"why hurt the horses if you're mad at the manager?" Easy. Narcissists don't think of collateral damage, they just know that hurting the horses will upset the manager.
--- Humans (homo sapient) indeed are undeniably the most twisted / wicked creatures roaming on Tellus, as Anton LaVey put it best. And they are only are like this "because they can and allowed to". ---
I think they thought it would hurt the business. Feelings shmeelings. They had to pay to fix the fence, to rebuild a shelter, and to pay vet bills. If the animals died, they might have gone out of business.
First story - so unjust! That teacher is the worst sort of scumbag. The worst he faced was embarrassment at people finding out what he ordered (and I can understand him fearing his student might tell her friends/his other students) but to actively lie and accuse her of attempted solicitation.. he deserves to be known as the sort of teacher who would do that, so all his other students can make damned sure never to meet with him without a witness.
Are you uneducated or just don’t pay attention? Men are constantly being accused of stuff under “SeXuAl HaRaSmEnT” and they lose their careers/families or even go to jail. The stupid me too movement pushed by feminists means we don’t even bother getting evidence anymore AND IF the evidence is found and the woman was lying or just delusional then still almost nothing happens to her. This story sucks for both the op and the professor and this is only on the maid services fault. You also think his other coworkers aren’t giving him crap for this? Really? Oh they know and his life and ops will both be screwed by this. But hey it’s only the as fault for lying but when a woman does it “we must be understanding and empathetic to them”. The hypocrisy is real
He's married. That's what's going on. He's married and he hired a race adult service while his wife wasn't there. I'd put actual cash on that neighborhoods why he did what he did. Makes it somehow worse
While it is possible thats the case its also very possible that he could potentially face some seriously major problems from what happened. Even if we 100% take only OP's word of what went down some states have laws against that sort of thing. I personally know a former professor that had a simmilar thing happen to them. They hired a stripper for a bachelors party, that was suppose to screen for any work/school connections, anyway stripper that showed up was 1 of his students and he had turned her away and got a diffrent stripper for the event. Later she approached him to ask why he turned her away saying she really needed as many jobs as she could get etc. He tried telling her it was not appropriate and even went and reported what had happened to the school. He had records of all the interactions and texts etc probing he turned her away, but not only did he lose his job her faimily went after him to legally register him as a sex offender because he was in a position of athoriety over her. Lucky he had enough evidence to avoid any jail time and sex offender lists but was still a major deal that black listed him from teaching. One of his lawyers even said the biggest issue was that he didnt immediately report her for " sexual harassment" because she tried to talk to him about it after the fact on their own instead of informing thw school right away. So the school takes that as inappropriate behavior on the teachers behalf since they are in the position of responsibility over the student. Yes even as adult students this was and is an issue in certain states. Not saying the guy lying about it was ok or anything but some places thats litterly what they want you to do in order to keep your job.
Story 1. I think this shows how unfair the University reporting system is. It all comes down to who reports first. There are no investigations and one party always gets screwed.
Damn, that Cinderella and Prince Charming roast was too good. Seriously though, they treated OP and his family like garbage and expects OP to forgive them? No way Jose! I would cut them out of my life, if they so much as make a nasty remark at my kid.
Story 3 almost had me crying at the thought of those horses being hurt/killed. And I know why they targeted the horses and not the managers. Because it’s “easier” to go after an animal that can’t fight back than facing a human who can. That whole family are psychotic cowards.
This made me extremely upset. I work at a barn where I help give lessons to kids with challenges. If anything ever happened to our boys I'd cry. We had to put one down earlier this year for ethical reasons (severe arthritis) and you could feel the pain exuding from all of us for weeks. We've had three retire and go to different homes to enjoy their last five to ten years. It's always stressful to see someone limping... if we came in to that sort of chaos I guarantee you the culprit would be unwelcome in the entire county until the end of time.
Right! I bet if that happened they wouldn't have needed the camera footage because he would have "turned himself in" by calling police himself! I really hope they are connected to the fire too because it is too much of a coincident that a fire meant to hurt the horses happened shortly before the cutting incident. We all know it was probably him I just hope police see the pattern of escalation since the first incident were they tried to "release" them into the wild. Adding arson onto the animal cruelty charges would be the lovely cherry on top that they truly deserve!
Actually kids are better to kick than adults. The fact that they have less mass means that it takes proportionally more force to crack bone, vs. simply propel them. So basically a horse kicking a kid, the kid will probably be launched, might have a couple fractures, but is probably OK. An adult getting kicked, the inertia required to accelerate them from a stationary point is so great, odds are the kick is going to destroy bone and tissue, vs. simply move the body. So yeah. Let the kid get kicked. It might lose some teeth or something, but it'll be fine. An adult, he or she would probably suffer serious injury.
I'm surprised that didn't happen actually. As OP said, the horses spook easily and I doubt they'd react to being slashed at with a knife with the horse equivalent of "This is fine."
My heart breaks for the little girl in the 2. story: Imagine having that done to you at age 4: A person you loved and trusted, and of whom you thought they loved you as much, casts you aside like that, for no apparent reason. -Even if she doesn't grasp the full circumstances yet, this has the potential to stay a traumatic memory. What's even worse - as she grows up, she is gonna eventually learn the true story why they don't have contact with her aunt; I can't imagine any other outcome than: scarring. Imagine being rejected and looked down upon by your close family, from toddler-age onwards - just bc you're not white. Absolutely vile & disgusting people, good on OP for cutting them out. Edit: Sorry, initialy got the stories mixed up. Also, grammar, I think. (Not a native speaker, forgive me, pls!) - Fixed.
I think you meant second story, but we’ll overlook that because Sarah and her new family are truly disgusting! I only hope that Sarah’s kid is better that her racist parents and disowns them when she’s older!
The second she said that the kid didn't fit her "vision" I wondered if it was a race thing 😂 Props to the people that pulled out of the wedding though, at least op's other friends and family are good people.
I heard this story from Lost Genre. I absolutely love this story. I hope he covers another story that was done by him. There's one where a woman lost her family to a drunk driver and her friend wanted to get married on the day of her family's death anniversary. It was sooooo horrible! But I loved the outcome in the end.
As a mixed race kid this makes me so mad ... I was excluded from the basket ball teams sleepovers at the coaches house...i was benched and second string...all cuz of my race The coach was super religious and didnt believe in mixed race marriages Once the bball team got a new coach my senior year I was starter each game and had the most assists(may not have gotten alot of baskets but I made sure my team did) ... Also i bet the kid isnt dark skinned but has a way better tan than the bride...everyone had to look paler than her...bet Alot of pale racist people ive met have also tried to get my natural tan 🤣 including that horrid coach
