9:13 9:13 9:13 9:13 9:13 9:13 9:13 9:13 It's FFP that will stop Villa. It's actually unfair. Because what you have is man city a power house who have established themselves by spending heavily and breaking all rules, which over all these years, bias not been dealt with. They are a product of the PL, they bring in marketing, revenue and maybe a reason why this is going slow.
All city do every year is sign a top player because that's all they need to do as they have established themselves. So how are teams like Villa supposed to use 60 million to buy a CL squad..you can't buy a top player for 90 million these days. It's going to be playing out of skins while teams like city can have Haaland and de bruyne out and still walk the league. It such a frauddddd

Let’s face it chances are we are not going to win the Premiership or Champions League next season.
    Can’t stop us dreaming.
But let’s look at a few things here.
Man City are still facing serious issues in regards to the charges they face.
The FA and Premier League have backed themselves into a corner with letting the issue fester for so long, so whatever they do now there’s going to be more serious legal issues coming from the out come either way!
Man United have been declining since Ferguson left absolutely rudderless!
    Arsenal bottle it.
Liverpool can win Champions League without winning the premier league.
Chelsea don’t know what is going on.
Spurs, big six without winning anything?
Villa, it saddens me to say but will struggle in Europe, but considering some of the injuries we’ve had have done ok in what only amounts to a season and a half of Uni Emery.
A European competition semi final and a champions league place from facing relegation?
How would Pep and Klopp do if they weren’t there with there resources?
I have said it before, if given time Emery could be a new Ron Saunders!
I think most Villa fans realistically would be content with just being competitive and being in the mix for league, cups and European places!

It's both! Emery has taught us since he arrived to embrace and enjoy the moment, to not fear challenges while keeping an eye on the future and our dreams.
We are all in this together and its the most fun we've had in decades. It makes a difference who leads you and we're being led by a really honest, hardworking, no fuss and incredibly talented Manager who demands excellence from his players and coaches them so they can meet his demands. His coaching and tactical awareness is astounding.

Simon is correct about the challenge but Unai is more likely to get poached than get the sack. The reason for this is because he has a style and will buy players to suit that. The signed players who have delivered quickly have been Unai singings, Pau and Moreno, those who have made it, Bailey and Morgan have made it due to Unai's coaching. Others have struggled a little, such as Duran. So with Mings and Duran to return, it'll only take 3 of 4 Unai signings to keep up momentum, though granted 4th is a big ask next season.

So what if they do struggle? They’ll have £120m in the bank and have massively overachieved. Not a single Villa fan will complain if they struggle a bit next year and don’t qualify for Europe. They know this has been a fantastic season and they’re going to have fun next year no matter what happens. Even if they only qualify for the Europa Conference in the future, playing in Europe will give them experience, even if it’s just the schedule. Klopp says constantly that qualifying for the UEFA Cup with Mainz was key in his career, because even though they didn’t do amazingly in it, the fans loved it, it made money for the club and it gave him the necessary experience of managing a team across multiple competitions. Players will benefit from it massively too.

What with the money the Champions League brings us and our multi Billionaire owners who support our club and manager... We will clear 3 or 4 players out and buy 3 class players and we will challenge for the top 3.... We lost at least 15 points due to set pieces because we've had 3 influencial players out for most of the season .... If Villa get there back line right next season and get 1 or 2 others in we could shock many.....we have to remember there is city Liverpool and Arsenal above us ...I think we could take one of them teams positions... We have ÂŁ105 million to spend because of the sponsorship deals and champions leagues etc... if we sell 3 or 4 we could have ÂŁ150 million to strengthen our squad.... But 8th is just pathetic.... Chelsea and Newcastle will improve next season..

Decimiated by injuries, went further than any other English side and didn't fall away from top 4 as everyone predicted ....
