    Totally understand your concept discharging the grass clippings to one side of the yard. I do the same technique. I use the term “Plowing the grass”.

      It toke me some time to figure this out. I like triple bypass cut sounds serious. Lol. Like I went to school to learn that....

    I've been mowing, fixing, rebuilding mowers etc all my life. I wish I could hear the engine to be able to make an assessment on how the mower handles thick grass. Music is great and all but can't tell what's going on with the mower.

      4th one now love it too when it's working lol. I know.. they don't hold up to the abuse I put it through...

    I want a 30 in mower. I was considering the Dewalt 33 in but i see bad handling reviews and i skipped on the timemaster because of all the videos of how fragile they are. I may have to shell out a few extra bucks and get the exmark 30

      Of you can I would it will last longer. But there's some feature that this has like the folding Handel's. Thsts nice. But you'll become a lawnmower mechanic overnight with this one. Lol.

    Man, I really enjoy your videos. What is the recommended spark plug gap for the Timemaster? Damn owner’s manual doesn’t mention it.

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  Před 2 lety

      If youget the ome plugs it should be pre set...but look into brings and straton... there's a scan qr. On the engine.... they have a web page....

    Since most of my customers want their lawns cut every 2-3 weeks, I exclusively cut thick and tall grass. Although I don't use the Timemaster but a Honda HRX217, problems I encounter are similar. I sometimes bag (which takes a lot of time and I have to drag that heavy wet grass around) or I simply back discharge and it's bye bye. Since my customers aren't private owners who want their lawns looking like a freaking golf course, I can cut some corners. My customers are community multi floor buildings, and all they want is for the grass to be cut so they don't get a ticket from the city counsel. Fine with me. Less hassle, more free time..

    Can anyone tell me what type of grass this is? I live in upstate NY. and I have this exact type. For the past three years, creeping bentgrass has become a problem. It' s a real pain. Thanks for any feedback.

    Would you still recommend this? I’m thinking of getting one for about 3 lawns a week. But they’re bigger lawns… probably about 4 hours a week. I’m just concerned about how it would hold up.

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes its still worth it. It's lighter then the to other ones outvthere . But if you want one to last long get the commercial unit but it's heavy