Obviously, they were trying to put the stable out of business. Unfortunately, the horses are going to be far less trusting of humans from now on. It is also obvious where the kid got to be an obnoxious little psycho.
People calling them Psychos all the time but none of them ever did anything to indicate them being Espers at all, they never did anything to hint at Telekinesis so I honestly don't know where they got that, especially just from a family with schizophrenia.
@@animeotaku307 Don't forget the charges for cruelty to animals. According to the Humane Society of the United States, a first offense is a felony in all 50 states.
1st story: how juvenile can a professor be? He couldn't handle a simple coincidence. I once ran into a friend's ex-wife at an exotic dance club. We laughed it off & even my friend (who knew what she did but not which club) thought it was kind of funny when i told him.
More like "How terrible can a system be?" This is what feminists wanted except they failed to realize men can abuse all of this nonsense as well if the school allows.
@@RunicSigils So because feminists(or women in general) wanted their rape and SA stories to be investigated seriously and not pushed aside for mundane, irrelevant things, they deserve to have false accusations levied against them? Why can't you just say "How terrible can a system be?" without blaming women for all the problems in this world? I'm asking, because no one likes someone who reports these things falsely, irregardless if its a man or woman.
Tried to look more about the first story, but seems OP deleted her account. Still, I feel OP should skip the university and go directly to the state's government agency that regulates teachers and universities, and report that professor anonimously alongside the university. Let them investigate both and ruin those two's lifes without spilling on OP.
You make it seem like shes the 1 at fault when its her job. All she wanted was to clear her name to make sure her time wasnt wasted trying to get her degree.@leeofdoom4452
@@redtruckguy5685 as a former lecturer, I can tell you we are very vulnerable to young obsessive students. First Story: This is an interesting story. The odds of OP being hired by their teacher is insane. OP did be professional about all of this though. However, it's obvious this guy isn’t acting professionally over this small error. Woooow, he reported OP for her doing things that is outside of school, lied about OP, and had the audacity to try to get OP kicked out. If I was OP I’d sue this man for slander Second Story, NTA: She asked OP's daughter to be the flower girl and changed it last minute. OP's sister is a bridezilla and needs to lower her standards and perfectionist behavior. She really expects a 4 year old to do everything perfect. Sure, while it is OP's sister's wedding but her standards are too high. Lmao, she really wants her image to not change. Ahhhh there it is, they are racist; good on OP for cutting these people off Third Story, NTA: OP is literally try to prevent this kid from getting kicked by a horse (mind u, their legs are strong enough to kill in one kick). This mom is honestly a bad mom to raise this kid, I honestly wonder how this kid doesn’t hurt himself often. What OP said was just telling the truth. Wtf?! Yo this lady is insane, just because OP and their company refused to give this psycho's kid lessons?! They hurt the horses because??????
I agree I would have deffo sued the professor for slander and deformation of character and then gone to the press about the University and there failings hit them hard and hit them fast, they deserve it the scumbags
Man I saw video where a mare kicked a stallion directly between the eyes and he collapsed dead on the spot. It was insane that she one-shotted him. If she can take down a horse bigger than her with one kick she will absolutely obliterate any anklebiters that run up screaming behind her
The woman and husband in the last story got off unspeakably easy; growing up in a Midwest farming community, I can tell you I know all too many people who’d’ve called the police AFTER handling it themselves. Grunt needs to start counting blessings
What's funny is that it took almost a whole year for him to report what happened. I mean like if op was going to black mail him I'm sure she would have done it earlier
As soon as the fire and horse hurting came up, I would of loved to give the husband the same treatment. There is absolutely no excuse to hurt an animal and I hope the horses are okay and that the wife has to pay for the fire damage and any medical stuff the horses may need.
I feel bad for OP in story 1. Obviously she got shafted here, but the worse part is her studies are being affected by a risque job that I assume she took to pay for school. If a man was a outted as a stripper in college, he would just get high fives all around, but the second a female does something similar, she is seen as lesser.
Except your logic is literally why this happened. Pandering to women claiming sexual stuff because they regret sleeping with someone is what led the university to have such a policy to begin with. In this case it's just a surprise they sided with him instead of her because that wouldn't - doesn't - happen in 99.9999% of cases. Insert stupid policies, win stupid punishments.
@@RunicSigils Shut your incel ass up lmfao 😂 lotta words to say 'I hate women'. Can't imagine the copium you gotta inhale to think rape and sexual assault not only don't happen at colleges, but that women are believed over tenured staff. Hi. Larious.
Story 1: there was only 1 way that this story was going to go. Something similar happened to me, where a few professors declared they didn’t like me and killed my chances of succeeding while the university stood by and watched. Best case scenario in these sit is transfer as soon as you can to save as much time and money as possible.
It's true. i) A classmate of mine almost got expelled because she discovered that one of her (ex)committee members had plagiarized substantial portions of his articles from another researcher. She didn't even make any accusations; she just asked her supervisor what to do about it. The supervisor put out some feelers, the committee member found out - my classmate got in trouble 'for slandering the respect professor', even though she could clearly show the original article, the plagiarized parts in the CM's article and the lack of citation in it. She was forced to publicly apologize to the CM, had to find a replacement with this big X next to her name, and was put on probation until she finally graduated. ii) I had one of my professors steal my PhD research (his class was to develop our proposals so he took mine and ran with it while I was waiting for the red tape that students must go through to progress in their degrees). The guy was not even tenured but my supervisor and I talked it over and figured out, especially in light of (i) above which happened just before my problem, there was not really anything I could do - the university would side with the prof. My supervisor at least made it so that I could still do my research and get my degree even though my study had already been published by someone else - I had to make revisions to get by. (the salt in the wound? the university highlighted the prof and 'his ground-breaking research' on their home page for most of a semester). The university has a huge amount of power over its students' lives - they hold all of the cards in this situation - and the university will side with the faculty almost no matter what.
@@survivedandthriving Should’ve got a lawyer and made a public announcement. A real public announcement. Go to the news. Make them listen. I’m sure any “respecting professor “ found to plagiarize or steal research would be a big red flag to the news. They’d eat it up. “On today’s news broadcast, a professor is found to have plagiarized articles and stolen one of their students work. While the college sits there and lets them get away with it.” Edit: Also, make sure to have copies of everything you submit. Always a good idea to keep copies in case it, “gets lost.”

