Explain how he is scared? Or maybe he is uncertain? But if you will really know anything about myth u should know that Ares defended Hera then Zeus sent him to kill the Aloads but they trap him in jar due to his terrifying rage/power. Don't forget also that Ares's scream had the strength of a thousand spartans. And I do not think that the city of Ares has walls unlike the cowardly followers of Athena or Artemis. So saying something like you said is really stupid, lying and false.
Artemis found him after year and with help of Hermes or fast Deer break the jar which result to their deaths.
However, the ending is unclear when they kill both themself by arrow/spear dodged by fast Hermes or dodged by artemis transformed into deer
but that's too damn dumb and stretched story resulted in to many variants Artemis transformation kills aloads , Hermes' fast speed kills aloads or Ares's fury kills aloads.

Artemis is goddess of hunt and maidenhood, and not much interested in romance (with Orion being notable exception, but at the time they were already long time friends).
Selene on the other hand, once saw a pretty boy and.... she wanted to watch his sleeping face forever.

I love how Artemis went and saved the others, because in the myth, when Ares was captured, the other gods were too afraid to fight them, and didn't care about Ares. But when the giants said they wanted to marry Artemis and Hera, Artemis went over to them and killed them easily, and freed Ares. Great story guys, keep up the good work!!!

To all of the people demanding more episodes and content please realize that the small team behind this has an even smaller budget and only one person is working on these animations, be respectful.

I like how Gaia isn't mad at eris or anyone else but rather just worried like the mother she is
Anyone else notice when Medusa was talking about being stabbed in the back and getting decapitated and Sphega told her to stop whining cause she got it back. That means Medusa already had lost her head to Perseus and already went through that whole ordeal and then somehow got her head back and it refused and now she's a complete body again. I got a few questions for this whole dynamic here cause the head was then given to Athena after Perseus saved Andromeda and was placed on Athena's shield. My head is having trouble loading the information now.
Same! Especially since Medusa is mortal in the myths. But it was fun to see what I can only assume is Perseus turned into stones. That story is also the reason I don't really see Athena as one of the good guys.
You know in mythology a lot of absurdal stuff happens. I do not think there is anything that cannot happen in Greek myths.
@@Megaspinosaurusrex Actually Medusa being a mortal transformed by Athena is a more recent legend, before that she was an immortal like any gorgon. Point is don't sweat the details too much, the myths aren't consistent either.

Haha she was looking rather mint-inspired, I was wondering what that would be about! I thought maybe that a nymph happened to be one of Hades' many love interests and he decided to animate her as a mint leaf nymph. I had no idea but that's funny! They do a lot of people becoming animals and plants in the myths, don't they? :/
@@roseagt5902 i know 2 versions of the story basically the first one was on Minthe trying to seduce Hades but Persephone caught her and turned her to mint. The other version was on Minthe bad mouthing Persephone and Demeter was the one who turned her into mint.
I wonder how the show will handle this! Can't wait to see~

For those wondering why the episodes come in late, it's because it's all animated by one person.
Please stop complaining and trying to rush them. They work very hard just to make one 15-minute episode.
Think about this, they work on the script, dialogue, character designs, backgrounds, editing their movements and not to mention the voice actors!
It takes a lot of time and effort to be able to work with multiple people and make sure they are on the same page. Don't forget the pay! They also have to pay the voice actors for their work. It's not free.

I’d love to see it become a Disney+ Original, but unfortunately once Disney buys the rights to a person’s animated Series or something like that; they own it even if the creator is no longer working with Disney or associated with them. So it would be up to Disney to continue or cancel it.
Same with Netflix, Hulu (owned by Disney) and whatever tv company buys the rights.
Disney bought the rights to a series I developed called; Nadia the Brave last year, but they never aired the pilot episode or any part of the series itself. Nadia was supposed to have an Early 2020 premiere date, but Disney decided that since they currently have a show on the air right now with an LGBTQ+ main protagonist, it isn’t worth having any others. So I got a direct deposit check of $1,600 and then Disney decided that my show would be too similar to The Owl House for LGBTQ+ representation but over all the Disney execs loved it and said they would love to see it on air, but I doubt that will happen right now. If I made Nadia a normal Autistic girl who also happens to be Muslim, they may air the series, but they won’t air or premiere it because it has a Main Protagonist who is Transgender and it take place in the small imperial kingdom of Saliah which is located in the EverRealm. We even were supposed to have appearances from Elena, Isabel, Naomi, Sofia, Hildegard and Amber, which would of course have to bring back the original voice actors for Elena of Avalor and Sofia the First.
Craig Gerber (a personal friend of my family’s) said he would help develop and produce the series, some friends of mine who are in animation said they would do the animation for “Nadia the Brave”, and then I requested that either Alex, Dana or Daron help me with producing the series. And lastly; I asked my third cousin; Jenny Jordan (an editor working for Disney and is on the production team for The Owl House) to be my editor and I asked a person I know who is the author of the fairytale/fantasy genre to write the storyline and scripts for my show and she agreed.
However; Disney has neither announced Confirmation of the series nor stated that the show was going to be canceled before it ever premiered. So, as far as I know; the series may or may not premiere and if it does end up premiering on the air; it will most likely be in late 2021 or early to mid 2022.

