I feel like comedy like this fails because people write jokes about being 'stupid' by lowering their intelligence comedically, not by emphasizing the higher intelligence of the other characters. The gave/gaved joke is a perfect example - instead of having Lele make a mistake that is probable for an adult (or an older teenager, if that is who she is portraying), they made her make the mistake of a third grader so the teacher could correct her. The joke would work much better if her mistake was reasonable, because it would make the teacher seem like more of a pedantic fucker and less like someone concerned that Lele has suffered a head injury.

I don't know her "OCD story" as I do not follow her. But, as someone who also has OCD, I can tell you that she deserves the same treatment as everyone else.