@@Daltonisntabot That was one of the options that my supervisor and I discussed. But i) we're in Canada and suing really isn't a thing here; ii) as another employee of the university my prof would not have been allowed on my side of that fight; and so iii) I would have had to fight the university and its entire legal team by myself with my own funds (and I was working 3 jobs and barely making my rent at the time); and iv) I would almost certainly lose either in court or by running out of resources before the university did, been kicked out of that university for having sued them, and then have had to try and finish my degree at another university, applying with a huge X next to my name. I did, however, keep all documentation for several years after I graduated, and at the time carefully made it known among my peers to never take that prof's class - I also let some of the trusted profs in my department know to steer future students away from that prof. At the end of the day, I did graduate and have moved on in my career where I am a respected member of my (non-academic) community and am leading a contented, productive, and fulfilling life. Meanwhile that prof is still there doing his salami research,* still trying to play with the big dogs while the big dogs keep snubbing him because he is a butthole and no one wants to play with him. He will forever be the person on the outside looking in. I'm hoping he'll apply for tenure and get denied (he is not well like nor well published) and then he'll be booted and have to find a new job with a big X next to his name. But, I think he'll never have the courage which will eat at him and make him more unhappy. So, whether he applies for tenure or not he loses. There is some justice in that and he is extracting it on himself while I spend my resources on better activities. At the time, it was a major, negative life event for me. But now, I am happy to let Karma take over - Karma is a beautiful warrior goddess and seems to be handling things well in this case. --- *Salami research - taking a single research project/dataset and cutting it thinly, over and over again to publish articles that are almost the same as each other to look like it is something new but is just the same-old-same-old. The second stories update, absolutely made my jaw drop. the sister & her side of the family are truly disgusting. ESPECIALLY when the relatives made those racist comments toward O.P & her family. Story three...no words. People are CRAZY...those poor horses
I mean her sister didn't say anything. And smiling doesn't mean agreement. People smile out of discomfort and she might have just not wanted to start conflict with the wedding coming up. Her sister NEVER indicated that she was racist, and OP assumed that was why. If you go back and listen objectively, her sister didn't do anything wrong. If she asked the older girl to help the 4 year old and realized that she was doing this as she imvisioned, like reading a poem, that is 100% her call. If sister was OP. People wouldn't be so against her.
Yeah, sister didn't do anything; that's the problem. Her SO said something racist about Op's family and instead of standing up for her sister or shutting down his racist butt she just went along with marrying a racist.
@@Ayaforshort Marrying a racist person and joining their family IS racist. Why? Because you're supporting said racism by not speaking up about it or being against it. If racism isn't a deal breaker for anyone, that says more about them than the sister. And even if the sister was the OP they'd be against the sister. "My sister was mean to me because I supported my husband's racism and laughed when he called my niece a slur, woo is me." Seriously, use your brain.
Story 1: I'm a lecturer (not a dude though) and I am frikkin F U M I N G ... the worst part is, I can absolutely imagine higher-up and/or HR throwing a student, a junior colleague, a postgrad researcher, or basically anyone who isn't buddies with a Head of School/Dean under the damn bus. I have seen it plenty. There are so many great people working in higher education, and so many of us love to teach, research, and learn... but not a damn year goes by without something like this coming out of the woodwork and really harming someone in a lower power position... Every year I get closer to considering another line of work; this is not worth the burn out, awful precarious contracts, and underpayment. @ᛋᛁᚷᛁᛚᛋ, The Runic Kuribro nah edi is to change policy within an institution, and maintain the good ones. E.g., union rep, legal rep. Edit for clarity: help the ppl who work in the institution, not the institution :)
Honestly, I think more faculty needs to be put on blast. Retaliation laws are supposed to work in your favor, but even so, having receipts and being willing to nuke your career to affect change should be apart of the culture and not some time of need movement. We should just always be holding each other accountable with provable facts to back what we perceive as wrongdoing
@@JuniperDenn Wait, but isn't the whole new-age culture that has been brought about around stuff like this, the same culture that ignores context for sensationalism, the same culture that the professor lived inside and somewhat caused his fear, the same culture that burns provably innocent people (in this case the student), wasn't it created by the EDI? Aren't you just making the problem worse by playing into it? Tearing down that toxic culture entirely is the best way to go, playing sides doesn't help anybody here, it just makes it worse.
*First OP:* This remind me of a story where a guy hired an escort who turned out to be his daughter. I’m not talking about the Dhar Mann video; this actually happened. It’s sad that there’s still a stigma against s3x (censoring just in case) workers. Despite one’s stance on s3x workers, they deserve respect. Best of luck to OP. *Second OP:* NGL, I was not expecting that plot twist. OP and her family are better off without OP’s sister and _her_ family. This gives new meaning to “white wedding.” I was hoping rSlash would say the actual F-word, lol. *Third OP:* Another Top 10 Anime Plot Twist! Now I know where that kid got his reckless behavior from. I hope the parents get the maximum punishment for what they did. I’m glad the horsies are okay.
I despise the excuse "I was drunk, so I you can't be mad at me about the horrible thing I did". I believe that alcohol removes the mask and makes you reveal your true self. If the two women were throwing around racial slurs while drunk, it's because that's how they really feel, not because they were manipulated by the drinking.
My thoughts in agreement: If they chose to be drunk, they are responsible for what they do while drunk. Obviously there are some exceptions (people taken advantage of while blackout drunk, for instance) but generally... And you know what they say: In vino veritas/There is truth in wine.
Yes. Alcohol has a desinhibiting effect, not a personality altering effect, which means that it removes your brakes, but the engine is still the same. It removes the impulse control, the shyness, the little voice in your head that asks "is this a good idea? will i get in trouble? what will happen? what are the consequences?" etc... The cognitive impact of alcohol can further prevent you from thinking clearly, aswell. But it's still you. It won't make you do something you wouldn't do unless you are extremely intoxicated, like no less than a sip away from not being able to walk.
Story 3, I truly feel sorry for that kid. Unless something changes, he's probably going to grow up to be just as psychotic as his parents... Also, I'm glad the psycho dad got caught before he could damage the horses permanently! Hopefully, he gets prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and stays away for a long time. with any luck, they'll be on the hook for any building/vet bills as well.
I feel sorry for the kid because things will be bad for him either way. If he's like his parents, then ew. But if he's not, they are absolutely the kind of people that will make him miserable for it. I have a friend who went through this exact thing with his parents. He's in his 30s and still working out the damages. He sometimes still blames himself for "causing trouble when (he) could have just pretended" by doing things like NOT being racist, sexist... heck, I won't even list the rest, you get the idea. Anyway, I do hope those people get some serious help because all of that was wrong on a whole other level.
@@GregNixon the mother will hopefully be deemed as not qualified to continue to raise the kid. Hopefully the kid gets access to therapy and hopefully a nice foster family. Depending on where this is in the world though… fate may be worse for this kid. However hopefully the kid is able to grow up somewhat normally. But his parents influence in some of his earliest years is going to have a massive impact on him in the future. Obviously that is not his fault.
Last story: He try to murder the horses because the manager banned his wife and son after they repeatably put themselves and others and harm's Way. I really hope this guy goes to prison for this. Destruction of property is one thing but trying to kill a whole stable of horses that did nothing it just f***** up.
Last Story: A horse is absolutely huge. How does any adult think it's ok to let a child run around near them? You shouldn't even need to be told to be careful around an animal that big
