    The thing with the restaurant and the guy slipping and falling, that's why you have mats in place. You have to have mats down to reduce falls depending on the work space

    It seems the alarm should have been fitted with a glow-in-the-dark apparatus of some sort. Hope businesses heed this advice. Also, I too wondered where the buddy was for 5 hours. Then again, the owner said the alarm was near the eggs....

    If the buddy system and your rule says you have to have someone stand by the door or someone in the refrigerator with you, buddy system could have had two people would have frostbite. If there is an alarm, can you see it in the dark

    I'm glad the delivery driver got his bag, that looks brutal! Honestly, I'm kind of surprised they didn't highlight the cardboard on the floor more! That's what sold it for me! No matter her systems, or if someone had been there, he still would have broken his ankle on that. Then the handle nah you are liable. Floors should be clear of hazards. Someone should be there when receiving inventory. All personnel working in the fridge should be made aware of the emergency button. No one would withstand frostbite knowing that button was there. It calls into question whether she properly communicated the buddy system or not. He may have taken it as someone should be there for inventory, not safety. Should he have skipped her delivery because she didn't hold up her end, probably? Should he have had to anticipate a boobie-trapped fridge? Absolutely not.

  • @PrinceDamienSilves
    @PrinceDamienSilves Před 9 měsíci +1

    For the first case, and I'm surprised I'm the only one even bringing this up. If the latch was JUST SERVICED, how did it fail and lock? I've worked in coolers, I've worked in walk in freezers. There's a SIGNIFICANT amount of force you have to swing those doors shut to get it to LOCK. Especially when it's manditory to have a built in way to unlatch the door from the inside. So either the repair is fabricated, the repairman scammed them, or someone intentionally latched the door.
    And as the defendant said, where was the buddy? How did NO ONE question for FIVE HOURS why the delivery truck was still there, why he never checked in that the order was completed? I know there's a check in. Even at small businesses the delivery guy/girl lets someone of management know that the product's been delivered.
    So my question is this. How did no one question it for five hours and it NOT be the fault of the restaurant? Like really. No one disappears into the kitchen for five hours without someone questioning it. So what it's sounding more like is negligence. There is no way that one of the servers or kitchen staff pointed out that the truck was still there. And a restaurant never once opens its cooler for five hours? Really? No one else sees that there's way more to this than what it looks like on the surface?
    P.S. It takes 10 seconds of google to find that they have to legally change the names of the people, and locations for the show. The episodes are based on actual court cases.

    by far the hardest part of fasting is the boredom. If you've never done a multiday fast, you have no idea the enormous amount of your daily time is spent thinking about, preparing, or eating food. Depending on your lifestyle, it can be really hard to fill all that extra free time. If you want a fast to be easy, start it when you are very busy

    The personal injury court is a court that deals with personal injuries. The court is responsible for settling disputes between people who have been injured by the negligence of another person. These cases include car accidents, slips, falls, dog bites, etc. The personal injury court is not a real court, but a fictitious court.
