    I havent been working out for a very long time because of depression. This is the first workout i did in YEARS. i had so much fun i was smiling the whole time. At the and of the workout i got overwhelmed with all emotions and cried so much. I feel so relieved. This is just the start.     I did this workout after nearly 6 months of not exercising. I searched ‘dance workout’ and this was the first one that came up.     My arms were about to fall off during Temperature LOL I've been doing different grow with jo workouts for a few weeks now, and this is the first time in a couple years I've actually ENJOYED working out. This was my first dance one to do, and I loved it. Take me back to the 2000s music era!!!

      3 months later, temperature still brings the burn, BUT it does not feel like my arms are going to fall off anymore!! I'm so grateful to Jo for making workouts that are enjoyable and effective. I'm so much stronger now than I was even since the time I posted my original post. I'm also proud of myself for committing to taking care of myself the best I can. Here's to hoping for another 2000s workout video!!!

    I am SEVERELY out of scape due to a car accident and a following depression. This was honestly such a wake up call for me. I barely lasted 5 minute before needing a break. I really want to be healthy again. Thank you so mich for your video!

    This is so cheesy but as SAHM i have gained like 40 pounds since i gave birth and today i caught a look at myself in a full length mirror and was not happy with what I saw.     This is the BEST workout video! I find talking very annoying, but you don’t talk through like the others. It’s soooo much better.

      I made it only through the 8 minute mark (so almost through 2 songs).
      I'm actually a dancer, but the past year I got into really unhealthy eating habits so such workouts really show me how unfit I am these days.

      I live on the second floor too! I kept a sturdy yoga mat under my feet, and replaced each jumping part with baby steps instead. No noise complaints so far!

    You’re a genius! This video was perfect. Great music: obviously. But you also:
    - Use the mirror well so it’s easy to see what you’re doing,
    - Show the next move so I can mentally prepare for the change,
    - Visual and audio countdown so I know a change is coming,
    - Do each move long enough for me to figure it out before moving on to the next,
    - Time the moves to music so freestyle dancing feels just as right.
    THANK YOU! I’ve never before found a workout video that doesn’t frustrate me.

    I’ve had absolutely no motivation to work out but I just came across your tik tok & it made me want to try a dancing workout! This was so much fun!       I don't get the active inactive break down but i got 142 cals total so same as you. I was amazed by the 8 min in the red zone, as in the most intense.

    After putting off exercising for so long after having a baby and making all the excuses, finding workout videos to try and just finding them boring I came across yours and absolutely love it! I genuinely have started to enjoy doing exercise at home in the hopes to get myself back into shape after having a baby! Would loveeeee if you could do a Harry styles dance workout ❤ xx

    Idk what it is with your workouts but they seriously bring me so much joy! I work out regularly but I hate dance workouts that are so difficult that it makes you frustrated. Your workouts are perfectly balanced with movement and FUN!! The time flies and every time I dance to this video it feels like only 5 minutes has passed!! THANK YOU!!

    I recently got diagnosed w POTS & have been so afraid to get back into exercise just because I know my body can't do what it used. I've tried yoga but this honestly made me smile so much, not because it was easy (trust my body is so achy but in a good way) but just because of your energy & how much it reminds me of cheer. I really needed to remember how much I love dancing & moving to good music. Thank you so much for your amazing videos.     I have recently decided to change my lifestyle at 17. I have always been a bigger girl and recently I’ve noticed that my weight is slowly increasing and my sugar cravings have gone out of control. I threw this video on because I always used to enjoy dancing and I have since I was younger and I LOVED IT. I will definitely do this again and again and again and your other videos as well as this one. Dancing and riding bike and walking are my favourite types of excercies rn and when I become more comfortable and advanced at working out I will go onto weights and other forms of exercising.     This is the first workout I started of yours about a month ago! I have tried so many and do two a day! With these workouts and intermittent fasting I have seen my clothes get looser, my mood and energy get better and my confidence skyrocket. No idea how many pounds down from the starting 260. But I feel and see the difference!

      @@mcdonalds9438 PLEASE don't count calories, it can lead to very unhealthy relationships with food and exercising! Eat nutritious food and workout a few times per week (3-4 is often recommended!) You should move often throughout the day as it also boosts Mental wellbeing!

I appreciate the concern and advice, I was just asking because I'm still waiting on my smart watch and just wanted to know how effective this exercise was until I get it. I'm trying to do 10 000 steps a day but don't have the watch to measure anything yet lol. I totally agree with you on everything you said and do not count calorie intake with food because that would just make me miserable and give up on the workouts. I just eat balanced meals and try and get my steps in. Take care, lovely xx

    Girl, thank you so much for your videos. I gained weight after I getting married and I’ve been really struggling to find something I like to help me loose the weight. I love the dance videos so much, I’m having fun and don’t agonizingly look at the timer to see if it’s over yet (which is a win for me.) and I feel great afterwards! 😊

    I need so many more of these, I'm a bigger girl who wasn't trying to lose weight just be healthier and more comfortable in her own skin but since doing these I've noticed that I'm feeling more energetic and confident and have even started fitting into clothes that were destined for the charity box. Going to the gym and not being able to complete workout routines gives me so much anxiety but this has almost made it fun dare I say! If you're a beginner or just want something fun I will always recommend this. ❤

    I became sick over two years ago, and it really took a toll on my body. At one point, I didn't have the energy or lung capacity to walk to the end of the street. I've slowly been getting into movement again, and after only two songs of this routine, I had to pause the video to catch my breath. But I finished it! Even though it's only 15 minutes of exercise that I completed, it's 15 minutes more than if I hadn't tried at all.
    For the first time in a while, I am encouraged that I can do some exercise. Some is better than none, and maybe this is my springboard to get back into a routine of movement at least three times a week.

    I'm going to be honest, I only did three out of the four songs, skipping the last one. But as a teenager with a different body type, that would never be achievable for me. I hate exercise as some people do; these moves were so simple and fun that I did them all, putting in a lot of effort and non stop. It was a fun exercise that I randomly picked to try and lose some pounds for my happiness (not to please no one else) and it was definitely worth it. I am totally subbing and you bet I'll have a playlist of these to do daily! Thank you for making it fun and enjoyable, I think you might be just the start I needed to push for my change :)

    I searched CZcams for a dance workout and this is what came up, and it did NOT disappoint. I'm fairly uncoordinated but the timer showing the next move was SO helpful that I had no issues following along. Can't wait to try out more of your workouts! 😊

    I always feel so happy working out to your videos. This 2000 Dance Workout was the bomb! You picked awesome songs and I wanted the workout to last another 15 minutes so I did it twice!! LOL PLEASE do another 2000 Dance Workout!!! A 30 minute one would be awesome! 👍