I don’t know... I’d rather it was just on CZcams with the animation, writing and voice-acting it has now. I’m worried that if it was bought by a company they might change it too much and it’s too good at the moment to change it. Maybe once the series is finished, a company could do a few spin-offs, but I’d rather at least for now it stayed with the original creators. It totally deserves to be ‘professionally’ made (that sounds like it’s better than the creators it has now, I didn’t mean it that way, just that it deserves the extra funding and publicity it would get if it were made by Disney for example) but the professionals probably couldn’t do this without messing it up. Think of it like the Sims 4 and Paralives (if you like simulation games, which isn’t very similar to this but I can’t think of a better example). The big company isn’t as close to the fans and therefore doesn’t take into account their opinions and requests as much.
What WOULD be cool in my opinion is if Disney payed the creators of this to use the models in the future of using the gods in their work - for example, on the Disney adaptation of Percy Jackson. They could base the live-action character designs off the way they are drawn in this, like with the clothes, hair dye, maybe painting their skin for the more unnatural colours.
The 1st episode I've seen of this left an impact to me that I could still recall it and since I saw that video of the creator showing sketches and discussing about the series and how he work on this alone... my art lover self just have so much respect to the person behind this beautiful masterpiece (my love for myth aside) and knowing how long it would take for the episodes to be released I waited it out and held back to watch this until it have like over 5 to 10 eps... but apparently eps.2&3 keeps appearing in my feed and I couldn't resist anymore so here I am...
I'd still wait for the next episodes no matter how long, the arstyle on this is just my type and the voice actors sounded incredible...

So good! As someone who grew up with my great grandma telling me the myths and being totally obsessed with the Greek gods as a consequence, I just love it! Even at 25 I just love what you've done! Let me preface. I happen to be Pagan, Egyptian path but still in the club as it were. This is marvellous, entertaining and a brilliant riff on the mythology. I am so impressed I can't give it words. You have the potential here of being in a class with the Last Air Bender series. I'll be watching for more. Wonderful work. You've stayed true to the 'personality s' of the god forms while making a great entertainment. The Chronus line in episode line, "I could eat you all up," made me laugh out loud.

Kronos isn't evil. He paranoia took over him when Gaia told him that one of his children was going to take over him one day so he swallowed all of them and stopped trusting his family as a whole.

I felt bad for Aphrodite this episode because Hera called her "heartless" and "selfish" that fight was so sick thank you so much for another episode of this wonderful series. It really soothes me as a PJO fan, and Goddess Girls series fan and a person who likes greek mythology.

@@dhoomback1561 it was, when you think about it Eris and Eos are technically cousins. They’re parents are sisters I believe and they contrast with each other. Day and Night, darkness and light. So this is probably a stepping stone for Eris to become a villain at some point.

This is an animation... Hephaestus was crippled or deformed god ( but a major powerful Olympian)

Not just one brother, but several. Across several different sources, Aphrodite had children with Ares, Hermes, and Dionysus. And even their uncle, Poseidon. And still, Aphro and Heph never had any children of their own. Hephaestus has children with Aglaea, his second wife, after his divorce from Aphrodite
Hephaestus also cheated on Aphrodite a bunch. People seem to skip that part of the relationship.

Zeus promised Aphrodite to Hephaestus if he freed Hera from her throne, but also to prevent a war amongst the gods for her hand. Neither loved each other, but I think Hephaestus didn't particularly like being cuckolded

There used to be such series in abundance today? Nothing. This series is just as good as hazbin hotel, such great series. Please continue.
Big companies are hardly creative coz when company grows people become just numbers and then communication within company members is lost.
I LOVE all the references in this sm and also the way Aphrodite is depicted its so refreshing seeing her being actually nice to others AND showing appreciation for Hephaestus