I guess that’s because some people use logic on easy mode: if it’s not obviously dangerous like a bear or a lion it must be safe to be around and even then there’s probably still someone around who’d try to pet the bear.
The first story is a perfect example of how much our education system sucks. The student does absolutely nothing wrong yet they are the one that get screwed. This happened to me in high school a lot, my science teacher would write me up for things I didn't do and when I talked to my principal about it, I would get suspended. There was even a time where I was absent on a Friday, and came back on a Monday with an absentee note, I was written up that Friday that I was gone for disrupting the class during a test and calling the teacher a slur. When I was called to the office, the Principal sat me down and told me that what I did was wrong. I, being confused, asked him what he meant and he told me about the report. I told him it wasn't me because I was absent, and had given him the doctor's note and a handwritten note from my guardian. I also had the pink slip he had signed that morning marking me absent on Friday for my teachers to sign, and the fucking bastard still suspended me for three days because he believed the teacher. I lost faith in the education system that day, dropped out of high school and earned my GED online. It is sickening to know that people will pay thousands of dollars for classes and shit like what happened to this innocent girl happens and the school would rather back up a weasel of a teacher and not their students. Seriously, that's fucked.
Story 3: My sorority sister works in a animal hospital ( big animals like horses and cows) and a horse kicked her while it was being put under for surgery. It happened last year and she is finally completely in the clear. She started to have short term memory problems. She is all good now and moving on to nursing school.
Story 3: This is NOT how you handle things. You don't go committing felonies. Something tells me that the husband thought that this was the right way to deal with OP warning the kid of potential death. I think OP could've sued for the damages, but I guess they were too tired to deal with that and just let the police do everything Edit: OP's workplace could sue, not OP themselves
"I think OP could've sued for the damages, but I guess they were too tired to deal with that and just let the police do everything" They can do both. Pressing criminal charges does not prevent you from seeking a civil suit. It's usually best to let the criminal case go through first. After all, a guilty verdict pretty much proves your case for you.
I'm literally with my horse at the stable watching this and told him, "Goose, if anyone ever tries this bullshit with you, you have permission to kick them." Pretty sure he got the message
Story 2: Even the initial reason OP was told was pretty BS because the sister could just help OP's daughter. Honestly, I'm glad that OP eventually learned the REAL reason. OP's daughter doesn't need a racist in her life
@@dudeorduuude5211 She smiled at the racist comments tho and she didn't scolded them for being racist pricks TO HER SISTER AND NIECE! Even IF OP's sister isn't racist and was just agreeing to be... Idk, "polite" or sm shit??? She was still a btch and she enabled this GROSS behavior. She's a vile person who deserves to get her wedding ruined.
Story 3 had my stomach dropping when they mentioned something had spooked the horses. I thought they were going to find a dead child in the enclosure. Very glad I was wrong.
Second Story: Ok people place your bets. How much the no contact will last until the sister needs OP for babysitting? And that those that supported OP's Sister are going to add pressure
Final story: yeah, it's something I had full view to. The kids was about 3 years old and the horse was spooked by a dog dashing by. Luckily, he survived without any noticable long term effects, but I often wonder how things would have changed if he hadn't. That kid's my step brother
The horse story: there is no logic to explain mentally ill sociopaths, they felt slighted and lashed out with no regard to anything. May they be locked up in an asylum until they learn how to function in society.
Only case of horse abuse I knew was kind of the fault of the owner. He did business with (simply put) a member of the mob (organized crime). He had some expensive work done and pulled the crap a lot of entitled, rich folk do and try to dictate changes AFTER the work is done. One night, his stable burned to the ground with all of the Arabian horses inside. He then got a call from the mobster who gave his condolences about the loss of his horses then cryptically suggested that it was a good thing it didn’t happen to his house and family. They guy paid the mobster the agreed sum on the contract.
I was 3 years old when I was a flower girl for my uncle's wedding. Obviously, a toddler is not going to do everything right. But when I heard the update, it blew my top off. Like it was insane. OP and her family are better off going extremely no contact with her sister and her new family.
Story #3: I used to work in a barn. I’ve never been kicked intentionally by a horse, but one accidentally clipped my ankle when another horse charged the horse I was turning out (put into the paddock, for those of you who don’t speak “horse”). It hurt like the dickens, and I had a huge bruise for weeks, and that was through my boot!
I didn't officially have my niece in my wedding, but she did stand next to her mom, my SIL, during the ceremony. She was 3 at the time. She's a beautiful little brown girl and our photographer got a picture of her standing by herself looking incredible. I can't imagine my wedding without her in it, and if 2nd OP were my sister, I would have loved her and her daughter to be in my wedding.
The child and parents in the last story should be THANKFUL that OP stopped their child from potential serious injury or death. I was accidentally kicked by a galloping horse when I was a kid (I think I was like 10 years old or so at the time). It was a kick to my arm, and my arm hurt like hell. It was a smaller younger horse, and luckily there were no broken bones or any major injuries, but it really hurt.
I had to help patch up a teen who got attacked by a horse. I have no clue what this kid did to piss off the horse, but she shattered his femur. Bucked him over her head, reared, and landed full force on his leg. I watched the security video after, because I was morbidly curious, it was definitely intentional. I'll never understand how people forget that horses are dangerous.
Story 2: "My sister cried reading all the comments" that's so sad 😔 now she knows how the five year old girl felt when being told her role was given to someone else because she, a literal child, wasn't "doing it right" Story 3: "You're an effing psycho for saying that to a mom" Wow I didn't know being a mother was an automatic free pass to not having people tell you that you're a shit parent that's gonna get your kid killed because you think rules don't apply to you.
It wouldn't surprise me to hear about the kid in the third story doing some insane stuff in a few years. You know, the kind of things that become an episode on Investigation Discovery.
Story 2: if Sarah and Frank saw the reddit post, I hope they see this video and hear Rslash giving her the karen voice. 🤣 Im actually scared for the kid in story 3. He probably won't make it to ten years because his psycho mom is gonna let him walk right off a cliff.
As a student of a program that is only offered at one college in the state, that first story could be absolutely devastating. There is only one university in the state that I live in that offers my program, and the credits do not transfer easily. Man, if I got kicked out I would have to give up because I would not be able to afford out-of-state tuition anywhere else. It is messed up that the university is just going to watch her struggle like that because that a-hole of a professor lied and she could prove he lied.
Omg this reminds me when I was a stripper 🤣 when I was 18 to 19 I worked for a company that provided exotic dancers, escorts, stripograms, etc. I strictly stuck to just dancing, no shame on anyone who does escort work or "more", its just not what I'm comfortable with. Well I live in a small state and I was by far the youngest dancer under employment, so I went to almost every party. It wasnt uncommon for me to run into people I knew but after so many years I became unbothered by it for the most part. Well 1 party happened for a bachelor party, normal night, blah blah. Well as I danced I realized I recognized the groom but for the life of me I couldn't place from where. Finally after a good 15 minutes I happened to see the design on the back of a guys shirt and my eyes bulged, the groom must of been waiting for me to realize because he met my eyes with a shit eating grin... It was a bachelor party for my exs dad! My ex didnt want to go thankfully but I only met his dad a handful of times when when I saw the company design it smacked me in the face. He was awesome about it, didnt give me any grief and we got to catch up, he saw how chill I was about it and it didnt create issues thankfully. I was already naked at that point so no need for shyness 😭🤣 It was very scary to become a dancer at 18 but my boss, coworkers, and bodyguards were amazing and made me feel protected always. I dont regret it one bit, it helped me gain massive amounts of confidence and feel alot better about myself. Plus there were women with all body types, one of the favorites was a plus size blonde with a bouncy carefree attitude as well as a slim toned black woman with a gorgeous tattoo down her body.
