I grew up with these really religious twins. One got engaged early in college (shocker) but at the party, they told the story of he asked her to be is girlfriend (which was basically marriage). Its so surreal to me to see a bunch to people in their early 20s giving me advice as a someone in their 30s. It's like a mirror because a lot of them are behaving in ways i saw my own peers did and myself for a time. We think we know everything, but we are totally clueless, and we spent 10 years trying to figure out are identities. Now people in that age group in that same mindset want to give me advice suddenly. I don't know the whole thing I find deeply amusing. Also, side note, girl defined teaching sex-ed is the funniest thing I ever heard. Speaking of people who don't know anything, these ladies couldn't tell the difference between missionary and a literary missionary.
tbh it's more sex misinformation than anything else... also, one of their brothers, the oldest I think recently came forward and spoke about SA he experienced as a child, and how his mother was really shitty about it and gaslight him when he told her. All is not well in the girl defined world...

As someone who has always gone back and forth with my thoughts on religion (raised Christian in the South), I understand where Cody’s coming from. I also imagine having kids makes you question mortality, etc.
I revisit this every few months. I had a really bad shroom trip and I found this video and it transformed the game like ive never seen it before. My sister had this transition, but middle school > high school. She went to church at least 2 times a week, prayed every night, preached the Bible to all her friends, never used profanity, chose to be re-baptized, blah blah blah. Now she does coke (among other drugs) every weekend, doesn’t believe in god, slept around, and doesn’t really care about anyone anymore. Such a crazy transition 😂

Its so funny because I'm a recovering junkie/alcoholic but then I have these 2 coworker brothers that are insane bible huggers. Like one brother says he's never cursed, had sex, done drugs or drank, goes to church everyday and says "We dont Hate gay people, they're just going to burn in eternal hell fire damnation." Yet he looks like some bro with tribal arm tats (even though hes in his mid 20s) that should be fist pumping in some Florida club at 4am all coked out. And then the other brother curses, has a wife and kids, but is the same in every other way to his brother. And I always think, the instant they try drugs in any capacity they're done for. Like knowing someone that NEVER drinken or done any drugs whatsoever is just insane to me.
