Borson was part of the sportswashing that took place between 2010 and 18 the period where city wasn't that popular abroad and had never been as popular as spurs in 2010 in Britain and still not in 2024? How their commercial revenue rocketed while matchday revenue was half of spurs? They was just becoming relevant in the Premier league again from 2010? By 2018 established and from then on yes they was self sustainable? But to say they they was extremely profitable in that decade is a myth!

Just look at the amount of business City have done since the Premier League announced the charges a year ago.
Surely if the writing was on the wall for City, these companies wouldn’t be touching us with a barge pole knowing we could be playing Altrincham instead of Liverpool?
Yet all of the below has been signed and sealed since we were charged.
This is a huge indicator that they’ve been given solid assurances, and possibly even been privy to City’s “comprehensive body of evidence” proving we have done nothing wrong, allowing them to confidently partner with us without worrying about the future.
A brief summary of our commercial development since being charged…
Kellogg’s - Breakfast product supply partner plus multi year stadium commercial advertising deal
CP Company - Off field clothing partner
Qualtrics - Experience management software partner
Rexona (Sure) - Renewed long term sponsorship deal
Joie - Academy Stadium naming rights and women’s team sponsorship deal
OKX - Additional sleeve sponsorship deal
Midea - Renewed long term partnership
Nissan - New deal extending partnership to City’s official charity as well as club Inclusion diversity and equality affairs
Nexen Tyre - New long term sponsorship renewal
ChallengerMode - Official Esports platform partner
Asahi Superdry - New deal extending sponsorship to training kits
      Axi - Renewed global partnership
Jio - Official Club Telecoms partner in India
Keep spouting 115 at your own risk…

Depends what you're talking about. 5 of the charges relate to Uefa, on which city WERE found guilty and overturned at CAS due to time barring. Having been found guilty and let off on a technicality, that's pretty straightforward. 40 charges (and potentially increasing, as this is up to 2018) are of not co operating with the Premier League 's investigation and remit.Again City tried to legally bar the investigation into them (not an outcome, just the whole investigation). So that's pretty strong. The rest will be difficult,as proving City 'knowingly ' cheated the financial restraints of FFP, will probably rely on the 'leaked' evidence from a suspected hack. That legally speaking is 'fruit of the poisoned tree', and undermines everything unless the Premier League has stronger evidence. The funny bit, is that the Premier League have no knowledge of City goings on, because City won't co operate (a charge they deny lol) but a lack of evidence IS proof of not giving up financial records, something which City signed up to do.😅

In any case the amount was a piffling £3.5m hardly an amount to make City able to dominate in the future which is what this is all about. Why would they have irregular acts re sponsorship etc when the owners have the financial clout to draw upon legitimate sponsors, sign any player they want within the realms of financial fair play and invest their own money into the building of the club. It makes no sense as to why irregularities would be at play????

City are a tiny club who nobody was ever going to sponsor with serious amounts of cash. The owners had to basically use their own companies to sponsor their own club and build it up into a slightly less tiny club. I keep saying this but the premier league are the authors of their own misfortune in terms of the amount of time that the City case is taking to come to a hearing. Any half decent prosecutor, and I was one, knows full well that if you have a very large number of allegations, the best of those must be picked out and only those proceeded upon. These are called specimen charges. If that is not done, the you have a case which is out of control in that the preparation time can take years, the witnesses will have forgotten what they had to say, and the jury/tribunal will have so many facts and figures to absorb that it is beyond their capacity. This is why Stefan is right.

You seem to think the 115 charges are each unique, that's wrong. There are basically 4-5 chargers that are multipled over the period EPL have investigate the club (2009 to 2018) and multipled again by being a breach of both EPL and UEFA laws, then you have about 30 charges based on City failure to cooperate with the investigation in the period (2019-2023). The problem is that the case was made public with all it's many charges without EPL seemingly having done any actual work in the 4 years it took them "investigating". No new evidence have been made public (most are still based on the UEFA-case that UEFA lost against City), and as a fact we know they have not been in contact with the key people named in the case, like Mancini. This case shows the ineptitude of EPL. The case should never have been brought forward without new solid evidence, but was likely just rushed just as a sign of strenght in the face of a possible new independent regulator which may take their power away. It seems silly writing the case was rushed after 4 years investigation, but looking at the case and the facts we know, it just can't be explained in other words. You can't expect to present serious criminal chargers (these aren't just about breaking football rules, these are criminal chargers as cooking the books, tax evasion, collusion etc) and then not having done any serious leg work in gathering evidence and taking statements of the involved parties.

However, it's still true that accounts and evidence will have to be looked at and countered for each and every one of the allegations if the PL still decide to contest them all. City can't allow any to slip through the net. I agree entirely about the PL ineptitude. The Regulator is now on us in short order and so let's hope that they decide to take over. I have no hope that the PL tribunal will be impartial whatever they say.