The last story reminds me of a toddler. “If I can’t have something, no one else can!” They didn’t care about anything other than “payback/justice/me me me” (however narcs see it) for being “wronged”. “ How dare the owners kick our precious angel out of horse lessons! We will make sure they can never have lessons again! “
The thing about the last story, some people really do see animals as plain /property/, so that pair probably figured the best way to hurt OP and OP's coworkers would be to damage the 'property' that makes them their money, or makes them happy, depending
For the third story thats just suprising how entitled people can be to nearly cause the death of their own children even when warned by the proffesional
Horse story! I one time had a teacher who knew someone who got kicked in the head by the horse and survived but the impact caused them to have the mental capacity of an 8 yr old. If they could do that to an adult, imagine what they'd do to a child. Respect the horses guys!
Ok, I haven't seen many people talking about this, but here's my theory on Story 1: The professor actually wished it WAS OP. Hear me out. The way she described the process on the "client" end sounded like it was basically Build-A-Bear (bare with my analogy here). Now it's possible the guy just left a bunch of stuff blank, and the two of them met through unfortunate coincidence. But what really feels likely is that he saw OP around (in his class or on campus), and was at least subconsciously thinking about her when he made his "order". College professors can have hundreds if not thousands of students a semester, what are the odds of him even recognizing her otherwise? I realize this idea has quite a few holes, but it could also explain part of why he felt so ashamed afterwards. Or angry, it's hard to tell his feelings exactly through his actions in the story.
Can confirm: horses kick hard. I've been kicked by a horse (she was trying to kick the horse I was leading, I was in the way) and thankfully didn't get the full force but that still Really Hurt.
Third story: NTA. She is a neglectful mother that doesn't want to deal with the behavior of the demon she summoned. With the update: This woman and her husband are way worse than the kid. I say a lawsuit is in order for animal abuse.
I work on major trauma in the hospital and the amount of people we get in from horses injuring them is crazy! Those are adults and they come in with broken ribs, legs, arms, bitten off fingers and bashed in skulls, who require weeks, even months of therapies and surgeries. Imagine how much harm can happen to a child.
Some people just think horses are like big dogs.... They don't understand that that 2,000lb animal can give on flick of a foot & seriously injur a 100lb person... I've been riding since childhood & I've been bit, thrown & almost trampled too many times to count! My neighbor's daughter rides professionally & just the other day was trying to break a new horse.... The horse just wasn't having it & kept throwing her & ended up trying to crush her under its body... She got away with a bruised up shoulder... The horse ended up jumping straight up on the air & did some weird back flip, landing on its head & breaking its neck. She was stunned.... Heck, we were all stunned.... But like I told her, I'm glad it was the horse & not you.... Because that horse was literally trying to unalive this poor girl.... There's a reason the staff are 'being mean to your kid'.....
Story 2. I wouldn't exactly blame the family members who dropped because of racism. If OP was already dropping, she didn't need the full story. And to add in the caveat that I forgot, yes, OP should have been warned after dinner plan was being made.
I can see why family members might be hesitant to share that horrible revelation but I disagree with the idea that OP didn't need to know. Obviously, OP would want to know that in the event she ever considered reconnecting with her sister and BIL. The racism takes the their behavior to a whole new level.
On that last story, coming up behind a horse can be deadly as said. I’ve seen a mare kill a stallion with a single kick while getting into position to mate……. The stallion had no chance his skull was shattered !!! AND the mare didn’t even have shoes on…..
No idea what you’re talking about …??? I don’t film any stud or related events on a video as it’s a Bloodstock stud farm and deal with some seriously expensive Arabians, a couple that can trace back to the Godolphin Arabian too. We lost a stunning Grey Stud & the mare had to be removed from the natural mating program and transferred to the IVF, much more expensive and less successful at times
@@utej.k.bemsel4777 that’s ok, but you’d see from it that if a horse can kill a horse with a single kick then a small child has zero chance if the kick connects right or even might cause paralysis
Flower girl wedding story: I'm guessing OP had minimal contact with BIL and his family before things blew up. That's the only way I could see them hiding their racism for so long. It's sad that OP's sister got infected by it as well, but it's obvious she did.
Last story: not only is the mum a psycho, she’s also so ungrateful, op probably saved her son’s life and she did that to her and her horses who did nothing wrong
@@yourmother9834 Don't smother them. Also, It's a good mindset to act by, but not necessarily to think by. Still, most parents are far more responsible for their kid and how they turn out than they like to admit, most of the time. Everything you do and don't do has an impact.
I love the stories with updates! Rslaaaash can you please choose stories with updates more often? It's so satisfying to hear more than the initial posts!
First story cracked me up. I imagined hiring a naked maid and I couldn't stop laughing. A feature that won't add to the cleaning but running into the maid cleaning naked and being professional about it is hilarious.
Story 2: I would have gone no contact and scorched Earth by informing everyone in the family precisely why I'm not attending the wedding or being apart of my sister's life any longer. My family is very strong on family bonds and if someone did that, they would absolutely come down hard on them for being disgusting people
I was a tutor long ago. My first person I tutored apparently developed a crush on me and later found me on AOL (long ago) and made me so uncomfortable. Not only was I older but I took pride in being helpful to others so I had a sense of professionalism even though I was only in HS. I had to block her as she was way too intense
Can confirm: I was "gently" kicked by a horse when I was about 9. He didn't kick too hard, because I wasn't running towards him or anything, just got too close to his rear flank while cleaning his hooves, and very narrowly missed being kicked in the head. That was one of the most painful experiences in my life. I can't imagine how bad it would have been if he had kicked full force.
I gotta say thanks for posting daily. It's so much easier to be entertained when i'm grinding a game or doing homework as I then don't have to read reddit. Thank you.
The horse story 🐴 I love horses! And I agree 100% that Op is NTA! I go horse riding, and I know that too. Horses are amazing animals, but they WILL kick HARD if startled! The mom and her kid were definitely a danger to everybody. Edit: Oh no… No, no, *NO!* Nobody hurts horses like that!! Now I know for sure that those KARENS AND THEIR CHILDREN ARE NEVER TO BE AROUND HORSES- *EVER!*
My brother was the entitled little boy at the stables when I was trying to ride. It was so embarrassing... he was kicked out because he actually made horses spook so badly it got other kids to fall off and get hurt. My mother was super upset I kept on riding after my brother was kicked out of the stables. Saying it wasn't fare(he never rode he just hung out there). To this day she rarely saw me ride since he was kicked out from my one stables years ago. I'm now learning to become a farrier
So instead of coming to an arrangement... make sure you tell it to everyone above you in the hierarchy, lie, and try to ruin an innocent life. Now you are a perv AND a PoS.
That third story makes me want to cry. Thinking about how scared those horses must have been. Being hurt like that, in their home, and not understanding why. I just. No, that breaks my heart.
With the last story, the same thought about came to me before you mentioned it. That the horses didn't do anything to deserve the actions by husband of the Entitled Woman. The Stables may only have the video proof of the cutting of the horses, and can only guess he had done the other things.... which I'm guessing he did it.
I've rode horses many times as a scout. If you're not cautious enough then you can get seriously hurt. Once we rode over a ground hornets nest and kids were thrown off their horses. Nobody broke their bones but the kids who were thrown off were very sore.
i clicked on this for 2 reasons, 1: i wanted to listen to it, and 2: i really liked the title "r/Bestof My Teacher Hired Hired Me as an Escort!" you know its gonna be epic when it says "Hired Hired"! XD
"why hurt the horses if you're mad at the manager?"
Easy. Narcissists don't think of collateral damage, they just know that hurting the horses will upset the manager.
Well, they're right there. That said, anyone hurting any animal is a waste of oxygen anyway.

