and 80's. Money has always talked in pro football - Liverpool, Utd, City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Wigan, Wolves, Preston, etc...ALL the same in ethos..spend to win - just some have deeper pockets - end of

The evidence is being witheld until the hearing.
These man city fans are in denial.
"Where's the proof?" They keep saying.
This city fan must know that before the new owners city were a nothing club in a nothing stadium.
As soon as the new owners came in they sponsored their own ground for a world record £400 million and suddenly started spending £100m to £250 milion each summer instead of £10 million.😂

The evidence is in the public domain and has already been viewed substantially by CAS in the other case. The premier league think they can get City largely due to time bound nature of UEFA but CAS didn’t take any view on those charges. Nothing to suggest City won’t successfully refute these charges…again.
