    Verdict in first case correct. Second case is wrong, it should have partial judgement bc despite him being too fast and possibly not paying attention (doubt it bc he saw their equipment in the path) they should've been partial responsible for the injury due to putting their stuff in the path and should've stayed away from the path so a golf cart can make it through regaurdless were they r or their stuff is. As everyone puts it common sense.

    • @johnniemccalister5386
      @johnniemccalister5386 Před rokem +2

      No he should have stopped before hitting her. But hit her and chose to keep going. Otherwise I would agree with you, their things should not be on the path but he should have stopped

    • @tylercoy6619
      @tylercoy6619 Před rokem +3

      @johnnie McCalister Don't disagree, but at the same time, her father has been golfing before and knew not to do that. Also knew his daughter was having a hard time, had a medical condition, and should've had her move to where he was able to better communicate or, as I said before, move away or tell her to move away from the path in case something like this could and unfortunately did happen since there r carts out and about. Common sense was needed regardless for both parties involved.

    • @alvaneshaowens1898
      @alvaneshaowens1898 Před rokem +1

      Either way , what’s worse hitting a couple of bags and destroying your cart or hitting, injuring, and possibly killing a human being?

    • @tylercoy6619
      @tylercoy6619 Před rokem +3

      @Alvanesha Owens Look at the chart that was used, ur suggesting he did it intentionally out of irritation of how loud they were. The chart shows its a straight path with slight bends, indicating that even when going fast it shouldn't have been so close to the daughter near the sand trap even when going fast. That tells us they did have their stuff in the path bc if their stuff wasn't there then he did it intentionally or going so fast he lost control (doubt it bc it still won't explain y he was still so close or y the daughter didn't get a notice or shouting from him and u would hear skidding or something approaching faster than what was described towards her. Also he wouldve crashed if this was the case). Also obviously the bags, but it's called courtesy to not do that and prevent everyone from having a bad day, which unfortunately still happened. Again, unfortunately, this happened, but as said before, more common sense was needed for both parties involved

    Pretty brazen of golf guy to respond to the judge's naming of this plaintiff's medical condition but asking if it was even a real thing, like the judge wouldn't have looked it up to just wing it. I would need to look at the word myself to see how to say it and see if the definition can be deduced (later) by checking if there are root- words i can pick out and the first one, because i know the name of this condition begins with "spon-", I know it's spinal. And the end is "- thesis"
    And it was a word built by word nerds by combing parts of other words. You know.., back when the world still made sense...