I think they thought it would hurt the business. Feelings shmeelings. They had to pay to fix the fence, to rebuild a shelter, and to pay vet bills. If the animals died, they might have gone out of business.
@@zimonzieclown1633 Wish a horse kicked them in the lungs, rupturing 1 or both.
And just think, OP’s “friend” called HER a psycho 🙄
Exactly.
She should rate him on "Rate my professor" and spill the beans anonymously.

Story 1. I think this shows how unfair the University reporting system is. It all comes down to who reports first. There are no investigations and one party always gets screwed.
She said it was investigating though
Damn, that Cinderella and Prince Charming roast was too good. Seriously though, they treated OP and his family like garbage and expects OP to forgive them? No way Jose! I would cut them out of my life, if they so much as make a nasty remark at my kid.
That’s what they deserve! Play stupid games win stupid prizes!
Story 3 almost had me crying at the thought of those horses being hurt/killed. And I know why they targeted the horses and not the managers. Because it’s “easier” to go after an animal that can’t fight back than facing a human who can. That whole family are psychotic cowards.
I honestly thought the kid was killed. Like the mum trying to horsenap one of the horses
They are definitely psycho
This made me extremely upset. I work at a barn where I help give lessons to kids with challenges. If anything ever happened to our boys I'd cry. We had to put one down earlier this year for ethical reasons (severe arthritis) and you could feel the pain exuding from all of us for weeks. We've had three retire and go to different homes to enjoy their last five to ten years. It's always stressful to see someone limping... if we came in to that sort of chaos I guarantee you the culprit would be unwelcome in the entire county until the end of time.
lowkey kinda wished one of the horses , spooked by the fire or the attacks on others kinda kicked the bastard square in the jaw.
I agree. No horse deserves that 🥺🐴 Keep that PSYCHO FAMILY AWAY FROM ALL ANIMALS!!!
Story 3: It would have been quite the poetic justice if a horse had kicked and seriously injured the husband 👀
I would’ve laughed 😂
I was hoping they would find him with his head crushed in the barn if I'm being honest.

