  • DISCLAIMER: The TORO Company did send me this mower for Review. However, all thoughts and opinions are that of my own and no one else's.
    What is up everyone? Hope all is well. In this video I go over my opinion of the TORO Timemaster 30' Mower. I have personally owned one of these mowers in the past for my commercial company and never had an issue with it. It was a great mower no matter what I put it up against but lets also not forget maintenance plays a big part in how a mower will treat you also.
    Now let us talk price and places to purchase.
    This mower you can Buy from either a Big Box Store like Home Depot or you can find them at Local TORO dealers. This mower in the video can be purchased for around $1100 or for around an extra $100 you can upgrade to the Electric start model. Now, buying from either one is ok but when you purchase from an actual dealer your gonna get perks that big box stores do not offer such as end of season maintenance. Most dealers even offer pickup and delivery which is a huge convenience. So take these things into consideration when purchasing your next TORO Mower.

    I purchase the Toro Time Master to September and love that mower. It doesn't matter the size of the gas tank I just keep a gas can close by. I have only mulched with the Time Master and it does a great job . Money well spent...

    • @basajacosaja2735
      @basajacosaja2735 Před 3 lety

      Most likely the reason for the small tank is to make sure you’re always putting in fresh gas. The Ethanol thats in the gasoline these days makes it so that if you leave any in the mower for any amount of time, it will gum up the carb. The last tank should always be the canned store bought Ethanol free gas with stabilizer. Even better to probly run it out completely

    I bought it because of this guy. He explained Personal Pace so I understood it. He “worked out” the mower, didn’t just talk about what it could do, he showed you. He kept it real. Excellent.

    Franco just bought one and it spiked my interest. It’s about time for a new mower and this seems to be exactly what I need for my yard. I just haven’t had good luck with Toro, but the only other option is to spend thousands on a stander or walk behind that’s more than I need. Great review, Danny.

    Great work mate! I've got 3 Honda commercials (2 21"s and a 19") and a Timemaster. Honestly whilst the Timemaster initially did great on lawns where I couldn't get a ZT into, since I got a 36" stand on it's just sat in the shed for the most part. Hates wet grass but it is very powerful and super fast. Can see it being an awesome machine for guys that don't have a ride on but want to get some bigger lawns done.

    Really helpful review. I'm moving into my 2nd year after using a Toro 22 Personal Pace for the first year. I've been on the fence about picking the Toro TurfMaster or the ExMark 30... and this video helped me make the decision to go instead with the TimeMaster. That will save me over $1k to begin my 2nd year. If the business takes off beyond what I can handle with this mower, it will help me get to that point more quickly and I can purchase more at that time. So relieved to get out of the analysis mode. Thank you!

    Ive been running two of the exmark 30's since they came out.....definitely worth it. The exmark has some differences, but overall very similar concept. They do have a few cons, but the time savings more than makes up for it when compared to a 21" mower.

    Hi Danny, nice review that seems more directed to the home owner. I could have bought it but bought the Exmark 30" Commercial instead 3 years ago and I'm glad I did. Have you done or could you do a review comparing the 30" Toro Timemaster to the Exmark 30" Commercial (or Toro Turfmaster is commercial)? I did some research at the time that's why I ended up buying the Exmark for $2000 even though I could have got the Toro Timemaster for about $1000. Thanks for your hard work and honest reviews.

    I used my Timemaster comercially and it lasted 4 years. I punished that mower. The front wheel bearings are crap and will rust and seize. I greased all the bearings every year. The engine never failed me and although it looked like an old banger the only reason it was scrapped was because the drive gave up. I wouldnt buy another but its a good mower for dry homeowner lawns

      I just got one for $300. It’s the 190cc version so i know it’s the old model. Currently getting ready to tune it up for the season. I heard the trans and belts are the weak part of these mowers. Is there anything else i should take care of before the spring rush? Gonna do oil change, fuel filter, blade sharpening and air filter change as well.

    • @darrenupton5500
      @darrenupton5500 Před 3 lety +1

      @@officialsouthsoul5223 hiya pal. The only thing i replaced were the front wheel bearings. A drive cable which snapped and the blade belt. I did pop the seals every year and grease every bearing. I never touched the engine only to change the oil. When i first got it i did put some proper good oil in the drive as i did not trust toro. I mowed acres and acres with that mower over around 3 years. I cannot fault it

    • @JonsDailyHustle
      @JonsDailyHustle Před 3 lety +1

      @@johnossendorf9979 the TB was a great mower however for my commercial use it became very hard to get parts for it, as well as the parts you can get for it come with a high premium they're pretty expensive. As well as it's heavy I do some properties now or even my 30-in time master doesn't fit through a gate and I actually have to pick it up and shimmy it through a gate. The Troy-Bilt is pretty heavy so there is no picking it up and shimming it through a gate lol. To a homeowner the Troy-Bilt is a great mower, or to someone just starting out in the commercial field it's a good mower if you can find it for the right price however it does have it setbacks as every mower does anyways. My personal opinion if you can get it for $500 or less it's a great deal any more than that you could spend that money elsewhere

      John Ossendorf I’m cutting my lawn in about 50 minutes now. So far I’m very happy with the purchase. Before I would cut sections of the yard on different days now I just cut it all at once. If it lasts 10 years I’ll considers it a home run purchase.

    Not impressed with the “stock” blades there is def better more aggressive blades made by Oregon..
    the bottom of deck design is imo poor as well the “feed” from ea blade don’t really work well together there for causing a JAM or CLOG .. I actually under coated my deck w spray on bed liner and swapped out a 3 slice blade and have seen some improvement.. I’d be sure to clear and clean the bottom of your deck at the end of using the machine..
