Why would he? The footage showed the guy taking the money from the register, that's called stealing. At that point the owner would have been justified if he hit the guy.

No fights, and , seeing as other customers witnessed your behavior and were probably wondering what the heck was going on, there would have been peace. But they both acted like children!! Sometimes it's better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission!! AKA, it's easier to just give them their money back, say "I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your meal!" And move on to the next customer!!

Ok, if you own a restaurant and you have an unsatisfied customer, instead of arguing with them and saying "We don't do refunds!", you simply open the register, give them back their money, and say "I'm very sorry you didn't enjoy your meal. He's your money. Have a nice day!" Simple, easy, done!! How hard is that??? Arguing is just a waste of time. There's always one customer who isn't happy. Give them a refund and move on! If you had just handed him a refund, there would have been no fight, no issue, just PEACE!!! He may have been an angry, dissatisfied customer, but all you had to do to avoid other customers witnessing you acting the fool, you should have just GIVEN HIM A REFUND!!! Would it have been that hard???

Ridiculous liability claim, the slightest thing and people are out to use it to make a killing. Plus Stamps interrupts everyone as if he is justified to be given $160,000 for a potential upset stomach. And the plaintiffs in the 2nd case should be responsible for ensuring the ceiling could hold her weight - it’s not like a ceiling light brought it down.

I finally figured out that the shows actually are fake, I wondered about that because of all the bandaged up stuff that look like props, that video in that restaurant was so so fake and acted, bad acting. She did not drop the phone she lowered the phone down away from videoing as it was a fake attack.

I have worked in a restaurant if a customer is not happy with the food you fix the food. . If there is not a refund you do what you can to make the customer happy. What the customer did he stole the money it is the company money