Last story: Given how high horse vet bills are I wouldn't be surprised if that psycho mom wanted to hurt the stable's pockets.
Also they clearly hoped to attack the business anonymously. If they attacked staff, they would likely be identified.
Well, joke’s on her. Given that her husband was arrested, she’s likely going to be paying damages and some.

If I was OP I’d sue this man for slander
Second Story, NTA: She asked OP's daughter to be the flower girl and changed it last minute. OP's sister is a bridezilla and needs to lower her standards and perfectionist behavior. She really expects a 4 year old to do everything perfect. Sure, while it is OP's sister's wedding but her standards are too high. Lmao, she really wants her image to not change. Ahhhh there it is, they are racist; good on OP for cutting these people off
Third Story, NTA: OP is literally try to prevent this kid from getting kicked by a horse (mind u, their legs are strong enough to kill in one kick).

I dont know legal stuff well but if that mom or husband can be linked to the fire isnt that arson and atempted murder?
The woman and husband in the last story got off unspeakably easy; growing up in a Midwest farming community, I can tell you I know all too many people who’d’ve called the police AFTER handling it themselves. Grunt needs to start counting blessings
What's funny is that it took almost a whole year for him to report what happened. I mean like if op was going to black mail him I'm sure she would have done it earlier
Last story: it's clear to see where the brat's behavior came from.
Agreed!
As soon as the fire and horse hurting came up, I would of loved to give the husband the same treatment. There is absolutely no excuse to hurt an animal and I hope the horses are okay and that the wife has to pay for the fire damage and any medical stuff the horses may need.
I agree! No animal deserves that.

