Putting pepper spray into someone's vape is a great way to really actually seriously injure them, and it could kill them.
If the person is lucky enough not to go immediately into anaphylaxis (throat swelling completely shut, requiring immediate emergency intervention,) as the body reflexively tries to protect itself from whatever is in the air it's breathing, then the next immediate problem is the violent coughing, in that video. Coughing gently is one thing, but violent coughing can actually cause a tear in the person's esophagus. This happens to lung cancer patients sometimes, and it's serious. The tear in the esophagus is sometimes what causes them to cough up blood. That bleeding tear can't heal on its own so long as the person is continuing to cough, potentially for days (longer in the case of lung cancer,) so it'd continue to bleed, and they could actually bleed to death internally. That's a real thing. Since the tear in the esophagus can't heal naturally with the person coughing, the treatment is to surgically cauterize the tear and then put the patient on a prescription cough suppressing medication like an opioid (the dextromethorphan in cough medicine is actually a type of opioid, just not the same type of opioid as, say, codeine or heroin, both of which also suppress the cough reflex. Medicine is interesting.) So now your friend is recovering from an invasive surgery and addicted to opioids.

Human lungs aren't designed for inhaling smoke or vape, things people put into them every day, let alone a toxic substance like pepper spray. Even people who are sprayed from a distance with it suffer breathing problems and many have died. To inhale it directly? Did this 'prankster' know that he was directly endangering his friend's life?
