I havent been working out for a very long time because of depression. This is the first workout i did in YEARS. i had so much fun i was smiling the whole time. My arms were about to fall off during Temperature LOL I've been doing different grow with jo workouts for a few weeks now, and this is the first time in a couple years I've actually ENJOYED working out. This was my first dance one to do, and I loved it. Take me back to the 2000s music era!!!
3 months later, temperature still brings the burn, BUT it does not feel like my arms are going to fall off anymore!! I'm so grateful to Jo for making workouts that are enjoyable and effective. I'm so much stronger now than I was even since the time I posted my original post. I'm also proud of myself for committing to taking care of myself the best I can. Here's to hoping for another 2000s workout video!!!

I live on the second floor too! I kept a sturdy yoga mat under my feet, and replaced each jumping part with baby steps instead. No noise complaints so far!
I rediscovered how good it felt to dance with some friends. I never realised how good it felt to dance, let alone how much better my body felt and how much weight I lost. Then decided to look up a dance workout and this was the second result, thank you for making it so fun to exercise x

- Use the mirror well so it’s easy to see what you’re doing,
- Show the next move so I can mentally prepare for the change,
- Visual and audio countdown so I know a change is coming,
- Do each move long enough for me to figure it out before moving on to the next,
- Time the moves to music so freestyle dancing feels just as right.

I have recently decided to change my lifestyle at 17. I have always been a bigger girl and recently I’ve noticed that my weight is slowly increasing and my sugar cravings have gone out of control. I threw this video on because I always used to enjoy dancing and I have since I was younger and I LOVED IT. I will definitely do this again and again and again and your other videos as well as this one. Dancing and riding bike and walking are my favourite types of excercies rn and when I become more comfortable and advanced at working out I will go onto weights and other forms of exercising. This is the first workout I started of yours about a month ago! I have tried so many and do two a day! @@mcdonalds9438 PLEASE don't count calories, it can lead to very unhealthy relationships with food and exercising! Eat nutritious food and workout a few times per week (3-4 is often recommended!) You should move often throughout the day as it also boosts Mental wellbeing!

I appreciate the concern and advice, I was just asking because I'm still waiting on my smart watch and just wanted to know how effective this exercise was until I get it. I'm trying to do 10 000 steps a day but don't have the watch to measure anything yet lol. I totally agree with you on everything you said and do not count calorie intake with food because that would just make me miserable and give up on the workouts. I just eat balanced meals and try and get my steps in. Take care, lovely xx

I need so many more of these, I'm a bigger girl who wasn't trying to lose weight just be healthier and more comfortable in her own skin but since doing these I've noticed that I'm feeling more energetic and confident and have even started fitting into clothes that were destined for the charity box. Going to the gym and not being able to complete workout routines gives me so much anxiety but this has almost made it fun dare I say! I became sick over two years ago, and it really took a toll on my body. At one point, I didn't have the energy or lung capacity to walk to the end of the street. I've slowly been getting into movement again, and after only two songs of this routine, I had to pause the video to catch my breath. But I finished it! Even though it's only 15 minutes of exercise that I completed, it's 15 minutes more than if I hadn't tried at all.
For the first time in a while, I am encouraged that I can do some exercise. Some is better than none, and maybe this is my springboard to get back into a routine of movement at least three times a week.
This is by far the best workout I’ve ever done. I’m stressed out of my mind going into my senior year and your channel is a life saver for me. I’ve never worked out before this, thank you for showing me that fitness can and SHOULD be FUN.

I'm going to be honest, I only did three out of the four songs, skipping the last one. But as a teenager with a different body type, that would never be achievable for me. I hate exercise as some people do; these moves were so simple and fun that I did them all, putting in a lot of effort and non stop. It was a fun exercise that I randomly picked to try and lose some pounds for my happiness (not to please no one else) and it was definitely worth it. I am totally subbing and you bet I'll have a playlist of these to do daily! Thank you for making it fun and enjoyable, I think you might be just the start I needed to push for my change :)
I searched CZcams for a dance workout and this is what came up, and it did NOT disappoint. I'm fairly uncoordinated but the timer showing the next move was SO helpful that I had no issues following along. Can't wait to try out more of your workouts! 😊
I always feel so happy working out to your videos. This 2000 Dance Workout was the bomb! You picked awesome songs and I wanted the workout to last another 15 minutes so I did it twice!! LOL PLEASE do another 2000 Dance Workout!!! A 30 minute one would be awesome! 👍
