      That’s a bit much, accusing the owner of releasing her dogs on purpose without a shred of evidence, only supposition. Ridiculous! I too agree that the injured woman should have gotten something to cover her injuries. But the property was properly identified as having dogs on site, which would have been observed if the mother and son hadn’t cut across the lawn to get to the front door. I believe the dog owner should be partly responsible for the woman’s medical costs for her physical injuries only.

      @tinadavis7016 the dogs bite with out being provoked. Not to mention there was no sign claiming no trespassing in the main yard. Nor any sign in the front windows of the home. I have beware of dogs signs on both sides of my fence and in my front window. If you have territorial dogs or guard dogs that are large enough to jump a fence to attack by standards then you should pay the price. What if you were just walking by? What if your child was near that house? The point is if they jump for a person in the yard (trespassing or not) it can lead to others at risk.

    Does this now mean Judge that, Anyone going onto that lady's land to knock on her door are in danger of being attacked by those two dogs? Even though she has a sign 'Beware of Dog'. And she has a fence which did NOT keep those dogs in, but most importantly, in that state, isn't a large dog supposed to have a proper caged, lockable enclosure as well as a gated fenced in area clearly signed 'Large Dangerous Dogs Beware'? If not Judge why, because how is a person like the postman, or a visitor or kiddies (children) supposed to be safe? Entering her property? The one bite law, I dont understand. In the end those two dogs attacked a lady whom just went to knock on The defendant's door thinking her son and her were safe. I think that you can have laws in place and peaces of paper signed by VIPs, these things will not physically stop a dog from attacking. I believe The Owner was negligent also for not having control of her dogs. The Beware sign should be Dangerous Dogs on the premises. It means to me that any child in trouble or visiting doing charity 'Are' In danger of being attacked because the dogs were loose on her land, but aggressive enough to cause thousands of dollars in personal damage just because she was knocking on the door. That poor lady should have come out of that court with at least her personal injuries paid. This is another worse incident waiting to happen. Once an aggressive dog bites and draws blood, it will very likely keep keep doing it. I beleive the Owner was Negligent in this case.

    No matter how much I love my dog and how sweet he is. If he EVER hurt someone like that I would put him down and pay for what happened. I have an extremely sweet husky but I know he’s bite a handler for trying to muzzle him when they found him in an abandoned apartment (kennel & no food) he even bite clean through his own tongue. I would never let that happen. Be more responsible with your dogs. Outside leash them / know someone is coming over put them away in a KENNEL 😢 so sad for these people. Hope they get the help they need

      Why would u put down ur dog when it has no rabies? If ur dog has that behavior its the owner’s fault for raising them probably ina negative way

    • @StabbieStab555
      @StabbieStab555 Před rokem +2

      @@jassypr well you have to understand I got him when he was 7 years old and someone else abused him for those long years and was left behind to die. And he is quite aggressive at times ( mostly when I try to take his toys) It’s the law so no one else gets hurt. It’s sad but true. If he were to ever go after someone for no reason and they sue the courts would require me to put him down

      @jassypr Před rokem

      @@StabbieStab555 true, it’s always the law to be followed. I just can’t accept that dogs that has a life have to go through that, i was traumatized as a kid before when our dog got killed for barking and neighbors ate him after that… that’s why i cant let dogs nor cats be killed etc… but if they have rabies i mean euthanized is really the answer… 😔

    The One Bite Rule Is Ridiculous. It was two dogs so technically she was bitten more than once by two different dogs and they didn't bite just once they bit multiple times and slashed up her face and legs and arms, and lets not forget who the Huskies Ancestors are people Wolves are they cute and even tempered do they need to be provoked to attack no they do not they can attack simply from being hungry or maybe Karen's Dogs didn't like the music she was blasting and wanted her to shut it off maybe it was the sound she uses to cause them to attack and why have a dog whistle if they are such great dogs.

    Trespassing doesn’t include someone walking up to ring your doorbell, and it should not result in a vicious dog attack. I’m pretty sure people have rang that nut’s doorbell before.

    What about the defendant's homeowners policy that should cover dog bites. ???
    Also that sign was on the fence it was not on the house. We put up no trespassing and private property signs also we have what is called. ""The purple fence law"" in Texas... Wondering what state this is in...
    I definitely don't understand the decision...