*Salami research - taking a single research project/dataset and cutting it thinly, over and over again to publish articles that are almost the same as each other to look like it is something new but is just the same-old-same-old. I first heard the term when one of the trusted profs gratuitously said 'oh! That prof he's a salami researcher anyway, that's probably why he stole your research. He hasn't done anything in new about 10 years!.' I skimmed his online bio just now and he hasn't published anything since 2010 and it is three articles on the same topic.

The second stories update, absolutely made my jaw drop. the sister & her side of the family are truly disgusting. ESPECIALLY when the relatives made those racist comments toward O.P & her family.
Story three...no words. People are CRAZY...those poor horses
I’ve said it on this channel once before, and I’ll say it again.
You can’t be careless around horses, because they can kill you!
@@Ayaforshort well the bridezilla and lifetime of condescending ways is how the sister is wrong.
Yeah, sister didn't do anything; that's the problem. Her SO said something racist about Op's family and instead of standing up for her sister or shutting down his racist butt she just went along with marrying a racist.
@@Ayaforshort
Marrying a racist person and joining their family IS racist.
I either will have to start working as a Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion representative to actively combat this kind of dickery or leave because Jesus H Christ.
What will helping the departments who put this policy in place do to help?
This only worked because those departments exist to begin with.
The fact the girl was his type I feel like he was trying to play out a fantasy and was surprised the actual person he fantasized for showed up
Think so too tbh

The fact the first story happens quite often just shows how messed up the education system is.
He's probably gonna grow up in the foster care system now, given his parents are gonna get arrested.
@@gamenut112 Well, according to the story, only the dad got arrested; not sure what happened to the mother.
@@tully6648 You're probably right about that. Such a sad situation all around for that kid.
I agree! Keep these family of PSYCHOS away from the horses 🐴
I remember the second story but never heard the update. The sister is only sorry that she got caught.
I think OP could've sued for the damages, but I guess they were too tired to deal with that and just let the police do everything
Edit: OP's workplace could sue, not OP themselves
Something tells me they wouldn't get any money from them anyway.
OP isn’t in charge of the stables and is just an employee. Their boss however is probably working on suing them.
I’m not by any means victim blaming but I’m surprised that an establishment like the stables didn’t already have cameras
"I think OP could've sued for the damages, but I guess they were too tired to deal with that and just let the police do everything"
They can do both. Pressing criminal charges does not prevent you from seeking a civil suit. It's usually best to let the criminal case go through first. After all, a guilty verdict pretty much proves your case for you.
@@neffyg35 No but the consequences to them going forward would be worth it.

Horse story, OP is definitely NTA for laying out the cold, hard facts to the kid's mom about the dangers of what he's doing.
A wise man's words sums up stories 2 and 3 best:
"Boy! That escalated quickly! I mean that really got out of hand fast!"
It seemed like the ones supporting ops sisters decision were a part of the racist family so i think Op ia good
Final story: yeah, it's something I had full view to.
Or *NEVER* come out!!
@@tawnyacosta9091 i get the sentiment but it is better that they become normal people instead of institutionalized leaches
Story 2: "My sister cried reading all the comments" that's so sad 😔 now she knows how the five year old girl felt when being told her role was given to someone else because she, a literal child, wasn't "doing it right"
Story 3: "You're an effing psycho for saying that to a mom" Wow I didn't know being a mother was an automatic free pass to not having people tell you that you're a shit parent that's gonna get your kid killed because you think rules don't apply to you.
It wouldn't surprise me to hear about the kid in the third story doing some insane stuff in a few years. You know, the kind of things that become an episode on Investigation Discovery.
I don’t understand why the lecturer didn’t get in trouble for gladly reporting a student

I super love that you are covering more of this subreddit, and I also love how you choose really good stories. Thank you
Omg this reminds me when I was a stripper 🤣 when I was 18 to 19 I worked for a company that provided exotic dancers, escorts, stripograms, etc. I was already naked at that point so no need for shyness 😭🤣
It was very scary to become a dancer at 18 but my boss, coworkers, and bodyguards were amazing and made me feel protected always. I dont regret it one bit, it helped me gain massive amounts of confidence and feel alot better about myself. Plus there were women with all body types, one of the favorites was a plus size blonde with a bouncy carefree attitude as well as a slim toned black woman with a gorgeous tattoo down her body.
It's good that you had respect and especially protection, unfortunately a lot of strippers are looked down on and not as fortunate.
Story one: Proof that false accusations ruin peoples lives.
For the third story thats just suprising how entitled people can be to nearly cause the death of their own children even when warned by the proffesional
original title "r/Bestof My Teacher Hired Hired Me as an Escort!"
@@fdm2155 Okay, as soon as reconciliation dinner was on the table, that should have been included. Forgot that part when I typed the comment.
On that last story, coming up behind a horse can be deadly as said. I’ve seen a mare kill a stallion with a single kick while getting into position to mate……. The stallion had no chance his skull was shattered !!! AND the mare didn’t even have shoes on…..
Saw the video. Stud fell like a stone.
@@Islendingar Ooops, sorry!
But there was a video, i think from "Think like a horse" showing a stallion being killed by a kicking mare. Instant death!
@@utej.k.bemsel4777 that’s ok, but you’d see from it that if a horse can kill a horse with a single kick then a small child has zero chance if the kick connects right or even might cause paralysis

The horse story 🐴 I love horses! And I agree 100% that Op is NTA! I go horse riding, and I know that too. Horses are amazing animals, but they WILL kick HARD if startled! The mom and her kid were definitely a danger to everybody.

The professor didn't want to be outed as a perv or something like that you know

That third story makes me want to cry. Thinking about how scared those horses must have been. Being hurt like that, in their home, and not understanding why. I just. No, that breaks my heart.

“Hired hired” is that a typo?
