â@@StockTricksexcept you don't, but ok.
@@StockTricks It's better than sending the club into administration, like Simon Jordan did, almost making himself bankrupt in the process. Still, he's a financial expert, don't you know. He's the only failed club owner in history who knows better than everyone else. According to himself, at least.

Dougie Freedman is the man who spotted these talents and persuaded them to come. For example, he was at Wharton's debut for Blackburn. He builds relationships over time. Does it the hard way.
With regard to the lure of big clubs, yes, but don't discount the fact that Palace is a lovely club to be at, from top to bottom. Eze and Olise are both young enough to know they can enjoy another season at Palace - there is plenty of time to move on bigger things later. Palace is like a big family and some players really appreciate that environment.
Yep, good community club too, Freedman has done a great job signing up Championship players who've stepped up into Premier League

As a newcastle fan I fully agree. Great to see villa pushing on and now Crystal Palace starting to shine.

â@@Redandwhite_bluesuedeshoesthese players have ambition,it might not work out like Zaha but they will leave for a bigger club.
It wasnât Ron Noades that sold the land behind the Whitehorse to Sainsburyâs as Jordan alluded to, it was the previous chairman to him, Ray Bloye. Also sold a few of our best players at cutdown prices to QPR. Ron came in and had to loads of debt and had to clear it all up.
Crystal Palace has a really exciting team & many of the key players are fairly young. If they were to keep this team together for at least 1 more year they could challenge for Europe next season
They're great to watch without all the diving and getting in the face of the Referee.
How could Simon have applied for planning permission when he never owned the stadium đ€„
There's no legal bar & the Local Authority aren't interested in ownership. You could apply to put a conservatory up on next door's house. Odd I know but there we are

If palace can convince all these guys to stick together for just one more season, then palace will be very interesting next season.

It's a big IF, but based on the last 10 games top 6 would look attainable
Depends if they want to win trophies. Be honest. That won't happen at Palace.
@@TranscendentalDentistrubbish, selling those players mean weâd have to start a rebuild again and chuck away the opportunity to win something. Ron Noades had a team with Wright, Bright, Martyn, Collymore, Southgate, Sakako on it that finished 3rd in the first divisionâŠwe won a cup at Wembley then Noades oversaw the dismantling of that team. Question for Simon and Talksport in general. Why are Palace and their fans allowed to want to watch a better brand of football and West Ham arenât? Why bring West Ham and the stadium up for no reason atall and downplay the conference league win? Bias against the club throughout the media at the moment is ridiculous

Both could move to much bigger and better clubs than Villa. Ollie will end up at either PSG, City or Real. But hopefully not for another season.
McKenna would be bonkers if he went to Brighton. Ipswich, although they have been down a while, has a great history and legacy. Better to stay there. Brighton are a prime candidate to drop down sooner rather than later. The whole Brighton recruitment algorithm is boring to hear about and overrated and seems like that strategy is built on a house of cards actually.
Of course it's overrated, just imagine buying 3 players for about 35 to 40 million, and selling then selling them on for about 235 million. Yes I see your point.
Olise & Eze are perpetual sick notes, stay away from them!
Wharton is the one I would buy from Palace for Liverpool
100m sell them and rebuild a decent palace team
Palace might have killed themselves by allowing their best players to have release clauses
It was a compromise. Commit to this season and we will give you new contracts, with big pay increases. The release clauses were added so that Palace got a decent sum for them. I believe Olise already had one for ÂŁ30m, which Chelsea triggered. This way we got another season from them, and bigger releases clauses in their contracts. Turns out they were injured for half if it.
I can see your point but Palace also needs to build a first-class reputation as a destination for players with long-term ambition. Agreeing to release clauses while also offering development, playing time, and a platform to win int'l football (as have Eze, Guehi, Mitchell, and before them, Gallagher during his loan season) all help burnish that reputation. Release clauses also establish pricing clarity and value protection during the windows. You can always lose players, especially clubs like Palace that aren't in the can't-be-relegated cartel. What fans hate is losing players for far too cheap.
Palace can want better football But you slated West ham fans for wanting the same
You lot are a bunch of Hypocrites !

Keown was barely an invincible...in fact he's never been invincible at anything in his sad little existence.
Whatever, Palace have no chance of holding on to Eze and Olise and ironically will probably end up at a side like Villa, players that talented will not be content messing around with a mid table side they want to be playing at the highest level, that being the Champions League, Its just a fact Im afraid.
Villa were not interested; on the beach; exhausted; champagne league!

Simon Jordan has a personal vendetta against West Ham. He knows very well that West Ham are a step up from Palace.

But they never be close to Europe or fighting for trophies , staying up for them is a good result every season. Glasner a very good coach I will add , but there a selling club. They beat alot of teams end of season that was already on the beach and waiting for next aeaaaon , so you canât put anything on it , until next season in my eyes .
I know that Brighton and Palace are supposed to have a "rivalry" (never known anyone who actually cares about it), but I've loved seeing Palace do well. The way Mateta, Olise, and Eze have been playing together second half of the season has been fantastic to watch and they deserved to finish above us. Sadly, like our own best players, I can't see them staying together at Palace for long. The money of the big clubs is just to much to turn down when they come knocking and if the success continues, you may find the come looking to poach Glasner as well.
Then you clearly know no Palace or Weed fans then.
Every player has a price, I'm just not convinced they would want to go and spend half the season on a bench somewhere, instead of playing week in, week out. Add into the equation that they are best friends off the pitch, and I'm not convinced either of them leave this summer. Unlike Marc Guehi, who is odds on to leave - at the right price...
@@timetofloatstafford Mate, I hope you are right because, like I said, it's been great watching them. If Palace can retain them and stay on form, then I can see them potentially getting European football next season. Let's just hope that the big teams aren't offering enough to tempt them away.
