I feel for these women. Not in a way that I think they are correct in their ideology (I am a Christian woman who is wholly disgusted by American Christian culture) but because I can feel the path they have been on to get here. As I grew up in the church, it was shoved down our throats that any attraction aside from marriage is sinful (which isn’t even biblical LMAO). We weren’t even taught the true gospel, which focuses on Jesus’ love and affection for the Church, just the gospel of purity - where the end-all-be-all was how to both dress “modest” enough that you wouldn’t “lead men astray” with their apparently uncontrollable attraction but on the flip side also taught that pleasuring and taking care your husband in marriage is most important. It’s a disgusting and dangerous ideology that plagues the church and distorts the mind of young women such that it creates brainwashed women like this. I love Jesus but this behavior deserves the criticism. Love y’all lol
